Fantastic experience: It was my home gym since it's time identifying as Flex Appeal over 26 years ago and continues to be home now

Fantastic experience: Get in, work out, buy a snack, go home. No gates, no apps, no huge crowds, just the good stuff

Fantastic experience: Excellent old-school type gym. No messing about. Everyone wants to get on with it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Best independent gym in Wolverton by a long stretch. (Also has changing rooms, toilets, etc.)

Negative experience: So the gym, I don’t have too much of a problem with. Apart from now they have downsized they sold all of the good equipment and kept all the knackered bits. I was matched with a PT called Ed. Paid for 12 sessions and unfortunately diagnosed with a hernia so I cannot do any heavy lifting for at least a year until my surgery. This PT will not refund me anything, not even out of goodwill. So I cannot train and he has robbed me of £300, didn’t even sign a contract. So at the moment I’m having to deal with small claims court as this ‘cartel’ are so greedy and unjust it’s horrifying. Honestly go elsewhere. PS THERE ARE NO SHOWERS OR CHANGING ROOMS.

Fantastic experience: At this gym don't expect to have all fancy set up like aircon and carpet, this gym will push your stamina to the next level, if you can handle that you will not want to set foot in a commercial gym again. If you can manage 5 sets of 10-15 reps of compound training at Atlas a commercial gym will drop that standard and that stamina. See you there if you dare.

Fantastic experience: Visited Milton Keynes and saw Atlas Gym as a must go to gym. I love these sort of gyms. They are so well presented with what is required. Very nicely welcomed at the front desk. All food and protein shakes and gym apparel available. First gym session is free of charge which is a bonus. Plenty of heavy duty equipment. Main gym upstairs. Cardio and some olympic powerlifting available on the ground flow. So if you visiting the area. Definately a place to work out.

Negative experience: Great variety of gym equipment. By far the most dirtiest and unhygienic gym I have visited. Floor tiles are broken and pose a serious health hazard. Some members are very rude!

Negative experience: Charge you more because i'm a male. this is not equality it should be the same price whether your male or female.

Positive experience: Nice gym. Lots of free weights and weight lifting machines to choose from. Can get really busy during peak hours. Not a lot of parking available outside the gym, but you can use the Tesco car park.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and polite. They put me at ease even with my flabby stomach and match stick arms. I didn't feel self conscious about my body like I thought I would, I just felt that I had something to work towards, seeing Thier perfect body's (to me perfect, to them no where near?!?!?) Really showed me that with hard work anything is possible!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, the best range of weight lifting equipment in MK. Old school feel upstairs with loads of hammer strength machines, dumbbells and other stuff. Power lifting area with multiple squat racks and a bench downstairs.

Positive experience: Good gym but some meathead regulars

Positive experience: A proper gym, but could be better. The good: Open early 'til late. Friendly atmosphere and staff, and some very new equipment downstairs which is ideal for powerlifting and olympic weightlifting. A large training room upstairs packed with a wide variety of resistance machines and a good range of free weights. Lots of cardio machines and some tanning booths, which could be considered a plus if you are into bodybuilding. Wide variety of supplements and clothing available. The not so good: Not much parking. Only two flat bench press stations (and only 1 incline) in the whole gym. A lot of the older equipment is showing it's age. Music is overwhelmingly loud and invariably terrible - they'd be better off getting rid of the speakers downstairs that give customers a chance to play their own music (nice touch in theory, awful in practice). All told, this is still a very good gym, but needs a bit of TLC and some extra equipment before it can consider itself a 5-star establishment.

Negative experience: very sad room, I was just one day and I was forced to pay 6 months, in the context that I moved out of town, they broke my credits. I do not recommend this room. Find the gym anywhere better

Negative experience: As stated below funny how they leave it 4 months until they send you a bill of £128 when you haven't been going , cancelled direct debit months ago with bank got told by the lady at the gym the welcoming email told me to cancel the direct debit with the gym which it didn't

Fantastic experience: I joined Atlas Fitness 6 months ago and haven't looked back, the facilities are excellent and everyone is friendly. I like the layout upstairs with the free-weights and resistance machines, it's easy to get around and you're never waiting - there's always something to do. I would recommend anyone to join if you're serious about keeping fit.
