3 years ago Negative experience: Facilities are great, and the gym is nice and clean….. however they sold a service to tie you into long contracts (12 to 36months) then have removed most of the services sold. Number of classes included in the membership heavily reduced and instead replaced with classes at an additional £5 charge. When challenged on this staff send a blunt reply with bullet points to defend unethical business techniques and then ignore you.
Hi Anon ;) Thank you for your feedback always good to hear... We worked with a gym marketing company to boost memberships in our early days, to my knowledge all prospective clients were spoken to by Dan or Sophia and taken through the contract and stipulations thoroughly before ANYTHING was signed, can you clarify that please? Nothing within that contract says the gym (us) cannot make changes to how we run or business, unfortunately we ran FREE classes but had to employ staff to run classes, so if you can imagine for a new business this was far from financially viable and something we just couldn't offer anymore, plus most of the time we only had 1-3 people on them which again made no sense for us. I hope you can understand the situation we were in and had to make a difficult decision to cancel classes to keep the rest of the gym open for all our other members. Always here to chat further.
