Fantastic experience: First time at the W Spa for the day with a friend. I can honestly say we had a lovely relaxing day....lovely welcome at reception explaining and showing us around. Clean and good sized Changing rooms...lovely pool area with hydro pool, steam rooms and jacuzzi....the exclusive room for spa guests was a lovely touch and a nice place to relax and have a hot drink. Massage was perfect and we really enjoyed the chill room afterwards with complimentary 'teas' and water. To finish our day off we made our way by car to The Weir restaurant for our lunch...excellent food. Good service and view was lovely. Easily 10/10 today....only feedback I would give are road bumps are harsh and perhaps an option to buy cake/fruit in the spa room itself to keep you going until late lunch would be good. Can't wait to come back so thank you for a lovely day

Negative experience: Staff very pleasant welcoming Facilities- Beginning to show wear and tear several tiles missing from around the hot tub, Relaxing couches following massage grubby Massage-I haven’t had one in UK for awhile, but it felt to me a very toKen massage. It did not include the sides of legs or body,.just token top of my back and top of my front. no higher back or top over the shoulders or neck no higher chest or. front neck no hands no feet no sides of body . The person doing the massage very pleasant . no Prosecco -as per advert -failed to arrive

Fantastic experience: Used W Club while staying at the Whalesborough Spa site. Neat gym with a great selection of machines. Lockers available. Swimming pool with whirlpool and sauna and steam room. Lovely place and wasn't busy at all.

The steam room and sauna were lovely and the pool was a nice temperature and a great place to get in some lengths. We loved the neck jet and hydrotherapy pool also. Would gladly return.

Fantastic experience: We as a family so enjoy our membership at The W Club. The facilities are brilliant, especially the pool and spa! The team of staff are super, Nicki and Calla work hard at reception to answer all my questions with quick responses and to help arrange any gorgeous Gaia treatments with the caring therapists. Jordan the manager is super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and the lovely young chap who has given me suggestions for walking exercises in the pool! ( Sorry I can't remember your name) Thank you

Negative experience: So… my wife and I (who live about 12 miles away) thought we’d pop over to see about gym membership after months of deliberating. After waiting at reception for at least 5 minutes whilst the manager (Nikki?) came in and out whilst showing others around, at least twice, and failing to even acknowledge us, and after hearing voices up the staircase, I ventured up and politely asked the 2 totally unaware chaps if one of them could assist us. One came down and was helpful but he was rather, erm, ‘confused’. As well as quoting prices for bulk PT sessions that my wife wanted that differed totally to the prices on the website (£200 for 10??!) he also said he’d email prices that same day re joining as a couple for gym only access (and PT pricing confirmation). We left email details and waited for the email. A day. A week. A month. Nothing. Seriously, how hard is it to do what you say? It’s really not that hard. You had nobody (at all) in the gym. A complete waste of our time. I’m not convinced this guy knew how to tie his own shoelaces and the fact that ‘Nikki’ asked (again without even acknowledging us) “if he was ok” whilst making one of her flitting appearances makes me wonder if he was on some sort of mature work experience or something. We’ll take our 2 annual memberships elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I very much enjoyed a recent spa day visit here, the staff were very friendly and the surroundings are wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was during summer holidays, it wasn't overcrowded and there is a private hot tub and seating area for spa guests. Will come again :)

Positive experience: We came here in a spa day. The gym was quite good and the staff were really friendly. Swimming pool was quite busy in the morning but quieter in the afternoon. The food as part of the spa day was pretty good and the robes and slippers were a nice touch. There was a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which were good but not as many facilities and some spas.

The service was impeccable Nicki was helpful and informative over email before hand and then was great on the day even booking us a taxi for the evening. We had lunch and a bottle or two of Prosecco and a wonderfully relaxing afternoon. The treatments were the best we’d had in a good while! Stunning setting, amazing amenities and brilliant service! Fantastic experience: Very clean and contemporary. Staff exceptionally attentive, went over and above to please us. Lunch delivered to the spa dinning/relax area at no extra charge. Completely spoiled for choices when it comes to treatments available. Face massage the best ever!! Swimming pool with a gentle wave, several jacuzzi indoor and outdoor, steam very clean and properly steamy, sauna really hot as it should be. Very tasteful surroundings both spacious and cosy. We came for a day treat and are totally sold. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic experience: Myself and a few girlfriends had a tailored spa day with multiple treatments from body massages, body scrubs to manicures in this placegirlfriends. It is fabulous! They have a well laid out treatment menu with really good selections. They have a full length indoor heated swimming pool and heated rooms and outdoor and indoor jacuzzis. It is quite spacious and facilities well maintained. It is a family run business. All the staff and owners who work in the premises are very lovely. It is just off the A39 in Bude so if ever youre in North Cornwall and in need of pampering, this is the place for you!
