Fantastic experience: Situated up stairs and out of the way, plenty of weight frames and the perfect place for muscle training. Protein shakes and snacks available over the counter. Membership recommended to make the most of the facilities.

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym on the island. Very friendly and even when it does get busy you can still do your workout no problem unlike waterside where its to busy and equipment is nowhere near as good. And is full of kids sitting on machines for to long. If anyone is thinking about joining a gym in the area then look no further than island gym it's by far the best on the island

Negative experience: While paying £7.50 for a day pass at the gym. The cleaner sprayed the machine I was in the middle of using and left the machine soaked. Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: Not a health club, it's a gym.. very simply put.. its got everything you need.. very friendly staff. The front door isn't obvious but since I've lived on the island I've chosen to train here..

Fantastic experience: Easily the best old school gym in Essex. No Other comes close. Never a week goes by without a session here. Even at its busiest day will always have enough benches or machines to use if others are occupied
