Fantastic experience: I am a returning member of Bornefit and it was the best decision! I always loved the supportive and enclusive vibe, and the great results I got from being a. Member there, and I only left as I moved out of the area. But after trying several gyms in the past 18 months, I realised there really is nowhere that comes close to this very special place, and it is absolutely worth the drive to be there. It felt like coming home.

Fantastic experience: Friendly Staff with Excellent Facilities

Fantastic experience: Very friendly gym. Cafe is welcomeing and has somehting for all e.g. Meals, protein shakes bars etc, pot of tea, proper coffe machine, energy drinks cakes etc. This is unusual for a gym i like the meals and tea but measn theres something for everyone id say making it welcoming enviroment.

Fantastic experience: So far so good. Rejoined after not going for many years. Completely out of shape and fitness. No judgement just keen to get me to where I'd like to be. Facilities look excellent and are vastly improved on 8 years ago. Really looking forward to it this time. Thanks to Nick and the team for being so welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Nothing but positive things to say about this gym. Staff are super welcoming and helpful for whatever you need, the cafe blown me away with the stuff they feature dedicated to fitness products and the equipment is top notch while they keep adding more to it. Very clean toilets and gym floor, with the atmosphere being very positive. Although busy at times, I’ve always been able to get to machines I need for my workout and it’s felt amazing after every session.

Fantastic experience: Joined after attending a different gym for some time and I have to say I absolutely love it! The atmosphere feels so positive and healthy, there are a great mix of levels in terms of fitness and always someone to help if you ask! Staff have been amazing to me so far and have had no problems with any of the equipment. I'm a huge fan of the thick axle deadlift bar, they are rare in this area! All in all love my experience so far and plan on staying!

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Bornefit more, totally transformed my life in 7 weeks I've lost 1.5 stone and feel great.

Fantastic experience: I'm loving classes at Bornefit, it's been about 18 months since I last took part in organized exercise classes but the warm welcome of staff and other clients has put any anxiety about starting over to bed quickly. I particularly enjoy Jen's step class on a Wednesday!

Positive experience: good gym , friendly staff but missing earlier opening times at weekends. 6:00 am would be ideal. don't need cafe at that time, just gym. hopefully you will change it. I. used to use 24h gym-that would be ideal

Fantastic experience: A really well-equipped gym that has created a like-minded community. I am a regular gym goer and even still found machines in there that I haven’t seen elsewhere which is super fun to try. Big fan of the meal prep too. Especially the cottage pie. Thank you to all the staff for being super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The best gym I've been to and its constantly expanding. Super impressed with the services bornefit offers. When I signed up I had a training plan set up for me which I did all the time at first before I made my own plan. Staff always lovely and welcoming. Other customers also super friendly and the broad range of gym equipment within Bornefit accommodates to everyone's goals. Alongside this its the first time I've seen a protein cafe included in a gym and I'm a fan.

Fantastic experience: Me and my friend just started, we did a class this morning followed by induction. Nick was very helpful and explained everything perfectly! We now feel so much more confident and comfortable coming to the gym and cannot wait to get stuck in! Best gym we’ve walked into, cannot fault it! The food is also so god damn tasty

Positive experience: I'm a member here again I like this gym as you can go about your own business, do your own workout as plenty of floor space. there's always going to be a man in the mirror flexing his so called muscles but come and join x

Fantastic experience: Best gym that I've been too. Top quality and facilties including locker and shower room, a huge machine and free weights area and even punching bags ! Love it

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym with a huge variety of kit, both what you would expect from a community gym but also some really rare finds like the Wenning good morning machine. Not as much free weights areas at other gyms, but still more than enough for most gym goers. At busy times/days it can be a bit of a matching plate hunt in the Hammer strength room, but unless you specifically need all calibrated plates, you should have no problem. There's a few bits of strongman kit, one smaller strength shop log (I could only see one drop mat for the log) and a short turfed run to use them on. Definitely worth a visit, and day passes are incredibly well priced given the range of kit available.

Lots of different classes and they treat everyone equally so if your new to a class... you will be shown how to do everything but without being singled out!! Plenty of equipment and gorgeous shakes for after

Positive experience: Good variety of equipment all top of the range. Friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is it can get very busy and you cant get on much, lunchtime- mid afternoon seems quieter.

Fantastic experience: Best place to go

Positive experience: The staff and trainers are so kind and welcoming, they work really hard, however the gym itself is so very untidy, plates are left out all over the place on the floor and no body puts any of their kit away, they just leave it for the next poor person which is a shame. If it wasn't for this, gym would be 5 ⭐

Fantastic experience: Very good gym; there are two Olympic platforms in the main gym area, each with a decent complement of bumper plates. The bars are a a bit on the worn end, very few appear to have moving bearings, but the price is extremely reasonable, the staff and clients are friendly, and it's never too crowded. There's also a large space that seems like it must have CrossFit style classes in it; I've never actually been to one, but it's a great place to do a weightlifting workout, the bars there are a bit better and there's probably six or eight sets of bumper plates there, in addition to sleds, tyres, ropes, and all that random stuff that people love nowadays. I come here frequently from about 25 minutes away because of the good vibe and chance to have plenty of space in that crossfit area. Edit: oh yea, a lot of the gym is lit like a nightclub, that's a sort of distinctive feature Edit: about the music, of course this is a personal taste thing, but in my view it’s better than any gym I’ve been to anywhere. It’s usually drum and bass when I’ve been here, which is way better for a workout than random light pop station on Spotify.

Positive experience: Great space, equipment and friendly staff. Sadly ut was really messy when I came, with no obvious box for grips and handles which meant they were all over the floor. Bars and equipment left fully loaded and not put away and PTs weren't dressed clearly. Like I say, lovely people and cool spot, would recommend.

Negative experience: Tried to cancel but didnt get the detail about 30 days notice, canceled direct debit only to find out i didnt even need to cancel the Gym - instead i needed to contact Ashbourne Management services. V pissed of beware when trying to cancel membership. Other than that Great GYM.

All the equipment you could possibly want, reasonable gym fees, classes (cardio bike, core, yoga etc) hot showers in the new changing rooms, parking...the list goes on! What continues to make this gym so popular are the friendly people who run it, who always remember your name to say hello!
