Fantastic experience: Great gym (I feel obligated to sat that so I don't get beasted next time I'm in!). Great staff (oh my days, they're beasts!! Take me back to school!!). Lots of equipment (that treadmills getting a lump hammer next time I'm there!). Was mine and my daughters first time today (with fingers crossed behind my back), we both feel really pumped and ready for round two (we're both in a heap and can barely walk!! Currently google-ing how many muscles we have that are going to hurt ). No, in all seriousness, fantastic place with great offers on for joining

Positive experience: Awesome gym nice and friendly the only problem is one member of staff who can't be bothered to get there and open up on time. The staff member rang me and apologized.

Negative experience: Gym decent quality but most staff know little about the ins and outs of how to correctly use equipment productively and are often unreasonable and rude over little things.

Fantastic experience: We have just moved to the area and was looking for a gym locally as my previous gym is a bit too far away now. I was greeted by a lovely member of staff, who's name I didn't get. She showed me around and offered me a twelve day pass for £12 which I accepted so I can try it out and see if I like it. I can honestly say that I will more than likely be joining on a monthly contract. Very good facilities and a sauna too

Fantastic experience: Writing on behalf of my son who recently took on membership here. In sum, he loves it, though active with football he would spend weeknights amd most of the weekend attached to his PC. G&T gave him more drive, a defined plan for his own goals, and importantly improving his strength, stamina and confidence. I would join if I didn't have a gym at my work.

Fantastic experience: Easy to sign for trial period. Very friendly & helpful staff. More to report after a 30-day trial period. I have now been a member for 36 months, a very enjoyable, well run gym to exercise and meet others.

Fantastic experience: Gym & Tonic may not be the biggest club I've ever joined but they are certainly the friendliest, the equipment and machines are spotless, the Staff are only too pleased to help you, I love my mornings with you, I've only joined from 30.12.21 but already my body shape has changed and will continue to do so. Best decision I have made for myself in a long time to join Gym & Tonic.

Fantastic experience: Nice buzz and great choice of Equipment. I joined in December had a good intro and given a fitness plan staff always happt to help and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good equipment. Baskets or similar in showers would be useful. Perhaps reduce pressure of showers- may save water and obviate need for people to keep doors opens while showering.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! The kit is fantastic, classes are brilliant - there is something for everyone and you can always gets on them. Other members are really friendly and courteous (not hogging kit etc). The Instructors are also very knowledgeable and the bespoke programmes they write up are so brilliant - makes the workout fun and means you learn how to use all the equipment effectively. Five stars for a five star service!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant gym, with great staff, Classes, clinics, boot camps, lady's centre, sauna. Got everything you could possibly need. Everyone is so friendly. I first joined gym and tonic in August 2017 as a member, using the gym and going to classes, since then I have become a member of staff because I love it so much! ❤️❤️

Positive experience: Nice little local gym. Has a good range of equipment and the staff are friendly and approachable. My only recommendation would be to remove the passive aggressive signs about securing bikes outside.

Fantastic experience: They have recently updated their equipment so that they were new and improved. Also many machines for assistance and for different people's needs.

Negative experience: Signed up for a monthly contract only to find out they signed me up to a 12 month contract so I told them I had to quit because I had too much back pain. They said I needed a hospital note so I had to wait a couple of weeks and they charged me again. Finally got a note and they canceled it. Update. They told my friend to remove my review. That's professional.

Negative experience: Went here for a number of months, one day when using their bicep curl machine my muscle tore in my upper arm. I lay on the floor rolling in agony only to have one of the staff members come up to me and kick me whilst on the floor telling me to get up, when I managed to compose myself he actually picked me up and threw me down the stairs leading down to the ground floor. I suffered multiple broken bones and brain damage. Appalling behaviour from staff

Positive experience: Well equipped cardio section and plenty of choice for dumbbells. However it is missing a few weight machines and there isn't many weight plates if you are after strength training. Also found the womens training room to be very stereotypical, lots of cardio, a few leg machines and some weird purple exercise beds. Changing room facilities were nice and clean.
