Fantastic experience: Che palestra! Sono andato ad allenarmi in questa palestra per una settimana, essendo che ero ad Hastings per lavoro. Mi son trovato benissimo, sia con il signore in reception, simpatico e sempre all’opera a preparare cibo per i clienti, perche’ da loro puoi avere sia un pre-workout che un post-workout (pagando ovviamente). La palestra in se ha attrezzi vecchi ma piu’ funzionali di quelli nuovi, manubri che arrivano a kg infiniti che neanche in un’altra vita alzero’, macchinari per ogni singola parte del corpo, 3-4 postazioni per fare gli squat! Inoltre ha un’ampia sala fitness e una sala in cui fare addominali, pugilato e esercizi a corpo libero. Complimenti, ci tornero’sicuro come l’oro quando tornero’ in questo splendido paese. Positive experience: Waa on a works trip up from Portsmouth to Bexhill On Sea for three days..Needed ti find a non cgain gym that would let us pay to use it for one day instead of having to sign up for a month..Stumbled over this old skool gym..Really good gym snd the owner was great supplying tubs of food freshly made on the premises too , chicjen, ruve ,pork veg etc..Had a hreat atnosphere and was really no nonsence..Really good and not exepinsive..

Fantastic experience: 5+ years of full time travelling throughout Europe and North America and I think I can honestly say... my #1 club. The perfect blend of hardcore/fitness club. Not often do you see a club that can cater to all. From strongman, to bodybuilding to general fitness... this club has it all. Friendly staff (customer service), extremely well equipped, clean and thankfully for my particular needs... affordable. With so many clubs either having no short term options OR ridiculous prices (eg. £20/day), so lucky to have found Zeus Gym. Top notch. WELL DONE!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym with lots of equipment & space to workout. I was on Hoilday at the local Haven with my family, and decided to get a week's Pass at Zeus Gym. It was only £12 and opened at 05.30am during the weekdays and 7am on the weekend, so I could get a workout in before the family woke up. It has a Cardio room, Matted room and a weights room full of all the equipment/free weights you need. It definitely has a strength/old school gym feel. Everyone from Staff too members were polite. Also had an outdoor section (strongman stuff) with Atlas stones, tractor tyres and a section of farmers carry equipment etc... Been training for 24 years now, and if I lived in the area, this would easily be my home Gym.

Negative experience: Disgusting, avoid at all costs. Had a member of staff swear at me repeatedly when I asked for assistance. When I raised the issue with other members of staff the situation wasn’t taken seriously and I was told that it was just a clash of personalities. I received no apology. Their solution was to give me the times and dates that this person would be on shift so that I adjust my schedule to avoid them. Actual joke! I’ve cancelled my direct debit.

Fantastic experience: I came here for 2 weeks while I was in the area from London and was really impressed. This is a proper gym if that makes sense, a nice community feel and has everything you need! In London there’s are gym’s everywhere and with that you lose that sense of community so it was refreshing training at Zeus. Terry the owner is a right laugh, banter in full effect, he made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area for sure!

Fantastic experience: Great independent gym, friendly owner. Very large for a non-chain gym, has all the equipment you need and lots of space, so it’s comfortable training even at peak times. Very reasonable prices for day and weekly passes. Everyone puts their weights back :) The homemade protein flapjacks are amazing!

Negative experience: I went to this gym for the first time today and I am shocked at the way this place operates. A man in his early 60's shouting abuse at customers, I understand that he might have known them, but this does not give him the right to use the 'c' word like that! Just before I started filling out the membership form, I heard this man swearing as he was talking with another customer. After hearing several swear words, I decided to leave. As I got up and headed towards the door, the man asked if he can have his pen back, I gave him his pen back and said thank you to which he replied 'f you'! I would recommend for the gym management to remove this repulsive individual from reception. Not only is he revolting to look at or interact with, he is also extremely unprofessional and rude. I have not given this man any excuses to shout or to swear at me, yet he did! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Fantastic experience: Chilled out gym with an emphasis on strength training, boxing and weightlifting. Easy layout, plenty of floor space amid the equipment. The owners recently purchased new dumbbells and a few other pieces of equipment for a spring clean. Have seen great results and the staff, clientele are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Real quality gym, everyone looks after everyone, newest member to the oldest member, youngest trainer to the eldest trainer, such a good atmosphere to train in, would not go anywhere else. Zeus is the strongest and best gym in the local area, also Terry is a wizard in the kitchen, lovely food available.

Fantastic experience: A very good(!) old gym with very nice machines! Some better machines than I have in my gym! I recommend it totally!!! Always again! Nice, polite personal!! 5/5! I paid for one week 10 £. Daily pass 5£. Monthly pass 30£(?) Nice price for this gym!!! (08/2018)

Fantastic experience: I am one of those that likes to put my headphones on, put my head down and get on with my workout. There are plenty who socialise, come is pairs and groups but everyone seems to respect everybody else's M.O. and I haven't met a single ignorant member yet, that says a lot. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the range of equipment suits my requirements and it's really good value for money. Can't fault it!

Negative experience: Walked into the reception with high expectations. Myself and two others enquiring about prices. Approached the reception and light heartedly said 'alright mate?' To start a conversation and try to gain information. He then proceeded to hurl a volley of abuse back. 'I'm not your f****** mate. I've never met you'. Unsure whether it was banter, he proceeded to say 'what are you laughing at'. We brushed it off and asked what the prices were, to which, he sarcastically responded 'on the wall, in huge letters'. Never in my life experienced something like that, we straight up left after about 45 seconds in there. Absolute muggery of a place. Shambles.
