Fantastic experience: Our daughter has been attending classes here for about 15 months, and absolutely loves it! The instructors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, supportive and friendly, and she has gained in confidence, both on and off the mats. She looks forward to every single session, and always comes out buzzing. Due to the popularity and success of the classes, the whole team would benefit from a bigger studio, but we would all wholeheartedly recommend to anyone considering signing up to join.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend both the child and adult classes here. The classes have made my daughter more confident, disciplined and noticeably stronger than she was before. But you can read all the other good reviews about the children's classes... so let me tell you why training here as an adult is so great. I joined the classes after attending a free self defence workshop in the wake of an incident near where I live. I was impressed with the ease of learning the techniques and even after one workshop I felt more confident in defending myself. This prompted me to sign up to regular classes and I'm so glad I did. Two years on and I still have a way to go in my martial arts journey, but I have learnt so much, become stronger and definitely more confident and aware of how to protect myself and my family. The classes are a real mix of people from all walks of life and all ages - you don't have to be super fit, you just have to be willing to give it your best. Everyone is friendly and it's not at all intimidating, even coming to it with no experience, as I did. All of the instructors are great people, experts in their art and take the time to make sure that you not only get it right, but you know why it's important to get it right - they care about bringing you along and that makes all the difference when it comes to retaining your dedication and engagement. I really would give this place a 10 star review if I could. Try it, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: My son has been learning martial arts at premier martial arts since he was 5 years old at little champs. He is now 11 years old and in juniors. He absolutely loves it, the instructors are so experienced, positive, great role models and, most of all, fun! It has sharpened his focus, attention and he loves practicing his martial arts moves! Highly recommend to anyone considering this!

The instructors (especially Mr Luke) are great with the kids, especially when it comes to keeping them engaged and focused. I've already seen a difference in his confidence and how well he listens at home. It’s a perfect mix of learning discipline and having fun. He is an enthusiastic child who works hard but having dyslexia and ADHD was beginning to have a negative impact on his confidence in school. PMA North Leeds has been fantastic for his focus, self-esteem and self-confidence both in school as well as at home. Fantastic experience: We can not recommend PMA Leeds enough Mr Lam,Luke and all the other instructors All are amazing with our granddaughter who has autism, ADHD and learning difficulties,she is not made to feel different from other students they treat everyone as equals,and make the training fun.she has only been going for 3 months and has gained so much confidence in herself. Fantastic experience: Just got to black belt and the instructors are so kind and helpful. I joined at the age of 5 and they have tought me so much self defence and other important skills to defend yourself. I would definitely recommend starting premier martial arts. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Fantastic experience: Ricky came and delivered a self defence workshop to my charity’s staff away day. He was able to empower our people with skills and techniques to look after themselves confidently, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. In addition my son attends his studio and thrives being part of such a brilliant community and his self confidence and self esteem has grown hugely since he became a member. The team are all brilliant professionals and excellent role models for the students.

Negative experience: The training that they give to the children is good and the teachers are friendly. When cancelling the membership,I asked when I had to give notice and the staff said I could tell anytime or 1-2 days prior.I asked Andy to cancel membership but he didn’t answer for two weeks until he had the following month’s payment.He refused to return the money and when I asked him why he said I needed to give one month’s notice Terrible customer service from Andy, ruined the whole experience.Only cares about money,not the customer.

Fantastic experience: Our children have been training with Premier Martial Arts for over 7 years. We wanted them to have fun, but to be able to defend themselves and develop self discipline. PMA has certainly provided this. The kids enjoy their classes and they understand the importance of training twice a week so that they can learn the the key areas, Taekwondo, Kickboxing & Krav Maga. It's been a big family commitment but we feel it's worth it and it's a testament to the instructors that the kids continue to be committed and want to keep learning.

Negative experience: My son signed up for the two lesson trial. I couldn't seem to get any information about pricing and membership without doing that. He really enjoyed the trial but unfortunately they wanted either a year's money up front (more than £900!) or £70 a month and nearly £300 in up front fees. For a 6 year old to try a new hobby this is ludicrous. They also want a commitment of two classes a week, which seems a lot when a child is just starting out. It's a shame because he did enjoy the trial, but they need to be more honest about the financial and time commitment before taking your money for a trial.

Fantastic experience: My son has attended PMA the online zoom classes since the first lockdown. His stamina, focus and attention has significantly improved. Occasionally reluctant to start his class he always finishes by saying, "that was awesome." I can only put that down to the quality of the teaching! The teaching standard is so high, great focus on skill, technique but also teaching amazing principles. PMA also offers an amazing community spirit and great direction and advise to students training. The zoom classes offer top notch teaching with additional staff to advise students live, when and where needed. We just wished we lived closer and will struggle to find somewhere as good which is local to us after lockdown.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional, clean and careful.

Negative experience: My son trained at this place for 6 months. I had to pull him out and sent him to different place. This place is all about money and business. The class size is huge and instructor student ratio about 1:30 . Mr. Lam also use children in the leadership class as teacher assistants in the normal lesson. Premier Martial Arts is good at marketing and expanding business. It is not regulated by British taekwondo association. If you really want to let kids learn probably taekwondo, please avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to PMA as a family for around 3 years. It's not just a training centre, but a family. My boys have learnt so much and are moving through the ranks. I attend Krushbox and can honestly say I have never enjoyed a class as much. Master Lam, Mr Brandon and the team are professional and bring out the best of those in their classes. Having Mrs Lam teaching classes and their two boys starting out on their Martial Arts journey adds to the friendly family feel of the centre. Highly recommend! #BleedGreen

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! My eldest son has been training here for about 6 years and has gone from being a shy little boy to someone that the younger students now look up to. His training has given him the knowledge and confidence to recently stand up to a bully at school (without hitting or striking back). Both my sons love their lessons and the instructors are brilliant with the kids.

Fantastic experience: When you have a facility which plays host to International training events in addition to outstanding service and that recently won a national award for the best training center in the country, how could deciding which martial arts school to choose from be a difficult one? They are constantly training their staff to the absolute best. The owner, Mr. Lam, has an exceptional work ethic and pulls out the best from his students and his team. Fantastic experience: I have trained at PMA Leeds for a few years now and I think its fantastic! The facilities are outstanding and the instruction is brilliant. From the tiny 3 year olds through to the adults classes the instructors are great and the atmosphere is really friendly and vibrant. As a 3rd dan black belt there's still plenty to keep me interested. I have trained at A LOT of places in my 30 years in martial arts and this is by far the nicest, cleanest, best equipped place I've ever seen. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: The school started off great but has gone downhill. Now more interested in the money /business than quality of teaching. Classes cancelled at last min with no explanations. Classes too big. How can quality teaching be done with ratio of 1 to 40 plus? Such a shame as at 1 point I couldn't rate the school highly enough. The quality has been lost :(
