Fantastic experience: I’ve been here for number of years and seen the place grow , new staff new members, the original members , and it’s a super gym , cardio , free weights and machines choices a plenty no waiting , BUT any time of the day the music is just horrible ( unless you are ionr of the few who enjoy this !! ) call me a grumpy old man but I can’t train to this , and don’t aways wish to wear earphones , I enjoy every thing from country to hardcore dance and metal , now this is the only down side for . Don’t think it will ever change , but the gym is fantastic, opening times are very good also , plenty of food prep and drinks etc .

Fantastic experience: Really big fan of the ultraflex gyms, really good variety of equipment, to hit all muscle groups from multiple angles, would highly recommend training at this gym.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym with simple layout and one of the most extensive sets of equipment I’ve ever seen, all divided into body areas you are wanting to train. Changing rooms were immaculate didn’t use the showers but the area was again spotless, gym was spotless with loads of bins and cleaning stuff dotted about for convenience. There’s a good selection of supplements and single serve options behind the main counter, staff member who served me was polite and knowledgeable, and the gym in general had a very positive vibe to it. Will be using again very soon!

Fantastic experience: 24/7 gym would make this very helpful not only for myself but also additional members. We can understand 3-4am sometimes not being able to sleep gym can always be the best remedy for it.

Negative experience: The last time i went to this place, there was a bald guy at the reception with tattoos. I had walked in with a few friends and i had used my finger print to access the gym, as i was a member at this point. Whilst waiting for my friends to get a day pass, the receptionist singled me out and asked me to scan in again. I can see no other reason for this but that he was racist. I appreciate he wanted to be certain, but there are other ways of dealing with this. Even a more positive and nicer approach would have sufficed. If you are of an ethnic minority with some melanin, i would stay away from this gym. It was a horrible experience and I never went back, despite being a member.

Positive experience: Really good gym, a variety of different machines to work out on, friendly staff. The negatives are, working out in winter is very tough as it’s absolutely freezing and heaters are never on complained but nothing has been done. Also the minimum spend on card is annoying don’t know why they should be a minimum spend on card. The gym fees are very expensive. Hopefully it improves but overall it’s better than most gyms I’ve been too.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. It is never overcrowded and they encourage a friendly environment. I get loads of tips and it has helped improve my fitness, form and strength. Top-quality equipment that makes a huge difference as they are engineered to target the muscles at the optimal angles and positions. They encourage a respectful environment too with strict rules. The gym is always clean and tidy as a result with down-to-earth members. The staff and SUPER friendly and supportive too! Reasonably priced at £32/month and well worth it.

Fantastic experience: I trained here for 2 years but stopped for my own reasons but today I finally made it back and I'm glad for me it was hard to walk through them doors again but when I was in there I remember why I trained there, i can honestly say this is hands down the best gym and once you get to know the people here you will find that theh are all helpful. Best equipment by far and atmosphere to get you to your goals

Fantastic experience: This gym is known to be a body builder, man gym. But it has become very female friendly over the past couple of years. I train here with my friends and don’t get men mansplaining how to use the machines like I have had in a lot of other gyms. There is a lot of machines to choose from and if you are stuck on how to use it the staff are very helpful. Definitely would recommend

Fantastic experience: Used local gyms and when visiting Leeds had an impromptu session at the Leeds site on the recommendation of Ben and found the facilities clean and tidy and was shown around by Ben who was a very pleasant and personable representative

Positive experience: Gym is brilliant. The only problems are there’s not enough treadmills. Very small area for cardio. And the music that they play sometimes.. is horrendous. It’s a gym. Not a goth playhouse or a club ‍♂️

Negative experience: Been at this gym for a good couple of years and to get banned for not putting some weights back is pathetic! The thought of even going back makes me cringe knowing you can’t train in peace cause someone is constantly watching you on cameras

Fantastic experience: I've been here for 5 years now and it's the best investment I have made for my health, fitness and well-being. The staff are pretty awesome, they give good incentives especially after the lockdowns. The equipment is awesome there are enough pieces of equipment for the same body parts so you don't need to wait long either.

Fantastic experience: Love UltraFlex. Quality equipment, good music/vibe, nice community gym where you get to meet new people. Always preferred training at gyms where it has a old school bodybuilding atmosphere to them, I'm allergic to the commercial gyms lol Malika, Sarah, Callum and Reece are super cool staff and always provide welcoming and great service The proof is in the pudding.

Fantastic experience: The gym speaks for itself. It's Ultra. If you are serious about your training, then it really doesn't take much to realise this is the gym to go to. Any Ultra Flex gym in any of the good locations are going to beat any other gym you train at. Period. Be Ultra!

Fantastic experience: Great facility

Positive experience: It was my first time visiting today and it would be fair to say that I had a decent experience overall. There's an abundance of machines to use so you'll never be stood around waiting to have a turn. I went during a lunch break (12-1) and it was pretty quiet; I usually find busy gyms quite intimidating however I didn't feel that during my visit. The equipment is clean and clearly looked after. I had a brief conversation with the staff about my membership and they were friendly and welcoming. The music is a bit too loud and only had one genre playing (dance/b-lines) - a mix of genres would be nice. The hand sanitizer in the lobby area was also really sticky for some reason, not sure if this is intentional or just a lack of water in the solution. The monthly-rolling membership is slightly on the expensive side, (compared to places like Pure), however I'm happy to pay this as it not only helps out a local business, the equipment quality is clearly superior. To summarise: I will be returning to UltraFlex as I had a positive experience. The environment, cleanliness and quality of the place is what will keep bringing me back.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant all round gym, fitness classes, boxing, kick boxing, gym has upto 100kg weights, ideal for body builders to your total novices Also found out opposite in the overflow carpark a totally secret gem Allura Natures Spirit selling beautiful solid wood furniture all fully restored, now looking totally modern, fantastic hand made cushions, lampshades to match, Candles, re upholstered chairs all at very reasonable prices or they take your furniture to be restored to your specified requirements Huge car park Both well worth a visit

Fantastic experience: Great staff, very friendly and welcoming, always happy to have a conversation with the members unlike many other gyms that only take an interest in you if you are interested in becoming a client of their PT's. Equipment is undoubtedly the best and the classes they have (boxing) are with some of the most skilled trainers. I travel over 10 miles each way just to attend this gym even though I have several others much closer (JD's, Pure etc) but it is definitely worth the travel. The progression I have made at this gym is phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: In all honesty I came across a review about Sarah Jane Hemingway and it was the polar opposite to my experience with her and I felt that I HAD to give credit where it was due. I started training at ultra flex gym thanks to Sarah and her training, I have lost over 20kg...yes that’s right TWENTY. Not only did she support me physically but also mentally she got me through so many challenges and I’ll forever be grateful. I never thought that I could feel comfortable to train in a gym that’s not only male dominant but also filled with weight lifting professionals! I used to feel so intimidated, anxious and embarrassed and all of that changed thanks to her. It’s been almost a year since working with Sarah and she has supported me every step of the way. Training aside, she keeps the gym tidy and clean and she’s always working hard. I honestly couldn’t recommend her as a trainer or a manager more than enough.

Negative experience: One of the managers at Ultraflex gym by the name of Sarah Jane Hemingway she is a difficult character to deal with, she's hardwork, her communication skills are very poor, not good at resolving problems the simple way she never listens so its just pointless talking. Her boss need to review her job position.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, amazing machines and very clean. Most of the staff are great, happy and very helpful but 1 of the 'bigger' staff members is not much of a people person and only talks to you if your 'one of the big lads'. Highly recommended for all levels of fitness men and woman all ages. Has a huge floor of free weights and endless super modern machines, up stairs is a seperate large room for cardio, and also has tanning booths and hair dressers. Also plenty of health foods and supplements. Highly recommended.

Busy at times but so is every gym Paid for a year at another gym and I drive past it ( 20 minutes out of my way ) when I'm in the mood for a serious session and go straight to the lions den haha

Fantastic experience: One of the best equipped gyms in the country. This is the Disney land of gyms.

Negative experience: Way too cold in there to train, most of the guys where in fact wearing extra layers when training( not a drop of sweat in site), the ladies changing room freezing as well(felt like I was changing outside), showers not working. Cardio equipment too old and rusty, half not working properly...a real let down. The machines are really cool but way too cramped up, barely any space for a proper warm up even when it's half busy.

Positive experience: What a gym! By far the best around. Great atmosphere, friendly people, funky pumping music . The only thing that would be nice to see would be a boxing bag, maybe in the cardio area , It is the only thing that is missing that I can think of. I understand there is a boxing gym upstairs, but it isn't free to use. I'd happily change my review to five stars if one was added to the gym. Keep up the good work Ultraflex. Oh and the Ultraflex apparel is on point for men and women too
