Fantastic experience: We went to the lanesborough for lunch and it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff were very welcoming and gracious, and the food was lovely. We highly recommend it for a special occasion.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I came for the bridgerton afternoon tea. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful it was a lovely relaxing environment. The afternoon tea was perfect looked and tasted amazing. The bridgerton cocktail we had is also well worth trying I would highly recommend and could have stayed all day.

Fantastic experience: The Lanesborough Hotel truly does not disappoint. Situated in Knightsbridge, its imposing building looks and feels as grand as you would expect. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted politely with welcoming smiles and directed to the bar. The hotel exudes charm and class, enhancing the overall experience without making you feel out of place. The staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. One pleasant surprise was the bill—it was less than I expected for such a beautiful place. I’m eagerly looking forward to returning.

Fantastic experience: Had a cigar at the sampling room for my birthday- really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be coming back again! Staff were lovely and I even managed to see Lilibet Shame I couldn't take the cup I drank coffee from, it's beautiful just like the whole building and I collect coffee and teacups

Negative experience: This review is for the Garden Room, I previously had reviewed it but some how it was delete it. I will give them 5 stars because my drink was great, my husband enjoyed his Cuban Romeo and Julieta Churchill, the host was nice, our waiter was so great and helpful. However, the manager ( I think that's what he was) was condescending because we were taking pictures, he came over and told us we can take pictures as long other people in the room are not on the picture. Seriously?! Is that necessary?! He ruined his birthday celebration for him.

Fantastic experience: The Bridgerton Afternoon Tea. What can I say, just superb. The beautiful setting, fantastic service, truly delicious scones and sandwiches, topped off with a wonderful selection of the most incredibly tasty little work of art cakes, made the whole experience one that will always stand out in my experience. The Lanesborough itself is like a wonderful oasis of calm in the midst of the ever busy and constantly noisy London Metropolis. Would happily return for a repeat anytime.

Negative experience: Afternoon tea... hugely disappointing. Whilst the food was good the standard of service was well below what I expected from a hotel like the Lanesborough. There was a casual attitude between some of the staff. We were addressed as 'guys' and the waiter felt it appropriate to use the word 'fart' in conversation. When presented with the bill we waited over 10 minutes and had to ask to pay so that we could leave. Bridgerton Tea was very poorly themed and lacked any atmosphere. All in all a poor experience. Save your money and visit the Langham or the Ritz where they know about discreet and polished service.

Fantastic experience: I went there for three times and the most satisfying experience I had when I met Lilly and the people working there was so much kind and being so nice. From the doormen to the people working at the reception desk. First twice visits were not that successful to meet her but finally I did this visit. I totally recommend this hotel from all aspects location and service. My next trip will be definitely stay there.

Fantastic experience: I met with my friend in their lounge, the Withdrawing Room. Super nice welcoming service from door to table and beyond. I had an apricot green tea I have never tried before and enjoyed it very much. And also a delicious chocolate mousse. Exquisite room with elegant furnishings boosted our good mood. What's more, I had a chance to see a cat who lives there. . I am grateful to all the staff who talked to us, making us welcome and comfortable. Really, N1. P.S. This is not the first time I was at the Lanesborough. I had lunch in the Grill, afternoon tea for one of my birthdays, and my daughter's wedding there... And always it was special. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: A very beautiful afternoon spent with my Dad celebrating his 80th birthday! He got special treatment when he was presented with a handwritten card and a mini cake with a candle! My Dad was overjoyed that they went to that effort! All the staff were polite, professional and efficient. The food was amazing and the patisserie was professionally crafted! We loved it all! We’d chosen coffee to start with which was delicious, and then went to try the afternoon tea blend. I would definitely return again as the standard of service was high and the room had a fabulous atmosphere with music in the background!

Fantastic experience: I came here for Bridgerton afternoon tea, and it was a delightful experience. Everything was exceptional. Highly recommend making a reservation and trying it. I was shocked they charged for water though. I ended up spending $18 for water which was very disappointing and shocking. They seemed to add on an extra charge £2 I’m not sure if this was for the nuts I didn’t ask for. Either way be careful of what you order. I ended up spending $200 for the Bridgerton afternoon tea and a drink at the Liberty Bar.

Fantastic experience: Went for the three course set lunch as a treat for a friend and were treated like royalty. The food was excellent as was the service and ambience. Couldn't fault the place. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We attended the hotel for the Bridgerton Afternoon tea a few weeks back, which was lovely. When we left, it was pouring down with rain, which was unexpected and neither of us had a coat or umbrella. The door staff were simply excellent. One immediately handed us an umbrella to use and take away with us. It really is the little things. Brilliant service. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: I visited The Lanesborough briefly last night for a business function & private dining, and was blown away. I’ve visited hundreds of hotels & the best restaurants around the world, and nothing compares. The building, location & facilities are stunning as you’d expect, but it’s the staff that truly make it. From the chap on the door doing valet parking, reception, concierge & waiting staff, everyone was warm and friendly whilst still very professional. There’s clearly a culture in this place that money cannot buy, and is best experienced first hand. In 3 hours the team at the Lanesborough found a place in my heart for years to come, I hope to return under my own steam with my wife one day so she can experience the magic.

Fantastic experience: We had the Bridgerton afternoon tea this week and it was a beautiful experience. Our servers were all very attentive especially Mike. I’m a savory person so I definitely gravitated towards the sandwiches (the truffle egg sandwich was my favorite!) and my husband loves sweets…he couldn’t get enough of the “Book of Eloise” :) The tea room alone is enough to book but the foods and service was even more exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon tea.

Fantastic experience: I went for the cigar terace. It's called the garden room and it was amazing. The service is top tier. The menu for cigars it elite and the vibe is perfect. The rooms at this hotel and the hotel itself is of high quality. There is valet parking also which makes arriving and leaving seamless.

Positive experience: Tries to be something it's not. A good hotel but there are many more exclusive and high end hotels in central London that are far better.

Positive experience: Afternoon tea service could have been better. Gorgeous room but would have loved if more decorative teacups and saucers were used, instead of plain all white. Especially to go along with the bridgerton theme. They also should have used real flowers on the sandwich/dessert trays instead of fake, and had an actual pianist playing music.

Positive experience: The hotel is conveniently located and the decor is superb. The meet and greet at the door and thereafter was great. We attended The Bridgerton Afternoon Tea. The Lanesborough Tea Blend was splendid and the cakes had excellent attention to detail. However, the service fell slightly short of the standard you would expect of such a luxury hotel. Also, given the tea was £85pp, we would have expected more attentiveness such as someone carrying trays of extra sandwiches as they do in similar high end afternoon teas in Mayfair. It was difficult to flag someone down for extra items. We were left waiting for minutes not because staff were inundated. The venue was not particularly teeming. It was because staff were rarely about, although they did not seem short staffed either. Tea was poured when it had not steeped. No additional cutlery or plates were provided when switching from sandwiches to pastries. Or from cakes/pastries to scones. The pastries were however, exceptionally made. A delicious and delicate balance. Light yet mouth watering. Not too sweet, not too sharp and, not too bland. Just perfect and clearly made with finite attention to detail. As afternoon tea connoisseurs, this is probably the first time we have complete an entire pastries/cake course. With barely a crumb left! Their French chef is clearly working as a part time magician! The cost for the entire affair came in at £206 and this could be excessive to some. Given the service fell short, we would argue the cost was not justified. In comparison to The Dorchester we have frequented, we have been checked in on regularly. Would you like any more sandwiches? Anything else? Sadly, that was not the case here and we had to ask. The difference between good service and great service is, with great service you’re waited on without feeling intruded on. The staff are within reach but not overbearing. Good service is merely service with a smile as was the case with our visit. Upon departure, once again, concierge staff were friendly and, we appreciated them hailing a taxi for us. Would we visit again though? With the staffing falling short in the tea room and the cost, we would be unlikely to visit. Sadly, the highly praised Bridgerton experience online by other reviewers is slightly lacking. The decor echoes Bridgerton blue, the menu is Whistledown approved but, that is all. There is no Bridgerton music or other hints of Bridgerton. It is a shame as this would complete the experience!

Positive experience: The Bridgerton afternoon tea was a disappointment. There was no music and the only relation to the Bridgerton hype was the faux silk flowers around the cake stands and beautiful printed menus with each cake assigned a Bridgerton name. Could not fault the service - the waiters were very attentive but did not offer to replenish the sandwiches until we were eating the sweets. The scones were uncooked although the cocktails offered were lovely. My review is based on the whole Bridgerton themed afternoon tea which sadly was very much lacking. We had a lovely time because of the company that I was with not because of the afternoon tea. Advertise as afternoon tea and not under the pretence of a Bridgerton themed tea! Very disappointing for the price and a con!

Negative experience: Asked the man working at the door (bald with glasses) for directions, only to be cut off and ignored… his face told me I was a nuisance. I’m a young woman visiting England that was struggling to get back to my accommodation, at night! And he knew all of this. Thought it would be a safe space asking a luxury hotel employee for directions. I get the strong impression he is only nice to guests. I was sober, kind and dressed well. I don’t believe he was a doorman but another employee standing outside.

Fantastic experience: Everything is beautiful. Not necessary to mention that. Also not necessary to mention the price. You know what you’re getting into. If you’re a open window sleeper, don’t get the Regency Suites. They are right onto Londons loud traffic madness. First pictures are a regency suite, last is a room under the roof. Now: it’s missing a bit the vibes of the mothership, the Bristol in Paris. There you almost have the feeling, you’re in a family run place. But it’s understandable that the flagship, with all its historic past, gets the best staff, the best care and the best chefs.

Fantastic experience: We spent Christmas Eve here and often come to the Lanesborough for drinks. It is an oasis of hospitality and peace in the center of London. I will never forget how one of the porters walked with me through the rain to help a man who had gotten unconscius. The staff is as professional, kind, caring and amazing as it can get.

Negative experience: The Brigerton tea is a rip off. Three young teenager girls hoping for a fun experience got scammed. 85 pounds each for a few sandwiches, a brigerton style tea " experience" and some scones. Then service was added on. 300 pounds and three teenage girls walked out hungry and disappointed..... A gimmick through and through So see a show instead...

Fantastic experience: The tea time was superb. I brought my mother as we were visting from Canada. We had a gentleman of a server called John. Service was impeccable. Would highly recommend and would return on next visit to London.

Negative experience: I had lunch with family and friends today. While the food was tasty, the experience was marred by some unfortunate incidents. After sitting on a chair, I stood up to find both legs of my tights ripped, and I had scratched my leg. Additionally, at the end of our meal, we were charged £95 per person, even though only two of the four of us drank champagne. Overall, it wasn't the most pleasant experience. There are better places with higher level of service in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: The Bridgerton Afternoon Tea was one of the best I've ever experienced in London and I've done a lot of teas in London. The staffs were attentive and very pleasant. The afternoon tea sandwiches were delicious especially the Truffle egg mayo. The Book of Eloise (blue) was my favourite sweets on this occasion. Bottomless tea/coffee. Optional champagne. Everything was great!

Fantastic experience: The Afternoon Tea was delightful, I appreciated that you could order as much food as you wanted for a fixed price. The waiters behaved impeccably. I just wish the chocolate sweets were less sweet, it took a bit out of the natural taste. But overall a lovely experience with a Regency era feel.

Fantastic experience: I reserved eating at The Lanesborough last Saturday with my mom. As fans of Bridgerton series, we took the Queen Charlotte Afternoon Tea vegan, which was divine, sweet and succulent. We were impressed by the beauty of the place, the taste of the dishes and the kindness of the staff. They are welcoming and understanding. Fantastic experience: Afternoon tea was delicious and the service throughout was superb. A group of girlfriends that catch up once a year we chose afternoon tea to celebrate a new baby arriving soon and we were treated wonderfully by the staff. Mario was our server for afternoon tea and really treated us beautifully. He made a note of our celebration and sang and presented a little cake with a candle. The food was delicious and setting was wonderful so I highly recommend and we will definitely be back! If you want a treat with impeccable service then look no further than The Lainsborough. Fantastic experience: I took my friend to The Lanesborough for the Queen Charlotte Afternoon Tea as a 40th birthday treat. The hotel is beautiful and grand, but not at all pretentious. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Mario was especially charming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the added bonus we didn’t expect was that the tea and sandwiches were unlimited. We had a wonderful time enjoying our tea (we tried the Lanesborough Breakfast and Queen Charlotte blends; both lovely), and food in the beautiful dining room, with a pianist setting the scene. The atmosphere was lovely and we didn’t want to leave. We left comfortably full and the staff boxed up our leftovers to enjoy at home. Also a special nod to the Queen Charlotte cocktail, which went down a treat. This felt a truly special experience and I highly recommend. Thank you to The Lanesborough team for a wonderful afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Had such a wonderful lunch here. It was for our anniversary and they were so kind. The hotel is lovely inside, I have never been to such a place before. Next time we go, we will have to try the afternoon tea.

Positive experience: Afternoon tea at The Lanesborough is a delight and all the staff we encountered were all exceptional. The cocktails were sublime and we all loved the salmon sandwiches and scones. The patisseries were beautiful however a tad too sweet for us. Took off one star as we were seated in a dark corner and I had booked a number of weeks in advance as it was my birthday treat. It would have been great to have been seated somewhere with a little more lighting or the main atrium as it was a significant birthday and we were a small group. BUT I would come here again as the staff really made our time at The Lanesborough special - top class service for everyone and the surrounds are sublime too!

Fantastic experience: We had the lunch set menu at the Lanesborough Grill and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding, Raffaella was exceptional and the rest of the service team made our experience perfect today. The food was absolutely delicious, congratulations to the kitchen team as well. Would definitely recommend and return :)

Fantastic experience: This beautiful hotel and hospitality of all staff was wonderful . If you ever want to feel like a royal and have an experience of living like a king or queen or prince or princess you surely will feel that at this wonderful hotel. I highly recommend if you do not stay at this high end hotel to try if you can to have tea time with a friend or loved one and just enjoy the experience that you will never forget.

Fantastic experience: We went for Sunday Roast. The restaurant is beautiful, it is elegant and it is unique. Probably the former greenhouse. We enjoyed a beautiful day with nice light. The service by Georgiana was impeccable. Every course has six options. We ordered the salmon with roe and the rissotto. Best rissotto I ever had, it was smooth and creamy. Then we had the roast sirloin of hereford beef and the beef wellington, just delicious. They came with a side of beautiful crunchy potatoes, broccolini, carrots and greens. The sauce with truffles for the meat was sublime. Dessert was lemon tart and apple muscovado and thyme pudding. They even served pralines at the end. Highly recommend the wine pairing.

Fantastic experience: On my 30th birthday my husband surprised me with a visit to the Lanesborough for afternoon tea and what a special treat it was. We arrived a little early for our reservation so started off with a cocktail in the library bar where l had a gentle twinkle - elderflower liqueur, vodka, lemongrass and champagne. The waiter explained the process of making our cocktails and also provided a spoon for me to eat the edible flower! The whole experience was total luxury. The friendliest and most personable staff who couldn't do enough for you, we were treated so well. At no point did we feel rushed or looked over, yet the service was so attentive. The afternoon tea is based on the Bridgerton series; served in the Lanesborough Grill, a beautiful room that felt so classic and fresh. My tea of choice was the vanilla and rhubarb. Onto the sandwiches - I'm not usually a coronation chicken fan but these tasted amazing. We had refills of our favourites and were also offered a second refill but wanted to get to the cakes. The presentation of the cakes were some of the best l've ever seen and all tasted incredible. The picky side of me would have preferred more variety with the texture of the cakes, they were all very similar with the biscuit base and creamy top. The scones served wrapped up warm with clotted cream, jam AND lemon curd! And to finish it all off, they brought me a complimentary happy birthday cake. The price point is at the higher end of the scale but this is truly an exquisite afternoon tea experience and I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Fantastic experience: I went for my mums birthday. The afternoon tea was lovely and my mum was given a birthday card which I thought was very thoughtful of Lanesborough.

Fantastic experience: We went to the spa after touching down from an international flight since we landed early morning and couldn’t check into our hotel until mid afternoon. While booking the reservation was tricky to say the least (they kept sending a payment link we never received, then gave away our reservation as we were arriving since they hadn’t received payment) they fit us in and made us feel right at home. The spa rooms are absolutely stunning and they have everything you could possibly need including tea, water, light snacks, robes, flip flops- you name it. While we don’t usually feel like spa treatments are all that different from spa to spa, the location, atmosphere and service here were excellent. Hyuong and Crina were very attentive. We had lunch in our robes in the spa dining area and while the food was nothing to write home about the juices and health shots were really good. The Hydrospa and Spa Lounge are mixed so my husband and I spent most of our time there. The treatment rooms were gorgeously decorated and I received a rosy pregnancy massage while my husband did the mud wrap and in the afternoon we had the Happy Hair treatment. We finished our loitering with a trip to the Tea Room for the Queen Charlotte Tea. This place is a maze and we were fortunate the Lanesborough staff is thoughtful and attentive. They helped us carry our luggage and navigate from the entrance near the underground stop to the spa and back to the tea room in the afternoon. They even called our cab when we left. Lovely non-stay. Would highly recommend their spa if you don’t mind a lil splurge.

Fantastic experience: The food was incredible, the staff were phenomenal, it's just a shame one of the guests was rude. The hotel cat is such a great addition and you can bring your dogs to stay oh I loved that!! But I suspect not into the restaurant.

Fantastic experience: The afternoon tea was a stunner! The turkey sandwich was delicious,the scones and cakes were all as good as they looked, the Queen Charlotte tea blend was my personal favorite. It doesn't look like you think you will be full up , you will be! It is not cheap no, is it an experience,yes! Topped off with a live pianist playing while you eat, especially for Christmas it makes it feel very special.

Fantastic experience: Faultless Service (was here for lunch) and beautifully presented food. I suppose I am just a food philistine because there was so little of it. I mean... just the one sprout with my turkey and two small slices of a roast potato. Seriously.

Fantastic experience: Our recent impromptu visit to The Lanesborough was a delightful stroke of luck. With about an hour and a half to spare before an event, we decided to pop into one of my favourite spots in London for a coffee, and as always, it never disappoints. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the most charming Christmas decorations – a true festive treat for the eyes. But, what really made our visit stand out was the wonderful staff. They were fantastic, striking that perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing, even amidst the bustling atmosphere. A special mention must go to how they interacted with my daughter, who, armed with our camera, became the most enthusiastic impromptu photographer. The staff’s encouragement and warmth towards her were heartwarming and added a sprinkle of extra joy to our visit. In short, The Lanesborough was the perfect choice for our unexpected break. It’s not just the elegant surroundings or the delicious coffee that makes this place special; it’s the people who bring it to life. A big thank you to everyone there for making our brief stopover so memorable. I guess it’s true what they say – sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones!

Fantastic experience: Amazing hotel & venue for the Queen Charlotte Festive Afternoon Tea - and the hotel looked very festive on arrival ! Service throughout excelled. Savouries and tea flavours were all excellent, cakes a little sweet for me but my partner loved all. The cocktail option alongside the dining was delicious - so we stayed a little while later to sample a couple of different cocktails in the bar area.... Would recommend the experience to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I visited here for a drink at the Library Bar - the champagne cocktails were lovely as was the addition of the table snacks. The only slight downside would be the location of our table as it was very much in the way of the waiters and waitresses. In addition the flowers were plastic which is a personal gripe of mine! I do enjoy a visit for a cocktail! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Came for a lovely afternoon tea for my anniversary. The service was excellent as were the sandwiches. The cakes were beautiful but weren’t to my taste. It’s a very lovely hotel and you will enjoy the afternoon tea in spectacular surroundings.

Fantastic experience: For my birthday, I went there for the Queen Charlotte afternoon tea and it was magical. The ambiance was elegant, a classic decor. The tea selection was nice and simple. The tiered serving platter was a visual treat with delicious sandwiches, warm scones, and exquisite desserts. The attention to detail was outstanding. The service was impeccable. The staffs were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring a memorable visit.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I attended Lanesborough afternoon tea for our Anniversary celebration. From entering the hotel, the welcoming porters, helpful receptionist until we got seated, everyone we came across had a smile was welcoming and pleasant. The location is intimate with a lovely atrium. "Andrea" who was our host was very professional, polite and knowledgable with great recommendations. The food was delicious with a diverse selection of sandwiches, each had a unique lovely taste. The scones were warm, fresh and very light served with clotted cream and delicious preserves. Dessert selection was unique, had delicate taste and look which was very much aligned with Queen Charlotte theme. There was a live pianist which was a lovely touch. The tea selection was flavoursome, piping hot with the tea server prompt. We were pleasantly surprised by the hand written Anniversary card and a complimentary pastry. Finally at the end of our wonderful afternoon tea Andrea handed us the a packet of seeds to plant in the garden which was a kind gesture and completed the delightful experience. We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our anniversary not just because of the high standard of the afternoon tea but also importantly the quality of the service and general positive attitude of the staff. We regularly go for Afternoon tea and the Lanesborough has really set a high standard on a par if not better then the others. A must do experience to celebrate your special day.

Positive experience: Everything was alright... Some of the staff forgot about us and we had to wait roughly 20 minutes for butter.. but it was very busy that day so I understand that it can be very exhausting. Other than that the rest was very nice ♡ ( Tea time )

All the staff from from the door, reception and restaurant were, as you would expect, extremely friendly, helpul and proffessional. Fantastic experience: What a stunning hotel and building. We were only here for dinner but what lovely experience. Daniel and Thomas, in the Grill were so attentive and we were celebrating my birthday and they gave me a card which was very thoughtful. We have a delicious meal and the cheese board was to die for such an array of cheeses to choose from. I have lovely glass of port to accompany my cheese which paired beautifully. If we ever have the opportunity to stay I'd be very happy and I wouldn't hesitate to eat at the Grill again either.

Fantastic experience: Such a cool experience, Afternoon Tea here is a must for visiting London! The room is stunning, the staff are so kind and helpful with tea recommendations. The food is beautifully put together and tastes incredible. An array of sandwiches and desserts and so many teas to pick from. Truly a beautiful experience and worth the amount!

Fantastic experience: Amazing afternoon tea. Everything tasted fresh. The scones were soft. The sandwiches felt tender on the palate. The bathroom was very clean.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful waitress at the cafe, as were all other staff. I felt very comfortable and welcomed there. We also got to meet Lilibet, the resident cat! The pastries were homemade and tasted devine.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of cigars and whisky with an amazing atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and friendly and will give you a small tour of their superb cigar selection. A must for cigar smokers visiting London to go and enjoy.

Fantastic experience: This was the best stay I've ever had at The Lanesborough, and unquestionably, the best in London. The hotel reopened after the pandemic with a new vigour, staff have 'spring in their step' and theirs a renewed sense of thoughtful, friendly hospitality. Every single aspect of my 4-day stay was enjoyable.
