Fantastic experience: I should really be saying this gym is terrible because I want to keep this gem of a place all to myself, but it deserves every second of praise. I left a leisure centre gym earlier this year as it was making me hate going to the gym, after searching online I decided to go for a tour of Jetts and I loved it the second I walked in. The difference in quality shocked me and made me think why did I spend so long going to a gym that made me miserable! The gym is clean, well looked after, loads of quality equipment maintained to a high standard and things are quickly fixed when broken. On top of that, it’s well lit and well decorated which you wouldn’t think makes a difference but when you go from those horrible yellow overhead lights and beige walls to awesome neons & walls painted with motivational quotes it gets your head in the game. Changing rooms being individual with spacious showers & heated floors is a great touch, and I’ve not used them yet but having GHD straighteners and hair dryer is just that bit extra. The staff are lovely and every time I go I’m greeted by all of them with a smile and asked how I’m getting on with my training, they’re all more than happy to give me tips and tricks to excel in my workouts. In fact the second day I went back they remembered my name which it’s the little things that make you feel valued as a customer. The car park is small but I’ve never had an issue with parking and I go 5-6pm week days, the one time I couldn’t find a space I parked in Morrisons which is a 2 min walk. Speaking of going at 5-6pm, it’s never too busy in fact most of the time in the weights section I find it just me and 3-4 other people. Grateful for this gym and how it’s made me fall in love with training all over again and all I can think about now is I can’t wait to go back tomorrow ✌

Fantastic experience: Me and my friend have been going here for 2 years nearly. The friendliest team ever, always so welcoming and helpful. Lots of nice personal touches and always improving the equipment. Definitely recommend to all ages.

Negative experience: - Children under 16 running around unsupervised. - General manager is allowing his kids and mates to come free of charge. - Loads mismatching plates in strength room. - Weights always left on machines or floor for the next person to clean up. - You can't get the 20kg+ plates on the sides of the squat rack because they squeeze the rack up to the wall to save space. Obviously not testing the functionality of the equipment after moving it. - Unfriendly staff on Sundays just glued to their mobile phones. Unless you're one of the staff's friends or paying for a PT service they do not care about you.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, as a female sometimes it’s quite intimidating especially when training in the early hours of 0400 but feel very safe, such an amazing vibe, people are happy to help should you need it and when in the staffed hours the staff have helped me on numerous occasions with technique and setting things up as I’m just starting to find my feet with the machines! Would recommend even as a newbie to the gym setting.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Portsmouth hands down! I have just recently become a member and I'm loving it here already. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful and always there for a chat. Plenty of good equipment hack squat leg press and free weights. Looking forward to the future training here

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place, after too many years away from a gym I decided it was time to start again and joined with my son, starting again from scratch is always daunting and something nobody looks forward to, but from day 1, this was a different experience. Never have I been in a gym so down to earth and friendly, and when you get to know the staff and owners you can see why, because the gym is just an extension of all of them, people go so far out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome, there’s some great classes and the facilities are excellent and always kept clean, tidy and in good order. This gym is a bit of a hidden gem and I selfishly didn’t really want to write a review because I wanted it to stay a hidden gem, but the owners and staff deserve better than that. So here’s a massive thanks to all of you at Jetts for what you create on a daily basis.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Jetts for a couple of years now. The recent refurb has really improved the feel of the gym, it's much more than your usual 24 hour place! All of the staff are really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to give you advice or a pep talk to get you motivated (much appreciated ) The equipment is decent and plentiful, I could count on one hand the amount of times I've had to wait to use something. The physio is also brilliant, sorted my shoulder injury which had troubled me for a while. I honestly think they've smashed it with Jetts, I don't know of any other gyms quite like it. Solid 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best gym I have been to. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel part of the family. Always there to help and support when it's needed. Not only do they care about your personal fitness journey but they also care about you in general. Very community based, equiptment is on point and clean. Classes are amazing and they offer a saturday class to non members too. 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Jetts is a fantastic community gym, all staff focus on offering a wonderful experience to all members - it caters to elite athletes and those starting out on their fitness journey and the atmosphere within the gym is something to be admired. The equipment is great and Jetts Portsmouth offer a multitude of classes to assist everyone in their own seperate goals! I've been at Jetts for a number of years now and I'm very happy with how the space is growing into a more community focused gym and bringing people together. They're the only gym I know of that offers classes to non members - that should tell you everything you need to know about their community spirit

Positive experience: Nicely set up gym with a good variety of equipment, friendly staff on hand to help. Would be 5 stars if they had the full selection of technogym sessions available on the cardio machines.

Negative experience: Great place, great team.. really claim to Harbour a family like gym environment. 2 years ago I forgot to cancel my membership by mistake, while I used a new gym. Money was still being taken from my account. When I spoke to somebody, after willing to show evidence I was paying out a second gym membership, they still refused to pay back approx £250+ of un used membership fees. Family environment close nit community will be boasted. If finances are involved, expect no sympathy.

Positive experience: I love the staff and the equipment but have a couple of gripes, particularly recently; 1. there is very, very limited parking, so much so that at 5pm it's impossible to find a space. 2. I have noticed the lack of chalk in the lifting room recently, this was a lovely touch that I hadn't seen at other gyms. I'm posting this as I'm considering changing gyms now and feel you deserve the feedback

Fantastic experience: Always loved the gym but since gaining a lot of weight my confidence in myself has dropped. But having access to a 24hr gym is amazing as you can get on with your workout without fear of being judged by others.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, spotlessly clean and everything you need and much more! All Cardio machines are fully ‘teched’ up allowing you to connect your phone and watch TV/Youtube and stuff. Membership is rolling monthly and can pull out at any time, 24 hours is handy for night shifts. Staff are awesome, always so welcoming anything’s any trouble, from advice, spotting or just a general chit chat. Top gym. Love this place
