Box Gym Fitness

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of boxgymfitness for over 4 years and have just ended my membership as I am moving country. I cannot recommend this place enough, I have attended over 400 classes at box gym and although I have tried other fitness classes/reformer Pilates/running, I have always kept up my membership and classes here. The sessions are great and cater to every fitness level, but it is the trainers, receptionists and people that make this place. They are so welcoming and friendly and I have made so many friends over the past few years attending classes here. Want to give a massive shoutout to Mike. In an industry that can focus so much on food and aesthetic it is so so refreshing to go to classes that focus solely on improving fitness and strength, rather than hearing things like ‘work that takeaway you had last night’ or mentions of summer bodies. He’s skilled in recalling people’s level, pushing members to progress by putting heavier weights next to you and personalising pad work to fit the level you are at. I will miss pad work with him very much! Box gym is great for working through any mood, it’s a great workout and the fact that it’s fairly dark in there you can just concentrate on what your doing and your workout. I will greatly miss coming here and seeing the lovely people that work at bgf and the members. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic experience: Today I had my first class and I honestly can’t wait to go back! On arrival the team showed me all the facilities and clearly explained how the class would work, making sure I had everything I needed. During the class the instructor made sure I understood what I should be doing and also that I was doing it properly - she was absolutely brilliant and made me feel so comfortable! Music was on point - such a fun atmosphere to train in! I would recommend anyone to get down and try it if you haven’t already you won’t be disappointed !!

Negative experience: My experience this morning was absolutely awful - never seen such poor customer service. It was my first day at the studio for a free trial class. Receptionist was very unwelcoming, arrogant, argumentative, defensive and unhelpful. I later spoke to one of the business partners - he also had the same attitude. Very poor communication and customer service skills. Very arrogant and ignorant with no value for customers… what a poor way of conducting a business - I will not be back.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many of the classes here and found them to be really well organised, The trainers explain the routines very well and the music and lights help create a great buzz. I cant wait till you are back open as I have a lot of work to do before the summer.....
