Everlast Gyms Rotherham

Negative experience: After tragically losing my dad in June this year i contacted the gym in July to cancel my dads membership and the staff member said we will cancel and there will be no further charges. Now since October 1 the direct debit somehow restarted and we have been charged twice. I then contacted customer services and now they are asking for a copy of death certificate.. Unbelievable

Fantastic experience: A great gym, good level and standard of equipment, reasonably easy to get in machines even when busy and decent staff too. Have to recommend the PT ‘Tom’ always willing to give advice when asked and great for PT sessions, highly recommend him

Negative experience: In terms of equipment the gym is great but it has multiple issues that make it unbearable, the music is not only terrible but the speakers are so loud you can't hear the people Ur training with it feels like being in a club not a gym and another issues is the temperature, there is visible Aircon units in the gym but you don't feel them at all the gym is always absolutely boiling. I wish I had known this before getting my membership as I am now stuck in a 1 year contract at a gym I don't wanna be at I would recommend going to JD or the gym group over this 1

Fantastic experience: Only been here just over 1 week now. As soon as I came for a visit, I had to join. The gym smells clean and is clean due to cleaners working all the time. The vast range of equipment means you can always find something to use. The staff are motivated and upbeat, and classes are only 30 mins but are so structured that they test you and are hard, and changing rooms are realy good. I started at Fitness 1st which became Energie that become I - Motion, and when that closed we all went to JD's which I was getting fed up with.........this is better than any gym I've been in.....if you come for a look round, you'll end up becoming a member because it's that good ! !

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Everlast Gym (Parkgate), and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. From my first enquiry about the gym prior to joining with the general manager Katie through to welcome calls the week before it actually opened they were very patient and very helpful answering any questions I had. I booked a tour of the gym at a time that suited me and again upon arrival not only were they expecting me but they gave me a full tour of the gym explaining the various workout areas, machines/equipment, and reasoning for the layout of the gym and were happy to reassure me of any questions I had. This gym offers an exceptional combination of facilities, equipment and a welcoming environment each morning as soon as you open the door, and very helpful friendly staff that makes working out a truly enjoyable experience. Prior to joining Everlast I was a member of UltraFlex for over 7 years and whole can say the atmosphere at Everlast is much more friendly, the gym is cleaner, the early opening hours better suit me, the facilities are better and the staff are friendlier and approachable + happy to help. I have no regrets in joining. Having trained here since it opened I feel I can leave a very positive review, the staff there have created a fantastic environment for members. Special shout out to Katie & Ollie

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing gym! Fallen back in love with training again thanks to this place, after losing motivation in another local gym. Staff are so friendly welcoming you and making the classes fun for all. There to push you and also provide alternative exercises if needed. Excellent range of classes for all, equipment is fab, and just a great vibe. Shakes are also tasty at the bar too Regan, Ollie & Jacob’s early morning classes are fab

Fantastic experience: Joined here 51 unfit and fat with arthritis and recent pacemaker never been in a Gym until now, the members are friendly and all different shapes and levels. Liam one of the instructors is very good and helpful and understanding and reminds me of jack Whitehall! Great Gym!

Fantastic experience: Joined this incredible gym from day 1. Was won over by the amount of great equipment and the size of the place. Most of all i love the vibe created by the staff, who are so friendly and there to help in any way. The classes are also superb and full of energy and enthusiasm. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is tired of broken down machines and lack of staff presence on the gym floor.

Positive experience: Great equipment, enough stations, quite busy at times, a couple of staff members need some further training, can be quite rude, others are great and very friendly

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of a few gyms in my 50+ lifetime and have always rated them highly. I joined Everlast Gym Parkgate at the beginning of April 2024 as it opened, well I have found my fitness heaven not only is the atmosphere fantastic but you really can feel the hard work being put in by the Gym family of every shape, size male and female. You are welcomed EVERY single time by the most amazing Team and that camaraderie extends to and includes every person that steps through the doors and in doing so every single person extends that to each other new and existing. I have never been anywhere that no matter what your age or ability everyone talks and offers advice or are just happy to chat now to the classes KJ, Liam, Jacob and Tom put us through our paces pushing us to limits that I never thought I could reach and I bloody love it. The equipment is clean and up-to-date there's a smoothie and coffee bar ( heaven) there's always someone around to give support and advice. If you are looking to join a gym either for the first time or you're disenchanted by your current one I cannot recommend this place highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly place. All the staff greet you and ask how you are. The classes are great, need more of them on at the same time as the classes get filled up they listen to what their members want parking is ok and traffic ok too. Lovely drinks
