Fantastic experience: Old school gym. Mish mash of equipment but I love this kind of gym. Only been during the daytime when it's very quiet so can't comment on the evenings, but if I lived in the area I'd train here no problem

Fantastic experience: Nice gym, plenty of equipment (cardio, weight machines and free weights) and not to busy, easy to park. Lots of hand sanitizer on the machines and it's clean in this covid era. Oh and it's nice and light! Been to plenty of gyms where it feels like your in a dungeon.

Negative experience: Yesterday, I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of what I believe to be the owner of Gym unity. I am a pure gym member and was experiencing the new gym recently opened at Imperial Park, Lichfield. As I was exiting the gym, I witnessed a 4x4 driving erratically to the gym entrance to which the driver jumped out and introduced himself as the owner of Gym Unity, and started threatening innocent Pure Gym staff, telling them he was going to 'Petrol Bomb' the new gym due to an advertising vehicle working around the area! This is appalling behaviour and a terrifying ordeal for any person just carrying out a days work! What is more appalling is that I witnessed a 'Gym Unity' advertising vehicle actually parked on Pure Gyms car park on the opening day, a couple of days before, on which I attended, hence I saw this bully as a hypocrite! Not impressed in the slightest
Dear Matty, Thanks for your review. Firstly we should praise your creative writing skills, you must be the person behind the pricing page on pure gyms website. On the basis you have managed to drop in the name and address of Pure gym into your review we suspect this Is just another cheap shot from a national on an independent village gym. This does sound like quite the event, we would love to see some footage of this, be it CCTV, Mobile phone or anything capable of filming this terrifying ordeal. You fail to mention your employer (pure gym) is on a huge retail park with other businesses such as Lidl, Costa coffee and is a shared car park. We run a few sign written vehicles including a van we use for transporting equipment between our two sites Lichfield and Burton, we all live locally and like others we enjoy going for a coffee, on the day you mention seeing a vehicle one of the team was enjoying his morning coffee when a pure gym lorry pulled up, and parked in the middle of the road to block his van from view. He was in the end space and Pure parked in the middle of the road blocking pedestrians and disabled access - we did ask him why and he said he had been ordered to cover our vehicle. We can supply evidence of this and did on our social media as again we were being attacked by this national chain. We know many free lance fitness trainers who have sign written vehicles who park on the site to visit Costa or Lidl however they have not been singled out like we were and there vehicle blocked in. Further more the pictures do show the vehicle was parked as far away as possible from Poor gym. We do not visit this Costa anymore as were subjected to (in the style of a football chant) "wheres your members gone" by some of your colleagues and possibly you. Can you guys please just leave us alone now as this bullying and slander is just ridiculous, we have asked several times. This is a page to leave genuine reviews of our facility and you have used it to advertise your gyms name and location. You have created your review, we have the right to reply so lets just leave this now - if you have anything further to add please Direct message us and we will put you in contact with our solicitors. We will not stoop to your levels and leave you a 1 star review. We will continue to rack up 5 star reviews (from actual users) as Lichfield areas largest and lowest cost 24 hour gym based, you guys should concentrate your efforts in doing the same.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in lichfield and Burton. Great equipment constantly being renewed. All the staff are friendly and it has a great easy going feel to it. Ben is a wealth of knowledge regarding training and diet. No need to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: A great gym with new equipment coming in all the time. Not bad pricing either for what you get. There are regular classes going on and a boxing room. You can now also connect your phone to the treadmills which is great. Can't wait too see what else is yet to come.

Fantastic experience: What a great gym!!!! What gym can you go too and the owner remembers exactly who you are, even after a long period of absence (YES I FEEL BAD) The management team here are 1st class. Maybe some of the larger chain gyms should take note. The main rooms of the gym are located on the first floor of the building accessed via the stairs or lift, fom the main entrance. There are four work out rooms, in which you will find an extensive range of gym equipment, to cater for all levels of fitness, The great thing is every time I go, a new piece of equipment has arrived. They offer classes for all ranges and abilities like pilates and MMA fitness classes. They also offer sports massages in the treatment rooms downstairs. The changing rooms and toilets are always kept clean and tidy and the machinery are always clean. They have a workout clothing line available to purchase. You can also buy coffees, health snacks/meals and shakes here. Overall this is a great independant gym With great clients.
