Fantastic experience: Been using for apx 6 months and love it. Staff are all friendly. Lots of equipment. 4 squat racks, which is great as I've never had to wait to use one. Never overly busy. All round a clean, friendly and inviting atmosphere. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Visited the area with my family for a week and visited this gym 3 times during my stay I believe it's an independent, family run business, as I spoke to Father and son on my first visit, and I always prefer to support independents. Found the staff super friendly, all the equipment needed, and a huge mix of ages/abilities, they obviously work to cater for everyone and it shows. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to gym, hands down, really enjoyed my visits!

Positive experience: Visited here a couple of times whilst holidaying in the area. Friendly staff and good equipment. However, some of it looks quite old and could do with updating. Other than that, great gym with everything you need. Cheers.

Fantastic experience: Visited while on holiday. They couldn’t have been more welcoming. Great price, and really good large space and great equipment. Genuine mix of people; male, female and different ages. Honestly, if the weather hadn’t picked up we would have happily gone every day! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I was away on a short holiday last week , called into g4 guy on the desk was very helpful and welcoming, very clean very professional all you need for a good hard work out . Really recommend, pay as you train very affordable

Fantastic experience: G4 is absolutely brilliant. The classes are great, the spin room is next level - you really have to see the incredible lighting to appreciate how good it is - and the staff are fantastic and extremely professional. Then you have Jen who owns it, she's a quality person and knows how to have a laugh. The whole place has a really good vibe to it, I feel completely at home there and that good vibe spills over to the members, everyone who goes there is social. It's a great place, I'm glad I became a member and wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: Friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Happy to use whilst travelling and we likely be back again. The proposed extension with even more equipment will make it even better.

Fantastic experience: An amazing gym, run by amazing people. Really friendly atmosphere and loads of support for people new to the Gym. During Covid they've gone well above the standard to make sure it was "safe"and have created so many work arounds to support home workouts.

Fantastic experience: I don't know much about gyms so if you need a review from an experienced gym goer then this is not it. If you are overweight, lazy and a bit worried about an earlier death then this is the review for you! I love this gym, its not full of steroid taking musclebound apes. People are really friendly, the staff I assume know what theyre doing. They look like they do... but I know nothing about fitness or gyms. They motivate me, they have qualifications and theyre friendly. Not really looking for much more than that! Just somewhere I wont get laughed at for looking like an asthmatic 90yr old after 5 mins of a class. I was expecting to not enjoy going as I am really lazy and have no self control but it's been marvellous. You can pay as you go so doing one class wont hurt!

Positive experience: Nice gym got everything you need lovely staff very helpful ️️

Negative experience: Doesn't have any machine for working your stomach muscles, doesn't even have a sit-ups bench. You'll see the customers having to misuse various pieces of equipment to do a core workout (me included). Only has a single set of each weight, which means if anyone else is using the same weight as you then you can't work out. Quite cramped too, so only visit during off-peak times or you'll spend half the time waiting for machines or trying not to accidentally smash people in the face with your dumbbells. Stings at £48 quid a month, especially as I have to travel to a different gym sometimes so I can work my stomach muscles. Update: closes at 1pm on a Sunday! Just when the place couldn't annoy me any more.
