Snap Fitness Bridgend

Fantastic experience: I joined last month after trying out a few local bridgend gyms and found this one to be the best. very happy so far, and with a great range of classes. I’ve been doing mostly cardio but unsure how to ask for help using the weight stuff as i’m not very familiar with it

Silvy has really well introduced me and gave the confidence to keep going and upgrade my weights, she has given me a very explained tour and showed me machines that would really help me with certain things I’m trying to achieve, I really recommend her and this gym , it is absolutely lush!

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym here in bridgend. It is always kept clean. Sometimes i think they over do it when it comes to keeping the place clean . Sometimes i wonder if the cleaner dont get tired. Members of staff are wonderful. Shout out to alannah and andrew. Overall lovely atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I literally can’t fault the place. I go between 11pm and 3am as that’s the quietest times which I prefer! Plus I work nights so it fits in with my schedule. They have all the equipment you need. It’s always clean. The showers and toilets are well maintained. I feel comfortable here. I don’t feel vulnerable or like I don’t belong. I’ve been a member for a couple of months now and making good progress. I wish I had the confidence to workout along side other people but I just don’t right now. So being open 24/7 is ideal for my routine.

Fantastic experience: Fully equipped gym with very convenient free parking. All gym staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Space was well kept and clean to boot. If I'm in the area again, I know where to go for my workout.

Positive experience: You couldn’t call their welcome a warm one but the gear is decent and there are private change rooms.

Positive experience: Equipment is starting to look and feel dated, shower rooms have mildew on walls. Staff members don’t have the most welcoming attitude when you walk through the doors. Not enough locker space when it’s at peak times. Value for money.

Positive experience: Very good equipment, not to crowded with added benefit of 24/7 access. Free car parking with additional 3 hours free parking behind the gym in a multi-storey car park. Staff are very approachable and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Had a free trial last week and was impressed from the beginning , staff were welcoming , happy to show me every piece of equipment I was interested in and more ! Bridgend gym has plenary to offer, clean and provides added extras such as showers/ deodorants etc that impressed me enough alongside a great value price that I joined on the spot . So far , would highly recommend .

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant gym with everything you need! The staff are really welcoming and more than happy to help with any questions. The classes are great and I’ve managed to make some great friends from it. Shout out to Lauren and Ryan whose classes I regularly attend. With it being 24 hours, it can accessed to suit your needs (perfect for me with different shift patterns).

Fantastic experience: Love working out here! It’s 24.7 which is great for a 5am session before work! Showers are always clean and warm (massive bonus) Lots of decent equipment available and ample classes to choose from. It’s the first gym I’ve gone to where I feel confident to work out alone. The snap Team are also amazing really helpful! A big shout out to my PT Alannah, she’s a superstar really brings the confidence out in me to push myself further. Xx

Fantastic experience: Overall a great gym. Matt is also incredibly helpful. Knowing little to nothing about working out, how to get to my goals and initially finding the whole process quite intimidating Matt made everything super comfortable and easy to understand. Definitely set me on the right path with both ease and enjoyment.

Fantastic experience: Really nice 24/7 gym in a fab location in Bridgend. Excellent selection of equipment, hack squat and sissy squat equipment are a particular favourite and something I haven't had in previous gyms. The cardio machines to weights ratio is really good. A lot of gyms are cardio heavy, but here they have a really nice range of machines and free weights. The staff are very friendly and approachable, which makes a big difference in comparison to larger gyms. The changing and shower facilities are excellent and always clean. Overall a really nice atmosphere to work out in. I workout out very early in the morning and have always felt safe here. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: A great facility with loads of easy-to-use equipment. Never too busy and the inclusion of the classes is a bonus. All the changing and shower facilties are private, which is great and alwayd kept in good condition. Needless to say the 24/7 access is sooo useful. Parking is a dream during the day with The Rhiw next door and free for 3 hours + Snap have their own indoor car park for up to 9 cars which has always had spaces after usual hours. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A great 24/7 gym that has great selection of equipment with really friendly and supportive staff. Everytime I have visited, I never had an issue with parking, which is always one of my concerns when I use something so regularly. The facilities are always really clean and well maintained, offering individual changing rooms and showers. As someone who does not like the typical gym enviroment, and can find them to be quite daunting. I'd highly recommend this gym because I dont feel anxious when visiting as the staff make me feel welcome!

Fantastic experience: This gym is one of the most inclusive gyms I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The equipment, classes and facilities are good and the staff are approachable and friendly. Only leaving as I work away most of the week. 100% recommend this gym.

Negative experience: When I became a member a few years ago, it was great! However I just feel now, the equipment isn’t updated as the other snap locations and gyms around, and it’s always busy. Don’t get me wrong I understand peak times but it’s general gridlock most times now even when I try to come at 5am it’s near enough busy with nearly every machine full! They need to look at putting a membership cap on because the gym isn’t big enough for the amount of members they keep bringing in! Staff are friendly though so that’s a bonus

Fantastic experience: Having been using gyms for more years than I care to admit, for me, this branch of SnapFitness is right up there at the top for lots of reasons. Sure, if you are a serious bodybuilder you will want more weight, machines and likeminded cohorts. However for ease of access 24/7, cleanliness and a friendly helpful vibe you will find them hard to beat. There is enough equipment including some very heavy dumbbells to test your strength and push the limits. The staff are very customer focussed, friendly and helpful and I have found none of the “attitude” to date that often exists in gym culture. I can also feel safe cycling to this gym without having to use busy roads or it take a lot of time. For me as well, having access to a number of gyms across the UK has proven invaluable when travelling back to see my mother, or other distant friends. Thank you for making me feel welcome and part of the community Ffion, you should be proud of how you run the gym.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of the gym for over 2 years now, always a welcome smile when you pop in, the gym is spotless and any equipment defects are dealt with quickly. Great selection of weight equipment and cardio machines. Showers are a handy edition and are well maintained, new and kept immaculate by the on site cleaning staff! Have only done a handful of classes but the App makes these easy to book! And being open 24 hours plus free car park is always a bonus!!

Negative experience: Gave one months notice and they have tried to take another payment which didn’t go through. They have now sent this to a debt collector for £20 instead of having the decency to call to resolve any issues. Don’t sign up to them. They can’t manage their cancellations

Fantastic experience: First session was free. Was plenty of space even in an evening and kits was good quality and really clean. It's got all kinds of people using it too so it's not specifically a powerlifting gym or a juice head gym.

I liked this place as I feel it's not like most gyms with all the "norms" hogging the machines, tapping their feet at you using the one thing they want to use like now.. Its a good place for beginners to learn about the kit and get help to do so!

Positive experience: Had a trial, excellent kit and good value, currently a member of Halo but the gym is in a terrible state, lack of maintenance, equipment constantly out of order. Probably going to go to Snap instead.
