Negative experience: Rubbish gym. Not enough space. Not enough equipment. Limited schedule. Parking always full. Incompetent staff. This gym is for newbies.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Energie Fitness Hemel for a couple of months and I can't recommend this gym enough. The staff here are really friendly and will have a conversation with you every day when you enter. They have some fantastic Fitness Instructors and Personal trainers there. meaning you have a variety of personalities to choose from. As well as this Energie also offer a variety of different classes for people to take part in. The gym itself is very clean and has a lot of space so it doesn't feel cramped. I rarely find myself having to wait to use equipment for my workouts due to vast variety. Energie has everything you'd come to expect in terms of showers, lockers and all other general gym facilities. I will be continuing to come here for a very long time.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this gym to anyone local to Hemel Hempstead. It has everything you could need in terms of equipment & classes and the staff are highly professional. It's also a very friendly atmosphere at the club, which makes gym visits thoroughly enjoyable. 5 Stars.

Its not the best just because their equipment and classes are great, it’s the best because the owners and staff have created such a friendly and inviting environment. It’s not daunting for newbies yet it’s a great environment for more experienced gym goers! Win win!

It's got such a family feel.

Fantastic experience: Even if you are with another gym, be sure to visit energie to enjoy true customer experience. I stopped in the street to engage with Buddy as I was thinking about how much I used to enjoy Lorna’s Zumba class. I was delighted when he offered me a guest pass. Due to traffic, I arrived shortly after the class started. The house rule meant that I would not be able to join but my disappointment was quickly gone. The rule was enforced highly professionally and with a winning attitude. Andreas, the owner, took time to understand my goals and suggested activities I could do now with my guest pass instead. We decided on a legs workout with weights and he offered to put on my choice of music to the sound system. I felt at home immediately.

(It was a different gym franchise) Since the new franchise energie fitness came, everything has been fantastic, thank you so much for addressing the noise issues for the neighbours.

I've tried a few gyms in Hemel and I've never felt more welcome than I have at énergie. I've never been the most athletic person, so it's nice being able to workout somewhere with such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I know I can ask for help if I need it and I'm honestly so grateful for that

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym. Here, you are not just a contract. We are all almost family. The owners take there time out of a busy day to actually chat with you. All of the staff are very polite, friendly and very efficient. Well kept tidy, clean fresh at all times. Never had any complaints. Overall you defiently get your monies worth. The team always go above and beyond. Classes, a very good variance. Ecspecially .....! Strong by Zumba!!!!

Fantastic experience: Energine is an independent gym, unlike alot of other independent gyms they are not money driven and you can really tell that they care about thete customers. The owners always remember my name and greet me on a daily basis, no one likes going to the gym but when you have the right environment it becomes fun and energie fits that perfectly

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym, the staff are polite, helpful and friendly and equipment well looked after. There is usually a fairly even mix of men and women in the morning when I attend ,and the monthly membership fee is excellent value for money. Well done to all staff, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I signed up to energie about 6 months ago and have been surprised how much better it is compared to previous gym Iv been a member of, the staff are brilliant, is always clean and tidy, can always get on the equipment I’m after and machines are in great condition. Would thouroghly recomend!

Fantastic experience: This is simply the most friendly gym I have ever joined. Great facilities (both for cardio and weight training), changing rooms are always clean and tidy. The staff are very welcoming and always around if you need them to check your form or ask them for advice. Classes are fun too. New owners have certainly done well here.

Fantastic experience: Simply the best gym I have ever used, the staff are so friendly and approachable, asked for advice and they took the time to show me the equipment they thought would help the most. Loads of customer attention from all members of staff. Really cannot fault this gym at all. One of the things I appreciate the most compared to the more corporate gyms are the owners. Not only do you know who they are as they are helping you, but they are such fun guys. Brilliant place. Love it.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is really lovely and welcoming; it’s easy to blend in and make new friends. If you’re not comfortable in using the gym equipment or you feel you lack motivation, there is a huge array of classes which you can benefit from! You can also benefit from free parking the water gardens across the road after 6pm :-)

With her help i achieved my goal of reducing 1 dress size down . My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups ! I would definitely recommend Fran to anyone looking for great quality personal training.

I pay £17.99 a month no contract for the membership and the service is great from the staff. I'm not really sure what else I can say apart from this place is pretty good and has modern machines to work out on

Negative experience: Appalled at their ignorance. When I signed up for this gym, both myself and my partner was told it was under no contract. The original payment was taken of £17.99 (we paid extra for no contract as typically £15.99). I am now receiveing letters telling me I owe near on £60. I have cancelled my direct debit with them and I am in the process of contacting 'Harlands' to stop these belittling letters. Stay away. The gym in itself is small and not much going on. Save yourself the drama and pay the little extra for a honest gym!

Fantastic experience: I've been using the gym for the last twelve months and am really pleased I chose to join it. The staff are excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful, even to someone like me who's always asking questions. The gym has everything I need in terms of cardio machines, free- and machine weights - and loads of classes. I live and work in Hemel, so best of all, it's in the middle of town and very easy to get to before and after work and at the weekend.

Negative experience: I have cancelled the membership, give one month notice and after that i still get charged. I cancelled my direct debit and get a letter from Harlands (recovery ) to pay for another month and a 20£ administration charge. I spoke with the manager at the gym4less and he said that he is going to sort it out but a week has gone and nothing has happened. ...
