Winners 2000 Fitness - Paignton

Fantastic experience: Great team and facilities at winners. Made to feel comfortable right away and everyone is so helpful and approachable which is so much nicer than some other gyms I've been! Tiff is an amazing PT and has great classes for groups too. Highly recommend this gym! Only improvement would be better AC in the summer

Fantastic experience: I really like using Winners 2000 in Paignton. It has all the equipment you could need. I especially enjoy Booty Bootcamp on a Wednesday evening.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Paignton and my only experience with a gym has been Planet Fitness in America. I like that Winners isn't far from my house, the staff is always friendly, and there are plenty of weights and machines to get in a great workout. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with a trainer. Courtney Richards is amazing. She put together a solid program, checks in with me, and has even adjusted my program for me when I have to be out of town without access to a full time gym. I have been very happy with my experience and look forward to continuing to get fit and stay that way!

Fantastic experience: Without doubt my favourite gym in the south Devon area. I was floating between gyms for a few years before settling on winners. Originally I started training in the Newton abbot branch but moved to Paignton. Both gyms are unquestionably the best for both equipment and atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. They go out of their way to make people feel welcome whether they are brand new or returning regularly. The equipment and facilities are well maintained and cleaned. New equipment is introduced sporadically and the staff are always very happy to demonstrate anything new that comes in so that you feel confident. I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and will be here for years to come.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Winners Gym for many years now. There is wide choice of equipment that is maintained well. Chris (Thatch) and the team are all very friendly and always happy to give advice. It's more than just a Gym, it's a community of super friendly people.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. The Instructors are really friendly and helpful. An excellent array of exercise equipment and great studio for classes. Classes are great, but needs to be a few more. Saturday morning and Thursday evening would be amazing. Just to finalise if you fancy having PT’s all the instructors are brilliant. So much choice

Fantastic experience: Large 24hr gym with excellent equipment and layout, experienced and welcoming staff, PT is available (my PT is the amazing Courtney), plenty of parking on site, and so clean. The atmosphere is very friendly with people of all ages. Also has different classes to choose from, Booty Bootcamp on Wednesday evenings is always a fun session. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. Chris is excellent and his great leadership is evident through his amazing team. All of them are incredibly friendly and as a result Winners in Paignton has a strong sense of community and family feel. Wouldn’t use or recommend any other gym.

Fantastic experience: When I was looking at getting back into some form of exercise I was recommended Winners Paignton, having never set foot in a gym before I was a bit nervous thinking it would be full of the typical gym stereotypes...how wrong was I! To help with the newbie nerves I took up the opportunity to have a PT session with Aaron, he made me feel comfortable on the gym floor and patiently showed me how things were done. Fast forward 3 years and I'm still training with Aaron. All the staff are friendly and approachable and always happy to help, weather it's for a spot or advice. The gym is tidy and equipment is well organised with a large variety of free weights and machines available. The studio up stairs is a great space too. The members are like a little community and on the rare occasion you may have to share, people are always happy for you to jump in between sets. Jordan's class on a Sunday is a great way to introduce and encourage fitness to the kids and allows you to train while they do.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with lots of equipment and space. Private rooms and a studio to workout away from the main floor if you want to. Membership is reasonably priced with lots of classes available. Great feel from the members and staff whenever you are there. Everyone is really welcoming which is different to a lot of the gyms locally

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Winners for 5 years and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful, also the PT’s are so knowledgeable! The gym has lots of equipment, it’s clean and well maintained and it’s a great place to meet new people. It’s so good to see such a variety of people working hard on their health and fitness goals! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym since March 2024 and absolutely love it!! The staff are all so helpful, friendly and approachable and always welcome you with a smile. The gym is really well organised and stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need. Water fountain, kitchen/seating area, sauna, plenty of parking and always clean toilets. There are lots of classes and little clubs available to join in with too, which makes the membership super value. Everyone respects each others time and space on the equipment so all can enjoy it and if you are stumped with how to use a piece of equipment there are demo videos available to view; but also anyone would help and show you if you asked. It has a lovely little community feel to it. I have recently started having weekly sessions with PT Thomas Wood whom I can highly recommend as well if you’re looking for a PT. He is amazing and incredibly patient with me and my constant moaning - Thank you Tom ☺️.

Fantastic experience: Winners Paignton is a welcoming place to train. With friendly staff who are always willing to help and a great variety of equipment to use, it’s the only place I feel happy and confident train in.

Fantastic experience: Winners is a great gym. The staff are knowledgable and always on hand for help or tips if needed. It’s also a relaxed atmosphere and very unpretentious. I’m not as regular as some that go to the gym but am always made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend Winners as a place for all.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Winners Paignton for about 6 years. It is such a welcoming place that I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The staff/personal trainers are all very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. The gym floor has a wide variety of equipment so you can always find what you need and there have been several and recent additions of new machinery in my time there. I would definitely recommend Winners for anyone wanted to start or continue their fitness journey.

Positive experience: Has a really good selection of machines and free weights, plus it’s easy to park at. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Vicky and Courtney. Personally I would like more free to member classes, particularly something on a Saturday morning.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly and really professional! The quality of the Equipment is amazing I can’t fault anything. I rate winners2000 the best gym I have ever been to. All the staff in winners2000 they are superb! If you need a help in hand with anything they are always there by your side and very supportive. Amazing and the best gym.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin....Simply the best in every sense, equipment, atmosphere, cleanliness, yet far superior the PTs, & staff make this place. I've always grabbed a week's pass here & there over the years when visiting family in Paignton. Yet this time around it's been for a longer 3-4 months period before I head back North permanently. Without Winners 2000 Paignton, I can honestly say my mental health would of been impacted massively had it not been for the daily friendly welcome, words of encouragement & support, & just that "Hello pal, how you doing" or fist bump. I'm a physically fit guy, always have been, but it's the other aspects around wellbeing that the people at Winners truly do make it a stand out from alot of gyms/Fitness centres around the UK. Keep doing what you do & thanks for helping a guy out when internally sometimes he was struggling Mitch

Fantastic experience: The Paignton gym is consistently excellent. There’s a large range of quality equipment from racks to bands and everything is clean. Huge mix of clientele here who are friendly. Staff are always knowledgeable and approachable. It’d be great to have a pool and maybe a few more classes but that’d really be the cherry on top of an already fantastic cake.

Fantastic experience: you might feel intimidated by the size of the place to start with, but the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful that you'll have no issues with asking for support on equipment, but the group classes are my favourite - they're varied, fun and there are no 'cliques', it's great :)

All instructors are professional, willing to help and are super friendly. No need to feel intimidated it’s for all shapes, sizes and abilities and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to classes that are included in your membership. Best move I ever made!

Fantastic experience: I have been in many gyms in my time and in other countries, winners I feel right at home in. The space, the equipment and staff all help to make it a good experience. Through work have also trained in Torquay and Newton Abbott winners which I also found to be a good experience. Altough l thought l wouldn't know anyone there at both gyms l bumped into people l did know showing me that winners is a popular gym.
