Fit Club Amersham

Negative experience: Refusing to acknowledge (or ignore) cancellation of membership by email and repeatedly charging credit card after it was disputed over the phone and given a refund. Still charging again. Typical scam gym membership tactics...

Negative experience: Asked to cancel my membership after my first month via email and phone. This has been ignored and I've been charged and still not yet refunded. Despite getting in touch, no resolution. Scam gym. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at FCA for around 5 years. FCA truly have their members /customers needs at the heart of what they offer. Ed and team are so welcoming, it has a lovely community vibe, it’s never so busy that you can’t use equipment, it’s well equipped and always very clean. Classes are a-plenty with a variety timings and they also provide the right balance of variation for all fitness levels. If you’re reading this and thinking of joining, I’d say do it!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having Personal Training at Amersham Fit Club for just over a year. I go 3 or 4 times a week for a range of weights and cardio. I was a complete beginner when I started and had never exercised regularly other than walking the dogs and the odd game of tennis. A year later and I can honestly say the difference has been transformational. I’ve never felt fitter or stronger, and I can’t wait to see how far I can take my training. I highly recommend the team here!

Fantastic experience: FitClubAmersham is a lovely boutique gym but has all you need to get a serious workout done. It’s super friendly and welcoming and the classes with Liv are excellent. I also recommend Liv for PT sessions, she is really knowledgeable and knows how to push me to get the best out of me. In just 10 weeks I’m fitter, stronger, healthier and happier than I have been in a long while

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Amersham a few months ago, I was looking for a new gym to join - after trying out a few different places, I found FIT Club to meet all my needs - really nice friendly gym with lots of good quality and diverse classes. I particularly enjoy Liv's classes, they're always so dynamic and a lot of fun and leave me completely breathless afterwards. I look forward to them, particularly the Monday functional fitness class! I would recommend anyone at any fitness level to try out Liv's classes.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of many gyms over the years and this is by far the nicest and friendliest gym ever. You are always greeted warmly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I have had regular PT sessions with all the trainers at the club and not only are they all very knowledgeable, making sure the correct technique is always used but they also make it fun and enjoyable. The classes too are a great way to workout. Now that I have found Fit Club Amersham I will never train anywhere else. I 100% recommend them.

Fantastic experience: FitClub Amersham is a progressive little gem of a gym, nestled in the centre of Amersham. The club is always welcoming and does not have the typical gym feeling about it. The gym has all the required equipment which also helps to maintain a friendly non-intimidating atmosphere. The trainers are always pleasant, helpful, approachable and will assist you in reaching your goal, but you also need to bring your commitment in order to achieve the desired results. I have completed the 3 month personalised goal centered Transformation Program (lost over 2 stones) and now on a maintenance program. Highly recommended if you need to get into shape or maintain your current physique.

Fantastic experience: Expertly managed by Tate and Nadine, this gym offers classes and programmes tailored to you and what you’re looking to achieve. The thing I love about the people here is that there is no judgement – gyms can be an intimidating place for some of us, however the open and friendly way in which I was welcomed certainly put my mind at rest - you are made to feel like part of the fit club family! With the support, guidance and PT sessions, I am well along the road to achieving my goals; in fact i'm almost half the person I was so I cannot recommend this gym highly enough!!

Fantastic experience: I train with Matt, he is a brilliant Personal Trainer anybody could ask for. I struggle with consistency, but I must say it’s been 3 months I have been training with Matt & he is been brilliant. Trainings are planned around my goals & my pace. I highly recommend this gym too, very well equipped & warm members of staff too.

Negative experience: Over priced for what’s available. Seemed very snobby like they knew better than everyone else. £125 for a small gym and 10 classes is embarrassing. Went in for a look around to find a new gym and left feeling like I wasn’t good enough to be a member.

Fantastic experience: Great local gym with fantastic top of the range equipment. The classes are brilliant and the trainers are all really experienced. There is a wide variety of classes at all different times so plenty to choose from. This gym has a really friendly feel to it and it's such a nice touch that it is family owned. They make you feel really welcome and all the members are friendly too.
