Gym Sutton (The Best Gym in Sutton)

Fantastic experience: Had a tour with Jon - A credit to the company , Happy and enthusiastic young man - very helpful. I enjoyed the tour ,The gym is clean , tidy with all the peices of equipment I needed so I joined there and then.

Fantastic experience: I visited the gym for the first time today and was genuinely impressed by the spacious layout and high-quality equipment. Although I encountered a minor issue accessing the facility with my day pass, a helpful female staff member (I wish I remembered her name) quickly assisted and made the experience smooth and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back!

Negative experience: I accidentally signed up for the year contract and when I emailed asking to change I was rejected. I then had to email and explain my clinically diagnosed Autism and depression and how I can’t commit to a year membership as I found the gym uncomfortable to be in and didn’t want to be a member regardless. I asked if I could pay the different of a year/monthly membership and was rejected, and received appalling and rude customer service from someone called Emily and then was just ignored. I understand I had signed up for the year contract (even though it was an accident and I had explained this), however there are extenuating circumstances including my legally protected characteristics and have faced nothing but discrimination and rude and unsympathetic customer service. It was an accident and I’m being trapped in this contract regardless. For the sheer treatment I have received, there are far better gyms with far more competently trained staff. I would definitely find a better gym. Thieves. All their “positive” reviews that flood in after they get a single negative review are also literally their own staff members, everything about this company is a con and should be looked into for false advertisement.

Not overfilled as many other gyms. Very private. You can actually train instead of wasting time in useless long chats. Definitely recommended.

Positive experience: Good space and equipment but had more helpful staff in other gyms in the area. Late night some gym goers do take the liberty to do what they want ( bringing loud speakers while then training, t-shirts off, ....) The price is higher than the rest in this area but because of that it's also less busy .

Negative experience: All very well as a loyal paying customer until you come into a spot of bother and your payment bounces. Unlike normal gyms, who will usually automatically attempt the payment again 7/14 days later, this company will add on a £20 fee (regardless of your circumstances) within 24 hours of missing a payment and will call, text and email you harassing you and threatening you with ccjs. This angered me so much that I cancelled my membership, as the gym is hardly unique or a rarity in Sutton. After agreeing a date I would pay the late fee, they then automatically took it without my authorisation 5 days earlier than agreed in writing. Very sad that this business appears to get off on hounding people for money when the gym itself is mainly unstaffed. Unjustifiable payment terms. I would recommend avoiding and spending your money elsewhere at an establishment with real people and reasonable terms and conditions.

Negative experience: Doge gym Nobody tell you that you need 1 month cancel notice otherwise you will go court and pay extra £220 Very rude stuff very bad politic DO NOT USE THIS GYM

Negative experience: The gym was good, sometimes no staff and a bit messy. My payment didn’t go through one month so I emailed saying I wanted to cancel my membership as it was too expensive. They emailed back several times saying that I needed to change my payment method and pay the amount for this month which was £34.99+ late payment fee which was £54.99 all together. They also said that if I didn’t pay by a certain date, they would take me to court and it would cost me a little more than £220 which I could not afford. Please try and make a clearer page on the app as to how to cancel memberships as I was very confused as how to do this. Thanks

Alex showed me around, she is incredible and guided me through all the equipment available! It is without a doubt the best in Sutton! Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this gym for almost 2 years now, It’s spacious, doesnt matter how busy it gets, you have plenty of room that’s also with dumbbells, barbells and machines and space! it has a friendly atmosphere. 24/7 open!! The staff is professional, will assist you with anything regarding the gym. Strongly recommend.

Really impressed by the classes, hot yoga is amazing and the body blast classes led me to sign up to private PT sessions!!! All the instructors, staff and facilities all 10/10!! Positive experience: Great gym equipment and very high standard gym. Great service my only disappointment with the gym is that they don't offer referral schemes or bring a friend day passes. Also the fact you can't train on your induction day is unheard of. Having to sign up without getting a feel of the equipment isn't great. Apart from these minors the gym itself and atmosphere is great

Emily not only effortlessly addressed all of my inquiries, but she also provided comprehensive and crystal-clear explanations regarding every aspect of signing up for the gym. Phenomenal communication skills, genial personality, and full professionalism in every aspect. A role model for everyone working in the fitness industry. After a month of being a regular user, I had the chance to get to know another brilliant member of the staff. When I experienced some troubleshooting issues with gym access via the app, Josh assisted me swiftly and efficiently with absolute gold standards of customer service. His charismatic and friendly personality, combined with an aesthetic physique and professional demeanour, undoubtedly represent the finest qualities of the fitness industry. Fantastic communication and Josh's genuineness make you feel at home. If you're looking for a solid gym run by great people, look no further ! Highly recommended !

Good equipment & has great group fitness offerings (which other gyms don’t offer) Loads of classes on the schedule and the main studio is lovely & spacious. All kinds of classes from hot yoga, pilates, met con & step! If you like classes and take even one or two a week here the membership is great value. Staff & clients are fab. Recommended. ✌️

This gym what I am looking for since I moved in cheam. You ll not regret it after join. Don’t look it’s website go and visit. Because I always look the website that not attract me at all. Negative experience: Utter marketing lies, misinformation and misselling about their monthly membership with only "one month" notice period for cancellation. It's NOT one month notice period as they advertise, and tell you when you join the gym. It is almost 2 months in actuality when you try to cancel the membership by giving one month's written notice. For example, if you give notice on the 2nd of March, they expect you to pay for the gym until the 30th of April (NOT 2nd of April as one would expect based on their promises about "one month notice period"). It does says so in their T&C's that the membership will terminate at the end of the following calendar month after notice was given (as the cut-off date for cancellation is the last day of a calendar month). But this was never communicated at the time of joining and they do not give you a joining pack too with any T&C's that you can refer to. They try to deceive customers by hiding the actual notice period under obscure T&C's online on their website, which they refer to whilst trying to cancel your membership by giving one month's written notice by email. But to be honest, worst than all of this is actually their arrogant and bullying attitude and pathetic customer service!! I have never ever come across a gym and management team such as this before. As everyone knows, when things go wrong or dispute develops is when you really see the true colour of people and their nature. None of their management team including the owner whom I have liaised with have any customer service skills whatsoever. They are outright bullies with threatening behaviour and zero intention of treating customers with respect!!! You do not want to give your money to them no matter how cheap they are trying to sell their membership and lure customers in. Their membership and marketing gimmicks might be enticing but this is not the kind of gym you want to give your hard earned money to. There are plenty of other gyms out there with much better customer service, business ethics and moral code.

Fantastic experience: Trained at this Gym for over a year now and so glad I signed up here. I have trained in many gyms but Gym Sutton is miles ahead. Incredible atmosphere, great community and tonnes of options for your work out, number one gym, I highly recommend

Negative experience: Do not join the gym! Do not join the gym! They didn’t tell you that you need to tell them one month in advance to cancel the membership. You only figure this out when you quit the gym. There is no option to cancel the membership on app or website, no available phone call. They just tried to make it as hard as possible for you to quit. Also they remember and use your personal information without your permission. Just don’t join them. The gym classes are getting worse on quality and time. There’s nothing fun to do any more. They used to be a good gym. Now it is over crowded with poor equipment.

Positive experience: EDIT: They've upped their game and fixed all of the broken machines. New padding is very nice, and you can now regulate some machines that had broken handles. They also added a plate holder in the plate loaded machine area, which people do not use, but that is not their fault. They've earned their 4th star and if they add some more options for hamstrings, update the abductor and adductor and improve the plate situation, they will earn the 5 stars! Equipment for functional training it's decent but machines are a mix of just bad (I'm looking at you adductor machine) or machines that are falling apart. The free weights are ok but it's a constant treasure hunt for the matching plate. Cardio machines are functional but they no place to put your phone. For the price it's alright but I wouldn't mind paying more for better maintained equipment.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience and fully equipped gym with many PTs around to help. Calum Hemingway was an especially good personal trainer who took his time focusing on perfecting my form and helping me to start achieving my goals. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Terrible gym. My training was far from efficient as unreturned weights are put everywhere. Environment is very messy. There is a member reporting policy. I tried taking pic and report to the staff. Not only that there was no reward and the reported weight was ignored. The messiness was getting worse day by day. I regret that I signed up for a year.

The vibrant atmosphere buzzed with energy. Everything is clean and fresh, there is a lot of space . The stuff is really good to you and will always have a positive energy! Fantastic experience: Gym trainer Joseph is the best. I had hot yoga tonight and forgot my water bottle. I thought I could get a water out of the machine but it wouldn’t tap my card on the card reader. I asked Joseph if there was any paper cups around, and instead he went above and beyond and actually went to the shop to get a water for me. Amazing customer service! This is why it’s the best gym in Sutton. Thank you Joseph for being Super helpful, polite and just an all round gentlemen! 5⭐️
