Positive experience: Great open air gym. Definitely get a good workout and there are friendly and helpful folks. The music was fun as well! Glad I was able to get a day pass and get in a workout before my flight from Stanstead Airport. Pet friendly is always a plus!Cheers!

Fantastic experience: Yes; the equipment is superb, the gym is clean and spacious, and there is ample parking. But what really sets Koru apart from all other gyms is the culture of inclusivity that the owner has fostered. Everyone is welcomed and treated with care and respect, regardless of ability or physique. Both the staff and the gym members are so supportive and friendly. A welcome antidote to toxic commercial gyms I've visited before; the Koru team should be really proud of what they've created.

Negative experience: Changing room small for men, if 9 inside feels overcrowded, with only two shower rooms. Once I forgot my drink, asked if I can get a cup of tap water, staff said no I can't give u plastic cup which we use for coffee machine only and offered bottle of water for $1.50. Another time staff was giving training "super combo" for one trainee using 3 machines, had to wait 25min. Yes it's nicely equipped, expensive 37.50 gym, good if not overcrowded, u can find shower gel in shower rooms, clean and tidy, parking ok.
Linas, thank you for leaving a review, although I am obviously disappointed at some of your comments. We always try to be friendly and welcoming, and I know I always say hello to you. We obviously feel that the changing rooms are more than suitable for our membership, but we cannot account for odd times when the gym is busier than normal. And there is plenty of parking both around the gym, and in the overflow car park, but you do fail to mention that you drive a long wheel base transit camper, so in our defence, you are never going to find parking easy! We have not provided plastic cups for water for several years as we found we were getting through 50-75 a day, and everyone is trying to cut down on plastic. We provide free drinking water and ask people to bring their own bottles. If you don’t wish to do this, we sell bottled water.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant gym if you want to avoid the 'globo gym' environment of endless running machines. There is plenty of equipment with lots of variety (you'll be hard pressed to find another local gym with atlas stones and a car deadlift). The staff are great and the price is brilliant for what you get. The gym has a really good community feel to it.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym for anyone who wants to lift heavy stuff in a friendly gym. The staff are always happy to help with advice / spotting you etc and it's always clean in the showers and toilets. The equipment is well organised with plenty of space for the strong man type training as well as the usual stuff.
