Fantastic experience: How does this outdoor gymnasium facility have no reviews? I visited today for my very first time, here is my re-view; [BACKGROUND] Qualified Personal Trainer (never used the qualification...) seeking a local outdoor gym for purpose of Pull Ups, Dips, generally keeping fit. Now, bear in mind, I have a multipass gym membership allowing access to over 800+ gyms around UK (not a plug, I promise) but today felt like an outdoor training day and off I went to Purley Way Outdoor Gym. [AT FIRST GLANCE] The equipment looked worn in, does the cycle even pedal? I hopped on, it does...the relief. As I moved around the clearly labelled 'Cardio' zone, it only took 5 minutes and I was in the zone. [THE WORKOUT] It would be a first trying a Calisthenics workout regime. I didn't come empty handed, along with my water bottle I had a mobile app installed, namely 'Thenics'. This is where the fun began, a simple workout regime taking you from one piece of equipment to another. [CONCLUSION] Will definitely be a regular here, it has all the equipment needed to have a fun workout! Beautiful view of the greenery while you train, sounds of nature and, best of all, springy tarmac flooring so it's not too harsh on the knees, what more could you ask?
