Fantastic experience: Was working away and dropped in for a class. Great bunch of guys and instruction for no-gi. Watch out for those leg locks

Negative experience: Not professional at all friendly spar with one of the instructors turned into a street fight style fight where even after disclosing that I had no gum guard and therefor should not be hit in the face (according to another instructor) I accidentally clipped his face and he proceeded to hit me in the face several times leading to my nose bleeding he then went on to attempt to square up to me ( new comer to martial arts) and swore and shouted at me that he could “fuck me up “ if he wanted to wasn't assisted in learning at all.

Fantastic experience: Excellent martial arts club. Sam and the team are extremely accomodating and friendly. When my daughter started having second thoughts they talked to her and introduced her to other types of martial arts to keep her interest. They are all extremely knowledgeable and have lots of extra things happening through the year. I cannot recommend them enough they are excellent!!

Negative experience: Bad experience with these guys, I stopped my direct debit with them when they were shut during covid but somehow the payments continued coming out of my account. When I learnt that I had been paying months on end when the place was closed, I contacted the manger to try and recover my money. He promised to pay back but only received one payment and I got fed up of chasing after my money. I have since not recovered my money.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place, I've been going there for about two months, the MMA and jiu-jitsu are great and the instructors are top notch. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Daughter (6) had her first introduction lesson. Really seems like a well put together place. She had a massive smile on her face the whole time. Lesson was well ran. She's had a proper workout, and has come home happy and positive. So will definitely be going back!

Negative experience: It isn't kyokushinkai style.Sensei doesn't teach kyokushin, but the wado ryu karate style.

Fantastic experience: Kyushinkai offers a safe place to grow and study in many different Martial Arts. I've known Sam for around 25 years and i've seen the great work he has done with those he has helped over that time and I'm looking forward to seeing the club grow further over the next 25 years!
