Fantastic experience: Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to explain in layman's terms, so I'm far more aware of my body than ever before. My personalised programmed has helped my problem no end and now I have had 4 visits over 4 weeks I will be assessed and my programme altered accordingly. A sincere thankyou to Milly whose brilliant personality has helped me to understand why my aches and pains are happening and how to deal with the domino repercussion of damaged nerves, tight muscles and the need to stretch on a regular basis. 2nd part of my journey... after 2nd assessment I've joined pilates reform classes and I absolutely love them. Working with the reformer stretches me to the max, exercises under the watchful eye of the tutor. one hour of pilates resistance is followed by a hard half hour of resistant exercises with weights, Millie pushing me to the limit. I'm feeling a lot stronger than I have felt in a long time (post long covid, shingles, spondylolthesis ) if I can , whoever is reading this can.

As I have scoliosis and osteoporosis, I find this treatment very beneficial and it has really improved my quality of life. Fantastic experience: Millie found the cause of my back going into agonising spasms and, with ongoing soft tissue therapy, has given me quality of life again. However, the pricing system is over-complicated and very expensive. Also, there is no time allocated between clients for the physio to make/revise notes, escort the clients to and from the Reception area etc. and also for the client to remove and replace clothing as appropriate. Therefore, a 20 minutes session is reduced to an 18-17 minutes session - which, at approx £90/hour, is rather irritating. Obviously management need to factor in a 5-10 minutes break between each client!! Also, when does the physio have a chance to rehydrate / go to the toilet?

Fantastic experience: I was honestly a bit skeptical at first as I have tried many different practitioners to solve my chronic neck pain without much success over the last 2-3 years. The initial assessment was thorough and I liked the consultant led approach to the treatment plan, which encompassed a holistic approach. After 6 weeks of regular treatment I have noticed a significant improvement in pain levels and having just had my review, can see improved stats too. I have trusted the process and am now feeling very positive for continued improvement- I highly recommend for anyone suffering with chronic pain.

Fantastic experience: Wow. My body looks and feels different, all because of Pilates with Lyfe Health. I’ve been going twice a week most weeks for just over 1 month now. Every day, especially these days, I notice the difference. I move more gracefully. It takes much less effort to, “pull” myself out of bed. Fantastic experience: As someone approaching 50 and having experienced lower back pain for the last 20 years, I didn’t think anything could be done. But Lyfe Health has helped and guide me to the best level of fitness I’ve ever experienced. It started with seeing Leon and having a number of deep tissue massages. As a qualified physio, Leon was able to suggest small lifestyle changes and exercises to strengthen my back. This led me to doing reformer pilates at Lyfe, which has significantly helped my overall stamina, flexibility and core strength. All the Pilates instructors are fantastic and make the classes fun. Special mention goes to Harri who approaches his classes with real enthusiasm and energy. I’ve recently started Personal Training (PT) sessions with Leon to focus on my general strength. Working with Leon feels comfortable and safe given my historic back issues. All the services offered at Lyfe are excellent. And knowing that I’m working with qualified physios gives me a real sense that they are invested in my overall health and wellbeing. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I had my first free pilates class and after that I decided to join.After asking few questions about price, lessons etc I asked if there was a cancellation policy, usually its 24 hours around gyms and studios, but they have 48 hours cancellation policy, if you do not cancel before this time, you loose the lesson and so the money. This put me off and i decided not to join. I really feel Lyfe Health should consider lowering down to 24 in order for people not too feel too committed to it.

Fantastic experience: I had an MRI at Lyfe Health Bournemouth, I think it’s great to have an option to quickly get an MRI scan, i really needed one to get answers on back issues. It was 45 minutes which I was able to book online, it was professional and effective and I had the results in 72 hours. Thank you

Positive experience: V good facilities, and professional, empathetic and friendly staff. However, the credit system used for payment, specifically how credits are utilised throughout a treatment programme set by Lyfe, requires full understanding at the outset and very careful monitoring throughout - it is easy to be caught offside by how quickly the credits can be consumed.

Fantastic experience: I had a serious accident in November 2020 and broke my calcaneus bone (the heel) of my right foot into 5 pieces, (it was an open fracture to boot, [no pun intended], which was triple super 'ouch'), and I also managed to crush my subtalar joint into squashed oblivion... just to make things even more dire. My consultant surgeon 'prepared me' to lose my foot. After a brutal operation, followed by 5 months of non weight bearing, and a further year taken in getting my 'hoof' engaging down on the floor, (I NEVER want to have to go through that again), one of my therapists, (I had several in my recovery quest), recommended that I book an appointment with Lyfe Health to discuss engaging in a treatment plan with them - as they (my therapist) had heard really 'good things' about them. Absolutely the best move I made with regards to my recovery! 'Good things' was an understatement. I simply would not be where I am today without these guys - which is, to all intents and purposes, back to normal, and fully functioning. The care and professional ability they deliver is second to none. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Seriously, if you have a need for physiotherapy, for whatever reason, they are the cream. I have had treatment from several of the team over the last 20 months, and their standards are equal across the board. (Not going to lie, I have a favourite - but they are all equally capable.) The facilities are above and beyond, with recovery gyms, exercise studios and even MRI scanning, and the people who work there are all super friendly and personable. I am now in a maintenance programme that ensures I stay where I am in my physical ability, which is where I wanted, but never expected, to be. They have ensured that I exceeded my wildest dreams. I don't leave many reviews on Google, (I fully understand the responsibility that should be acknowledged when making such recommendations), and if I do, you can rest assured any such review is sincere and genuine. If you need this kind of care, (or any kind of care for gripes, aches and pains), you won't be disappointed - these are your people.

Fantastic experience: I had very bad breathing and hand lots of tests for all forms of cancer. I had a MiR scan done with them and it was my back that was the problem. I have been having IDD and it has changed my life. I now have pilates and after three sessions I now have more movement and less pain. I can now start getting my lifestyle back and have a normal life. I can.now start swimming and cycling. I still have a way to go but I now can start to walk properly again. The team have got me about 80% there. All of them have given great advice and been very patient with me. Paul.burden.

I saw Tom Napier for my treatments which were sports massages every 3 weeks. Tom"s professional and relaxed approach instantly made me feel welcome and at ease. The regular treatments kept all my little niggles at bay so i was able to be active and enjoy life. Tom always took the time to ask after your life and well being and i enjoyed chatting to him. Tom advised me to see my GP after i had a funny turn at work one day and as a result of his advice my GP sent me to A&E where i discovered id had a mild heart attack. Sadly this forced me to move closer my family in North Devon. I will miss the sessions i had with Tom and i wish him all the best for the future. Negative experience: Extremely unhappy with the service provided from Lyfe Health following a triple fracture sustained in my hand and wrist. They did not have sight of my injury details; medical records; consultant letter; x-rays; and so on (and at no point did they even request them). I am flabbergasted as to how physiotherapy can be provided to an individual without any of that information. I cancelled all future bookings despite them being offered to me for free through my PMI provider. I have since paid £72.00 per session to attend physiotherapy at Nuffield Bournemouth with an experienced professional, which should indicate how disappointing the service was. My grip strength and wrist flexibility were measured in the first appointment with the new physiotherapist; something that Lyfe Health had never done. It is therefore safe to say that I was more impressed with Nuffield in the first 10 minutes of the very first session. More worryingly, however, I was told to immediately stop doing the exercises Lyfe Health recommended I undertake due to high risk of further damage. I spoke to my provider on 07 February 2024 who confirmed that Lyfe Health had sent them a discharge form recommending I see a hand and wrist specialist. That is even more astounding as I had clearly told them that I had already attended an appointment with an Orthopaedic Surgeon; hence the referral for physiotherapy! To be abundantly clear, I was not discharged by Lyfe Health who attempted to book additional sessions for me – I cancelled them myself due to the sheer disappointment of the service received. I do not trust Lyfe Health, will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old daughter has been seeing leon for about 5 months. Hes amazing i cant fault him at all, he is very calm and patient with her and he makes her laugh but has achieved amazing results with her. You will 100% receive a 10/10 service if you go to lyfe health.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Tom and the Lyfe health team, I have been attending since they opened in Westbourne last year. It has been a long 22 months since my knee injury and for sure it has been a long & difficult road to recovery. With re-hab/physio & personal challenges along the way, I finally felt confident with starting all over again and last night I had my first PT in 2 years (and made it to work today ) I have more PT’s booked in and I cannot wait to get back to training again properly.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having help from Dan for various skeletal issues long before they became LyfeHealth. Now all staff seem very well qualified, experienced & capable physios who know what they’re talking about. It’s more than just a job to them. Great equipment so options for treatment aren’t limited but varied. I’m trying IDD at present for chronic back issues ( don’t want more surgery) & it seems to be helping a lot. Really effective massages. Water supplied on tap at Reception which is so good. Impressive Pilates classes & equipment. Good coffee & granola too!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Lyfe Health and seeing Steve Trapp when I was experiencing lower back pain which was impacting my daily life and the gym. Steve was very sympathetic and always made me feel very comfortable. He really listened to the pain and issues I was experiencing and ensured I understood more about my injury and how the treatment plan would support my recovery. I therefore felt in very safe hands. Through hands on treatment/massages and acupuncture, the pain significantly reduced and I became more mobile again. I really appreciated the care Steve showed when celebrating all the small improvements throughout the process of recovery. I now feel fully recovered and my lower back rarely disrupts my life anymore! Thank you Steve.

The MRI scan was competitively priced, revealing meniscus tear, followed up with injections and personal training programme. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Lyfe Health enough. The reception staff are all very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I've been treated by Dan for a frozen shoulder. He is very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. He explains everything really well and puts you at ease. I'm currently being treated by Steve for Sciatica pain. He is knowledgeable about this type of pain, what works well to resolve the issue. He is really friendly, answers all questions I have. With both I felt relaxed and trusted them with their opinion on what would work best for me.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Lyfe Health in Westbourne enough, from initial taster class of reformer Pilates my journey with them started. After initial assessment which was very thorough, and using digital equipment, a follow up plan was set. The physio’s all work in a professional manner and are very knowledgeable. I have a long term back condition and my plan included using IDD equipment and reformer Pilates. Tom has been instrumental in monitoring me and encouragement when using reformer equipment. The difference in my mobility has been remarkable. All the staff are very friendly and approachable, and this also includes the lovely receptionist’s who are always happy, friendly and ready to help.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Lyfe Health since July this year, have found them to be very pleasant and professional and innovative in their treatment. The injections on my knee really helped me move forward with my life. Dan was very supportive and the acupuncture helped my lower back pain. Steve was excellent in the Pilates 1-1, made it very pleasant and productive. All in all money well spent.

Negative experience: For clients / staff who are unable to park outside your shop, if you need to park in one of the residential roads please park considerately i.e parking across driveways or double parking is thoughtless and most inconsiderate. You may work in this area, but we live here, please bear this in mind.

Fantastic experience: I booked my initial appointment (£25) as I was worried about a few things after running a half marathon and then continued with a 12 session appointment pass. All staff were very nice and I always thought I got my session worth. From personal exercise plans to foot orthotics, I even experienced acupuncture for lower back pain. I recommend this place 100%. The appointment pass is valid for 2 years!
