Fantastic experience: This is the place to go if you want to lift proper weights. Gym has more machines than you could imagine, the gym itself is immaculate and the staff and members are all really helpful. Also has a sunbed and room for photography.

Fantastic experience: Having trained in many gyms across Hertfordshire and Essex, Factory has to be my favourite. They are constantly adding new machines and updating the gym, all while offering a friendly atmosphere. The staff are always happy and helpful making it genuinely feel like a gym that's there for it's members.

Fantastic experience: I have been training all my life and have only found two gyms I truly feel at home in, the first was when I started my training life, the second is Factory Gym, owner, equipment, staff, atmosphere & members… all are without doubt top class, it’s now my ‘church’ where I visit with a smile each day. Factory always strive to offer the best & regularly you’ll find a shiny new bit of kit to play with. My advice, just get down and find out for yourselves, you WON’T want to go anywhere else after… fact !!

Brilliant atmosphere with super friendly staff in the front desk, always there to help and serve up whatever you want, pre workouts/ protein shakes etc. brand new cardio machines, state of the art sunbed onsite…… what more do you want!! From pro bodybuilders to people on weight loss journeys and everything in between, it’s welcoming to all. I’m so glad I’ve found it and it’s on my doorstep

Fantastic experience: Factory Gym Witham is hands down one of if not the best gym around! As soon as you walk in you are greeted happy and helpful staff. At the front the gym offers a wide variety of protein shakes to enjoy there, protein shakes to take away, tubs of protein to take home. As well as a vast variety of intra workout drinks, pre workouts, pumps, energy drinks, different size water bottles too. Protein bars, flapjacks, egg whites, meals and more are on offer too. Health supplements are on offer too as well as bottles and sachets of tanning cream for the amazing sunbed room, very clean and highly recommend. The gym itself is a lot bigger than you would think from the outside with it spanning into 3 warehouses. The gym has a wide variety ok machines that you may or may not have seen before so you are always set for a proper session. The gym is always getting lots of new machines to improve your training, recently Factory opened up a room just for Leg sessions and even to this day is still expanding with incredible new equipment! In the last month the gym had a delivery of brand new custom plates for every weight, you are never left searching! The cardio room has just had 4 new treadmills and even more new awesome cardio machines on the way! The gym is always clean, it has a fun and friendly yet serious atmosphere! Mirrors all around so you can see yourself workout out and the progress you will definitely make here! The gym is 24/7 and has real music 24/7 so no excuses! The two managers Molly and Arron are doing an amazing job running the gym, the supplements bar, keeping their employees and customers happy! You feel like one big family which is amazing! We have some amazing pro bodybuilders that call this gym their home too such as Samson Dauda, Carl Philbrick, Mark Joyce to name a few. I count myself truly lucky to boast that this incredible gym is in fact my local gym. The gym has pros, athletes and gym goers from all over coming to visit too and no wonder why. Already can’t wait for my next session tomorrow!

I was welcomed with opening arms from staff in reception (Molly) The equipment here is very up to date and very clean! whilst being here they have recently brought a lot of new machines, so are always changing for what’s best for the gym! I Wouldn’t train anywhere else now. Would definitely recommend anyone around the area to sign up!

Fantastic experience: An amazing gym with excellent equipment and the atmosphere was unchallenged by another gym just the place you want to be.

Fantastic experience: i love this place, equipment is always maintained and the best bits of kit - I always seem to want to train legs here just because the beautiful Atlantis hack squat! We travel miles to train here because of the environment, the staff and the equipment. If you ever catch the owner too, what a nice approachable man. Anyway yeah just join, you won’t regret it. OH one last thing - it’s CLEAN as a pin and they have a awesome selection of over the counter sups that rival anyone’s prices!

Fantastic experience: Everything is there that I need great place for a good workout

Negative experience: I'm sad to say that this is not the review I was hoping to write. I travel 45 minutes to train on a Sunday afternoon and find the front entrance locked. A young lad, no older than 20 with blonde hair and braces comes out and tells me that it's a 24/7 gym for members only (this was in no way advertised on Google). In spite of me expressing interest in joining and additionally paying for a day session, he refused me entry and didn't even offer to let me have a look around at least. I've never been to a gym which employed a more dismissive and frankly rude member of staff who showed no interest in me as a customer. It reflects poorly on the rest of the gym team, especially given there are many reviews which praise the friendliness of the staff. Despite how well equipped and well maintained this gym is supposedly, I can't recommend somewhere which employees staff with such poor communication and customer service skills. A real shame, and I won't be making a second trip.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, a lot of plate loaded. Terrible music though. Mostly dance tracks so don't forget your headphones.

Fantastic experience: It's just an excellent gym. The best gym I've seen outside of some of the major ones in California (Venice Beach, West Hollywood). Excellent variety of equipment.

Fantastic experience: Epic gym the owner is very friendly and helpful. I really can't fault it, especially now the owner has extended it out with its own separate area dedicated to leg weights and squat racks. This gym is so good I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go there every week despite having other gyms much closer to me... that tells you everything you need to know :). There is a huge dumbbell rack and the machines are amazing, a mix of high quality hammer strength and atlantis/panetta, highly recommend this gym if you want high quality training with people not sat on machines staring at Facebook. Also if you love deep house and trance you're in for a treat :)

Fantastic experience: Perfect gym! machines are really clean and contract the muscle really good. Really friendly staff Ed is really nice. Showers and changing rooms are kept tidy and clean. Variety of different machines for people of all ages and sizes. Would %100 recommend to any gym goer!! It’s also very welcoming not intimidating. This gym is for anyone so if you can make it to witham I’d definitely sign up or give it a try!!

Fantastic experience: I've started working out here and so far I am very happy with the place. They have some innovative looking machines that work the targeted muscle just like it says on the "box". But what is best of all is hardly anyone wasting time, surfing social media or internet, whilst hogging a bench or machine. Reason I cancelled my membership at my last gym. Annoying when trying to complete a routine but someone is on Facebook posting nonsense whilst hogging a machine!

Positive experience: Lots of facilities but many looking a bit worn. Have to go on a bit of a search for the smaller weights as not always available and there is only one cushion for the bar for squats etc. Lots of really big fellas here and have seen some get a bit loud in groups which could be intimidating for new-comers. There seems to be a culture of throwing the bar on the floor after deadlifts which makes a racket that I don't see in other gyms! They have a PA system which bangs out the tunes, a mixture of hard dance and rock all very loud so have to have your own headphones up pretty loud if you want to listen to something different. Good value if you're doing a one-off visit at £6; gets a bit pricier for a one-month membership (£45).

Fantastic experience: Great friendly gym if you are into weight training. Best in the area. No nonsense and great value. Monthly, weekly or daily tariffs. No need to sign up to a direct debit if you are unsure of your commitment. Loads of leg machines, cables, Smith machine, squat racks, machines to target all muscle groups, free weights, 50kg dumbbells!!!! Cardio machines. If Arnie came to Essex, this is the one he would visit. Treat yourself to a pint of 50g protein shake made on site, £3, bargain; or high protein/carb meals and other supplements on sale. Male and female regular users. If you're into training, one visit and you'll be hooked.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym for weight training, with cardio equipment and floor space- easily accessed from the A12 with ample parking there is an excellent range of equipment with further improvements to the layout being made all the time. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there’s a wide range of supplements available. There are one off training options and two available direct debit memberships if you don’t want to be tied into a 12 month contract. Would highly recommend.
