Winchester Gym : The Barn - Jogging On Gym

Fantastic experience: Because I’m working in the area for two weeks I was looking for a gym in the area that I wouldn’t have to pay for a subscription that I’d then be locked into or an expensive day rate, i came across this place and after a quick call with Luke who was able to give me a very reasonable rate and sort out my access to the gym. Great little gym with everything I needed and even though I was there at 1830hrs when you would normally expect it to be busy in my normal gym I was the only one there so half hoping this review doesn’t ruin this for me next time I’m working in the area and come here again.

Fantastic experience: It's the best kept secret in Hampshire. I love supporting local businesses, but I was ready to get sucked in to the big Winchester corporate gym system. I had a bad experience there, so looked elsewhere and found The Barn. My experience has been fantastic. Luke got me set up immediately and I've done my first few weeks there. Close enough to Winchester I can get there and back on my lunch break. It feels like a private gym because no one is there around midday! The gym itself has everything I need - mats, kettle bells, free weights, benches, Squat racks, etc. It's the best decision I could have made - I actually look forward to going which makes a massive difference. Do yourselves a favour and join this gym!

Positive experience: Really nice personal gym that delivers all the major tools and equipment to keep fit and achieve goals It's a bit of a diamond really as it's almost always quiet and exclusive. The memberships are very competitive and the trainer is top notch as well. Highly recommend the PT and gym to anyone that wants to get or maintain fitness without waiting for machines and weights to be available

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. The best in Winchester. Old fashioned weight room with a great atmosphere. Luke, the owner, allows chalk, noise, heavy weights and pretty much anything else as long as you clean up after yourself and are courteous. Therefore, it attracts good users and everyone respects the equipment and members
