Dumfries Y

Welcome to Dumfries Y Gymnastics Academy, the heart of gymnastics development in Dumfries and Galloway! Our club, established in 1977, is dedicated to nurturing gymnasts of all ages and abilities in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. As a registered charity, we are proud to operate from our modern facilities in both Dumfries and Annan, designed specifically for gymnastics training.

At our academy, we focus on building confidence, coordination, strength, and balance through a variety of gymnastics classes. From toddlers to advanced competitive squads, we cater to children of all ages with tailored programs that encourage personal growth and skill advancement. Our classes range from 'Fun4Baby' for the littlest ones, to intense training sessions for elite gymnasts aspiring to compete at national and international levels.

Our qualified coaches, many of whom are former gymnasts themselves, are passionate about gymnastics and dedicated to everyone who steps onto the mat. They ensure that each session is not only fun but also focused on skill development and progression.

We offer a wide spectrum of programs including Men's Artistic Gymnastics, Women's Artistic Gymnastics, floor and vault, and recreational classes, all designed to instill a love for the sport while developing critical physical skills.

Dumfries Y Gymnastics Academy is also affiliated with the Scottish Gymnastics Association, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of athletic competition and child safety. Join us to witness the transformation as your child embraces the world of gymnastics and achieves new milestones in a facility equipped with cutting-edge training apparatus. Come and explore all the exciting opportunities we have to offer!
