Fantastic experience: Nic is incredible. His expertise, knowledge in the field in second to none. I came to see him with quite a challenging background, took me on, managed to get me engaged and committed to my long term goals, guided me in losing weight that I never managed to lose sustainably in the past 20 years and developping a new lifestyle that will have a huge impact in my quality of life moving forward. His coaching is on point and our conversation always fun, inspiring and interesting - and i need it when i need distraction from the intense workout. Thank you Nic for your continued support and guidance.
Fantastic experience: So I'm heading (well) into my 40's with two young kids and the exercise has never really got going and the weight has been creeping up, and finally I decide to do this the right way and see someone who knows what they're talking about, can motivate me, and keeps me accountable to someone other than just myself! See, I've never managed consistency when it comes to diet or exercise. Enter Nick stage left - After four months training with Nick and tracking macros with an app (not as hard as it sounds once you get used to it) I'm down from heading towards 30% body fat and obesity to around 17% body fat which is in the healthy range. On average that's about 1lb-ish a week so no extreme diet or weight loss needed just consistently eating a little bit less than I need and a great training plan. I also feel so much better (except, y'know, DOMS!) and look like a Greek god. And the best bit is none of it was hard! Ok, that's a bit of a lie but training with Nick we have a great laugh and plenty of banter, when I can breath, and he breaks down the nutrition to make it straight forward - don't get me wrong, the exercise isn't easy and gets harder as I get better, and thinking about and planning your food takes practice, but none of it has felt like a chore and seeing the results makes it that much easier to see it through. Oh and not quite a Greek god, yet, but I'm playing the long game so bring on the next 4 months, year, etc :D
Fantastic experience: I started a challenge with Krissy at the beginning of the summer with the aim to get stronger and learn the correct techniques for strength building. I was not disappointed, 6 weeks later, I felt fitter, stronger and had the knowledge (and confidence) to use the equipment I had never previously dared to before. That, along with Krissy’s continued support on nutrition and good habit forming techniques, as well as being an all round joy to work out with, has left me wanting to continue on this path for longer than just a 6 week challenge. A new way of life!
Fantastic experience: Nick took me on as a challenge, because I had a stroke 2 years earlier. I found him very patient and knowledgeable. I certainly recommend him.
Fantastic experience: 2 years ago I was extremely nervous of doing any exercise whatsoever, having not exercised since school and basically got myself into a bit of a mess, overweight with a bad knee etc……. I signed up with Nick and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Not only have I lost over 3 stone (and kept it off), the nutrition knowledge and deep understanding on the training side encouraged me to keep at it. He never shouted at me (I would have never gone back) but quietly and surely he encouraged me to persevere, it was exactly what I needed. The weight wasn’t the goal, getting the knee better and getting fitter was. I couldn’t recommend Nick highly enough and his online nutrition program is fantastic. After two full years my only regret is that I am no longer training with Nick as I have moved out of the area. It will be a tall order to find anyone as contentious, intuitive, caring, knowledgeable and patient as he genuinely is. I miss the sessions and I still have a long way to go, but he has given me all the tools I need to have a fitter future.
Fantastic experience: Nick has been absolutely fantastic. Everything you could want from a trainer, a deep knowledge of diet, excercise routines and fitness as well as being a friendly, genuine guy. Couldn't recommend him and his services more!
