At our Kickboxing gym, we offer everything you need to elevate your fitness game. Whether your goal is to build strength, boost confidence, improve coordination, or just enjoy an intense cardio workout, our kickboxing sessions will keep you coming back for more. Our training covers it all—from cardio conditioning and self-defense to martial arts techniques and one-on-one sparring.

Our state-of-the-art gym is fully equipped with a boxing ring, a wide range of punch, kick, and wall bags, pads, and all the tools you need for effective training throughout the year. We actively participate in fight meetings and competitions across the country and internationally, providing you with the opportunity to showcase your skills on a larger stage. Plus, with regular gradings, you’ll have the chance to continually advance as a fighter and earn recognition for your hard work and dedication. In your first class, you’ll be introduced to basic techniques like punches, kicks, and footwork. Expect a mix of cardio, strength training, and skill-building exercises. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner—our instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring you’re comfortable and confident as you learn.

Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely, such as a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. As you advance, you might consider investing in hand wraps and gloves, but we can provide those for beginners.

No prior experience or specific fitness level is required to start kickboxing. Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels, from complete beginners to experienced fighters. You can work at your own pace, and our instructors will tailor the training to your current fitness level.

For beginners, we provide all the necessary equipment, including gloves, pads, and bags. As you progress, you might want to purchase your own gloves and wraps for comfort and hygiene. Eventually, you may also consider investing in shin guards, a mouthguard, and other personal gear.

The frequency of your training depends on your goals, but most beginners start with 2 sessions per week. Consistency is key to seeing improvements in fitness, strength, and technique. As you become more comfortable, you may choose to train more frequently.

Safety is a top priority in our classes. We teach proper technique to minimise the risk of injury and ensure that all participants train in a controlled and supportive environment. Beginners start with low-impact exercises and gradually build up intensity as they gain confidence and skill.

Yes, kickboxing is an excellent full-body workout that combines cardio, strength training, and high-intensity intervals, making it highly effective for burning calories and losing weight. Regular training can also boost your metabolism and improve overall fitness.

Realistic sparring is a critical component of our competition preparation. We carefully match you with sparring partners who challenge you and push your limits while ensuring safety and controlled aggression.

Fantastic experience: I started Kickboxing 2 years ago to get fit whilst having fun. Fighting was never an intention of mine, but I naturally progressed in that direction. I have since been unbeaten in all pre-matched bouts both light continuous and full contact, recently becoming double Southern Area Champion in two organisations. Kickboxing has been so rewarding for me, has helped me gain confidence, get fit and I have so much fun whilst doing so.
