Fantastic experience: Best Gym around. Staff are friendly and happy to help with all fitness needs and it has an amazing community atmosphere. If you're interested in strongman this is the gym to be at. *Update* it has even more strongman kit now to suit your training even better

Fantastic experience: After a while of training at a comercial gym, not progressing, and training through an injury I decided to join New Level. Their in-house sport therapist fixed me up and thanks the expertise of the staff (and members) I've managed to smash PRs and improve all around. The gym has absolutely eveything you need to focus on strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding and general fitness. the classes look absolutely fantastic as well. have a look on the facey and insta!!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the country, anything you need it's there. Amazing community. No matter what fitness goal you have there's equipment and PT's to support it. There's no gym that could even come close to NLG. Bonus fact, the owner is an absolute legend.

Strength gyms and free weights and such can be quite intimidating but the atmosphere of friendliness and the genuine feeling that everyone wants you to succeed while having fun really does make this a gym in a million

The group workouts are absolutely fantastic and the general vibe around the place is 2nd to none . Been to several gyms over my 22 years of training and there really isn't a place like New Level Gym . I highly recommend the place to anyone wanting to start / re start training . The results speak for themselves .

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to countless gyms over the years, that all have the usual edgy crowd and/or spice boys that are unaware you have muscle in your lower half! NLG however, filled with great staff, great members and brilliant equipment. The staff are always willing to help and don’t expect you to pay for this service. This place rescued me from a mentally dark place and I’ll forever be grateful. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Trained at, coached in, and worked out in countless gyms across 20 years throughout the UK. Nowhere compares to the camaraderie, friendliness, cleanliness and feeling of this place. Everyone is lovely, no egos even though there are guys there that are more or less professional athletes. Classes always ran professionally and equipment is top notch. Wouldn't train anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Having trained in quite a few gyms, New Level is the one that feels like home. Great equipment, plenty of classes for all the masochists and a fantastic community made up of the members and staff. Keep smashing it.

Fantastic experience: If you want community…look no further than New Level..this gym isn’t just like any gym it’s a family and they welcome anyone new with open arms, the facilities are amazing, from free weights to strongman/powerlifting equipment, weight lifting machines to cardio machines, from HIIT classes to CrossFit classes, Yoga and Olympic weight lifting classes…there’s something for everyone! Not to mention the new New Level strong man competitions that have started which are great fun, fantastic family day out and a great atmosphere, highly recommend this gym and it’s facilities. They also have in house PTs with huge amounts of knowledge, also you can pay as you go or pay a monthly membership which is ideal!

Fantastic experience: My bicep circumstance has increased by 12cm and the DMs on the gram are lit since I've started training there I'm that massive I've had to move house because the front door isn't wide enough. Even got a disabled badge for my car because I can't usually walk into asda from the car park because of the sick leg pump. Highly recoms.

Fantastic experience: Took part in a beginners Strongman competition here. Wonderfully managed by Luke and his team, an absolutely fantastic bunch. Real welcoming and supportive environment. Equipment was in brilliant condition and made for a great competition. Honestly had one of the best competition days ever, well done to all those involved.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at New Level for 3 years now. Nowhere in the North East will you find a gym with an atmosphere like this one. From the minute I stepped through the door I've felt nothing but support from all of the staff but in particular the owner - Luke. He's not just passionate about his business seeing success, he's passionate about seeing your success!Thats the person touch I feel is lacking elsewhere. I've had experience in both following a training plan and being trained by a PT. There isnt a person in that gym who doesnt want the best for you. Its a wicked place and we've all grown to be a big family. Awesome kit available to use for a very reasonable price. Wouldn't reccomend anywhere else.
