Fantastic experience: I was in Yatton for 3 weeks and I needed a place to workout. I am so happy that I visited Joe and the wonderful members at CommandoFit Bristol. What a class act. No matter your fitness level you will find your place here. The workouts challenged me at the right level, the equipment is plentiful and community is super welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I started doing Personal Training to learn a bit about sparring and improve my general level of fitness. The sessions have been brilliant. Joe knows just how far to push me but also can spot when I’m flagging and reduces the pace. Totally recommended even for oldies like me. Joe Great Job

Fantastic experience: After training here for over a year then moving away I miss CommandoFit! Loved the mix of HIIT, barbell work and Olympic lifting. All the coaches are super supportive, straight talking and friendly. There’s a great sense of community. A lot of people train hard but everyone is welcome to do what they can and get what they try out of the classes. There is plenty of equipment which is in good condition and Joe make sure it stays that way ;-). Can’t fault it, but stretch in your own time after the sessions.

All I can say is that Commando Fit Bristol has matched that community spirit, everyone has made me feel welcome, I felt awkward when I first joined but people came up and said hello. Fantastic experience: A welcoming, clean and brilliantly set up CrossFit style gym without front or pretentiousness. Anyone is welcome, and after a serious shoulder injury and year off work outs, I felt happy and comfortable to give a workout a go with no obligation to join. The sense of community there is second to none and it’s become a real hub in the local area.

Everyone's out there to help each other, this gym is for all levels of fitness and with the support system you'll see an increase in no time. Real friendly bunch and all very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I signed up while I was in between moving house and staying with the family, and I got about a month of in gym workouts before Covid hit, in the Gym Joe made me feel welcome and took the time to help improve my technique and during lock down continued to deliver amazing service. He really goes above & beyond for the members, he encouraged me to get in the best shape of my life during a global pandemic! Fair play. The members are all super friendly and encourage each other on a daily basis, best gym I've ever been part of, it's not just a gym you go to, work out and that's it. It's a community where everyone pushes each other to get the most out of it. I've moved house now and a bit gutted I can't continue with it, but will be making visits whenever I'm in the area! Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym and class set up. Well equipped with high spec and decent equipment (sometimes functional fitness gyms feel it’s an excuse to scrimp of good equipment/setup - but not at Commando). Whether your starting getting into the gym or an old hand, the classes get you working hard and great team spirit so everyone’s encouraging each other to push. Caters to all levels, including elderly classes and children’s. Personal Training is also on offer. Has open gym facility too so you can pop in and work on something specific to your needs. Joe - ex Royal marine - who owns, runs and takes classes is professional and couldn’t be more welcoming.

Fantastic experience: This place is, without a doubt, the best gym there is. Makes no difference what your fitness level is, the coaches will adapt the workout/weight/movement to suit you either way. The coaches, well, they’re the best I feel 100% safe with them and never feel stupid asking stupid questions! The timetable is a mini masterpiece, offering plenty of classes and open gym time with a variety of coaches and sessions. Gymnastics, strength, hiit, mobility- you name it. And to top it off everyone is really friendly, helpful and encouraging. Love it. Get involved

Fantastic experience: Love this place! After stumbling across Joe and the gym not long after it opened through a friend, I'm now travelling well out of my way to be able to train at this facility. The support, the community, the equipment and the facility are all fantastic. Joe and the other coaches have got your back 100% of the way. They are experienced, knowledgeable and committed to helping members get the best possible results and have the best experience. If you're on the fence, do it, now!

Fantastic experience: Having only started commando fit at the beginning of July it has been the best decision I’ve made. Joe is a great trainer who motivates you at all times and makes sure you see your progress even during tough sessions. I’ve always found gyms daunting and intimidating, however this gym has eased my anxiety completely. Everyone at the gym is very friendly and encouraging. I’m so pleased I joined!
