Fantastic experience: Top gym! Top Atmosphere! Top Equipment! If you're into lifting this is the place.

Fantastic experience: Proper gym! Great if you take training seriously. Lots of nice kit, good loud music and Spotify on a tablet on the wall to choose a playlist. The speakers have good bass which I love, really helps you feel the energy from the music. Small but well maintained toilets. Very easy to sign up and train. I was in the area for a week leading up to a bodybuilding show. Signed up for a week pass, got the app, scanned the barcode on the door, in I went to train. Love it! They had a competition bench press and plates too, proper powerlifting squat rack, lots of great machines too. Best gym in the area by far. Check it out!

Becks and Tommy are just the most supportive and welcoming owners, and are always there to help everyone achieve their goals. Definitely worth visiting!

Fantastic experience: Ever joined a new gym for a year upfront without even going to see it? Crazy right… that’s what I did! I had it on good authority I was going to love Fortress and they wasn’t wrong! Tommy and Becks are the most welcoming people I have ever met and the kit is second to none. Fortress is a great space for anyone, people of all age, size, fitness levels and all walks of life walk through those doors. It’s a place where there is no judgement from anyone. I’ve been to many other gyms and there is no other gym around that has the same comradery feel that you get at Fortress. You aren’t just a number on a fob when you walk through those doors you become part of a community Fortress is a friendly, family run well equipped gym, everyone is made to feel welcome and egos are left at the door

Friendly people, great space and equipment which is suited to beginners and the professionals. The owners don't just preach. You'll find them in there, lifting with everyone else. Get on their Socials and see the amazing kit they've got on offer.

Tom and Becs always have time for us, and make my wife and I feel like we're part of a nuturing community that really care about our progress. Fantastic experience: Fortress Gym in Stroud is welcoming and extremely well-equipped. I'm often on the road for work and was looking for a top gym in Stroud to train in. Fortress Gym has all the equipment an experienced lifter could wish for. Plenty of barbells and plates, dedicated lifting platforms and even a monolift! Their recovery room is awesome and they even have a protein slushy machine! I would highly recommend Fortress Gym to anyone looking for a gym membership in Stroud or is passing through and needs a day or week pass for a great gym with a great community.
