Fantastic experience: Owner Paul has established a fantastic local facility here! Has to be considered one of the best gyms in the northwest and it’s right on our doorsteps. I’ve certainly no excuses not to go and it’s transforming my fitness and health, both mind and body ‍♀️ Thank you Paul!

Fantastic experience: Honestly this is an absolute hidden gem! In terms of kit (and I’m a big kit geek) Paul the owner has chosen some brilliant pieces, from prime to Arsenal strength! parking is good, atmosphere in the gym is genuinely so welcoming, honestly I can’t fault this place!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a day pass in the area and it didn’t disappoint. This gym is the opposite of a classic commercial gym. You can tell it was made by passionate people for passionate people. Not only they provide a wide range of good quality equipment but also services such as body massages, sunbed, coaching and meal prep. The owner is really friendly, I encourage you to go for a tour!! I will come back

Loads of amazing equipment and machines, all well maintained, beautifully clean, air con and an environment and atmosphere you wont find anywhere else! Also an in gym shop for all the supps/meal preps you'll need with the option to request anything not in stock to be custom ordered. An absolute hidden gem of a gym!

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym for approx 6 months and I have to say that it’s the best gym I’ve ever trained at. It doesn’t matter what age, level of training you’re at or what your goals are, the gym will be able cater for you. The gym is like a community with a whole mix of people in there. It’s a super friendly atmosphere. The staff are all helpful and have an in depth knowledge of the equipment. They will even take time to give you a run through of exercises you’re not sure about. Keep up the great Paul, Tracy and staff!!

Fantastic experience: Extremely clean and well equipped gym - including some niche pieces like safety bar, trap bar and 60kg dumbbells as well as a surfeit of plates - all at a very reasonable price; I paid £3.50 for a one-off session

Fantastic experience: I have been to many gyms and had many PT's in my life but have never felt as comfortable in a gym than I have in Chalk and Steel. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. The gym is clean. Paul, the owner and my PT is so knowledgeable its scary. He really knows his stuff. It's impressive. Love coming to this gym and will continue to do so.
