Fantastic experience: I was training with Ben for a year and a half. During that time I managed to shift all my baby weight which was 16kg, learnt new healthy eating habits, got strong and fit. For someone who never exercised regularly I actually have grown to like it! Ben is totally committed to his clients and wants them to achieve their goals. He’s always responsive and supportive even during weekends he’s happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend him to anyone whether you are a beginner or advanced.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with James at CMP who is very supportive and has helped me achieve a weight loss of 10kgs. I feel so much better and have gone down a whole dress size . I thoroughly enjoy the workouts and have increased weights on a regular basis. It’s a great environment and all the trainers are very friendly. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Whenever I read someone saying “If I can do it then anyone can do it” I always think “Well, there’s anyone…and then there’s me” and that’s exactly how I felt when I first contacted Chris Mason Performance, I felt pretty hopeless. In May 2023 I was hospitalised with severe sepsis, my recovery was incredibly slow as a result of how poorly I had been and, due to my illness, I lost my right leg below the knee, parts or most of my fingers and the toes on my left foot. The illness, the surgeries, the physical changes to my body and not knowing what my future would look like took a massive toll on my mental and physical health, I was hardly moving and was comfort eating and by the time I was weighed for my first prosthetic leg in October 2023 I saw a number on the scale that I didn’t want to see again. I knew then that I had to do something about it but I was so scared of failing. When I started learning to walk again with my prosthetic leg I combined this with a reduced calorie diet and started to slowly see some of the weight coming off but it didn’t feel like enough, like I was doing enough. I was discharged from my rehabilitation physiotherapy in May 2024, having made a mutual decision that we had taken things as far as they could go in terms of my walking, I could walk competently, albeit with a cane at times but I still felt I had more to give and to work on and so I contacted Chris Mason. I knew that I didn’t have the confidence to go into a commercial gym and I wanted to try training in a quieter environment. Right from the initial phone call with Chris I knew I had made the right decision. I met with James (who was my coach) a few days later and I was so nervous, the walk from the car was HARD, I didn’t know how I’d do, would I even be able to do any of the exercises with my prosthetic leg? How strong was I, given everything I had been through? Was I just wasting everyone’s time? In the end, my fears were completely unfounded - Chris had been right, James was the perfect coach for me. I started working with him 4 times a week and I, honestly, loved every single second, he was so encouraging and I was so excited seeing what I could do and how far I could go. The change in my physical and mental health since I started working with James has been immense, I am so much stronger than I thought was possible and the weight loss and the way my body has changed with training has helped to boost my confidence and self esteem no end. James helped me with my nutrition and now my relationship with food and my approach to dieting has completely changed and is much more sustainable. I cannot recommend Chris Mason Performance highly enough, the combination of training and guidance on nutrition is such a powerful formula, ultimately it is up to you to commit and want to change and achieve the goals that you have set for yourself but if you’re serious then they are too and they will give you the tools that will help you get to where you want to be. Before I started I had visions of a PT session being an hour of being shouted at, ending with me leaving in tears but this couldn’t have been further from the truth, the environment is supportive, knowledgeable and focussed. James pushed me further than I thought I could go (who invented battle ropes??) but never further than I could give and I am so grateful that I got to meet him, he and the staff at CMP have had such an incredibly positive influence on my life. A year ago I was still recovering from my amputation and was scheduled to receive my first prosthetic leg at the end of October 2023, now I’ve just been measured for my fourth prosthetic leg, I’m close to my desired weight and have set a goal to run a 10k in 2025. Thank you so much James, you’re a superstar!!

Fantastic experience: I started at CMP with Laura in February 2024 and I have gained so much knowledge through Laura’s coaching in this short time . Laura has been through the process herself and fully understood how I was feeling and provided great support and tips to keep me motivated. Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with coach James for the last 12 weeks, I have really enjoyed myself and can’t believe what I’ve accomplished. I was very skeptical at first and didn’t think I could do it but once I started seeing progress I really got into it. Fantastic experience: At age 62 I have lost over 2 stone and my Blood pressure has gone down to a normal level as it was at a high level before. This is the first gym I have actually joined ever and I have loved it I was on 3 tablets a day and now I’ve reduced it to just the one now thanks to training here at CMP with Coach James. My general health and fitness is a lot better and my body shape has changed dramatically. I couldn’t do one press up when I first started and now I can do 50 a day which is a massive achievement for me . Unfortunately I still hate the Sled lol but I will continue to do it Thank you to James as he has made this a lifestyle change for me

His passion for training and helping people reach their fitness goals is evident from the first meeting with him and in every single session. He spends a lot of time working out who you are, what your goals are, what your own life entails in terms of priorities, life and work commitments etc so that your programme is realistic and works for you. He also spends a lot of time tinkering with the programme to help achieve your goals following your feedback.This was really important to me as I have a very busy demanding job. I feel l, and look great and I am in the best shape I’ve been in years!! It’s also improved my outlook, my overall wellbeing and ability to prioritise my goals for myself. Fantastic experience: The results speak for themselves but more than that Ben has been very patient and understanding. At CMP they take the time to tailor the programs and nutrition to the individual, acting on feedback from clients to ensure goals are met in a safe and sustainable manner. Fantastic experience: I have been on a CMP personal training programme with James for 6 weeks now and this is everything I hoped it would be. I am an active person but only felt comfortable doing cardio, and nutrition just meant watching how many desserts i ate. Its also significant birthday this year so I wanted a new adventure, a physical transformation (building muscle) lifting heavy weights, while avoiding injury and eating the right food. James has given me a varied and achievable program of exercise and nutrition which has got me to my target weight in just 6 weeks! I'm seeing weekly progress in the weights I'm able to lift and the definition in my muscle areas. James' friendly and knowledgeable approach means I look forward to every session. Most importantly for me, I feel more confident about strength training and have a more holistic idea of what healthy eating looks like on the plate for the future.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Chris for around a year now. When I first went to Chris I was fed up trying different diets and different programmes, but not achieving my goals. With Chris, in 16 weeks I achieved a massive transformation. I went from skinny fat to the best I have ever looked...I finally could see my abs! Chris is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He has clients from all walks of life and he produces amazing results! I highly recommend CMP.

Fantastic experience: I started in June with CMP and James. I'd been through a battle to take charge of my health, fitness and weight and after getting a wakeup call from my doctor I decided now was the time. I'd saved for a gastric sleeve but friends talked me out of it and I kept driving past CMP and saw it as a sign so decided to spend the money there. I was crying (pathetic I know) when I signed up over the phone with Chris and James had to practically drag me in on day one my anxiety was so high and wow. James has genuinely saved me! He's been amazing and I don't know where I'd be now if I hadn't started this journey and had his support and guidance through the whole thing. I've gone basically from 100kg to 84kg and this has given me the confidence and knowledge on what to do now on my own. I’d have done better but life got in the way at times and still James was so supportive and even when I was beating myself up he could see I was still making progress and reassured me. I now know how to manage and balance my diet without fads or stupid choices. How to make good food choices and how to manage exercise. I can't recommend CMP more highly. Yeah it's pricey but actually if you compare to most places in public gyms with a PT, it's pretty reasonable to have a near private space with a trainer, in fact it's amazing value for money just because it is practically private. Honestly, I can't praise everyone there and specifically James enough. This has been life changing and life saving for me so thank you!
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Chris for 6 months and it has honestly been close to life changing. I've got better more consistent results, achieved more in the gym than I ever would have on my own and my mental health is significantly better than when I started and that doesn't even take into account the dramatic physical changes. Chris and his team are so professional and nothing is too much bother. I'm looking forward to moving forward in the new year and achieving even more. If you're on the fence about whether to contact them, now is the time to trust a professional to direct you and put the effort in to invest in yourself.

Not only do I feel physically and mentally prepared for my event, but I've also lost fat and gained muscle in a relatively short period without the usual severe restrictions you see on a lot of programs,This feels sustainable. Fantastic experience: I never believed it would be possible! 2 stone lighter, happier, sleeping better. All down to James & Chris's patience, methodical application of basic dietary advice (nothing cranky, no fasting or crazy dieting) and supervised exercise regime. Fantastic experience: Ben has been brilliant. He understands what's needed, explains clearly. He makes training fun and pushes me when needed. Fantastic experience: I spoke with Chris about what I wanted to achieve along with my previous physical activity, diet, ongoing injuries and general lifestyle. He created a bespoke training and nutrition plan for me and within 3 months my body was unrecognisable. I came to Chris at 92kg with a fair bit of belly fat, love handles and not a much muscle as I felt my exercise regime would have given me. Within 3 months I’d dropped 10kg following Chris’ nutrition and training schedule whilst gaining muscle and consistently hitting PBs at the gym. I’d not seen my abs for about 15 years and I had a visible 6 pack and felt absolutely incredible in comparison to 3 months prior. The support I was given was second to none. Chris and his team are always checking in and on hand to answer any questions about the programme they’ve made for you. Their knowledge and enthusiasm is unmatched. The atmosphere in the gym is brilliant, everyone’s in the same boat so it creates a fantastic community where you feel supported whatever your experience level is. Fantastic experience: I rocked up at CMP in mid-July 2022 knocking 50, feeling tired and decidedly out of shape, having put on extra weight during two years of pandemic-prompted working from home. I was also a tad sceptical having read the reviews on here -- could a small gym based 5-6 minutes walk from home really be this good? The answer was an emphatic yes! I've now been working with Ben Duggan at CMP for 8 months, and can honestly say it's been a remarkable experience. Tough at times—but the best kind of hard work, where you can see and feel the payoff days and weeks later. I've lost around 15kg in weight, which is great of course -- but more important than that, I feel fitter, stronger and more energetic than I have for years. What I value most about CMP's approach is that it's grounded in hard science -- including physiology, nutrition, hypertrophy and psychology -- but also highly personalised and adaptive to real-world rates of progress, and to the occasional setbacks that we all experience, whether due to work, holiday or illness. Ben has been a real pleasure to work with throughout -- you simply couldn't ask for a more supportive and experienced guide on your journey back to fitness. After six months of doing three weekly sessions with Ben at CMP in Sheffield, in January 2023, I moved to training online, when I had to spend 2-3 months abroad for work. This has obviously required a bit more effort on my part -- finding a gym abroad, and getting to grips with the Trainerize app -- but Ben has been there every step of the way, offering practical advice and encouragement, and checking in daily to see how I'm getting on. Now I'm looking forward to getting home to Sheffield and combining face-to-face training with online while I continue pushing towards my target weight and fitness! One of the best things about working with CMP is their approach is essentially "teach someone to fish, and you feed them for a lifetime" applied to fitness, diet and nutrition. I feel 100% confident that the skills and techniques that Ben has taught me, and the resulting improvements that I've seen in my health, fitness and wellbeing, are here to stay. I'm hugely grateful to Ben and CMP for that.

Fantastic experience: My time with Ben, my PT, And at Chris Mason Performance, has been totally transformative. My sessions with Ben were extremely informative, challenging, fun and has got my 60 year old body into the best shape ever. I feel strong, confident, knowledgeable and committed to my journey of staying strong and healthy. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ben for just over a year now and it really has been a worthwhile and great investment for me. Not only do I feel and look stronger, I have learnt so much about fitness and exercise. I have a lot more confidence now with my workouts, and feel able to walk into the free weights section in a gym without feeling overwhelmed, something I couldn’t even imagine doing a few years ago. Ben is a wonderful trainer and has somehow created training programmes for me that I actually enjoy and look forward to. I’ve always been worried about my form for certain exercises and Ben always takes the time to teach me properly and recommend alternatives for exercises I’m unable to do. He holds me accountable with the use of their training app and the weekly check ins, advises me about nutrition and reminds me the importance of all factors that impact us, like sleep and stress. He has a wealth of knowledge regarding fitness, as do all the trainers at CMP, and that passion for exercise is contagious, it makes me motivated to keep trying and focus more to better my well-being. For anyone who feels like they’re stuck in a rut with their fitness, could benefit from tailored structured training and nutrition programmes or just want to feel better and stronger, I would definitely recommend joining CMP.

Fantastic experience: Ben at CMP is hands down the best trainer I’ve had. He is extremely knowledgeable about exercising and nutrition and is very encouraging. The regular variations in routines helps to keep you motivated and he constantly pushes you to improve technique and overall fitness. Fantastic experience: I’ve trained here for 6 months with James Borden as my trainer and achieved great results that I’ve never been able to hit when training myself! James has been great in keeping me motivated, pushing me each week, and challenging me. The setup they have is fantastic, having 2 weekly scheduled sessions helped keep me in a routine and gave me consistency in my training which was probably one of main downfalls before. I got leaner, fitter and stronger, achieving my goals to look and feel better! I’d highly recommend James and CMP to anyone! Fantastic experience: A fantastic experience from start to finish. Chris has enabled and supported a transformation that I couldn’t have achieved alone. Knowledgeable, experienced and incredibly approachable (however be prepared for accountability!!) I would highly recommend to anybody who is wanting to make a change and commit to the challenge. Through a structured training and nutritional program I have lost 15kg’s and it’s has had a huge impact on my overall fitness and productivity at work and home. Fantastic experience: Working with Ben at CMP for nearly 6 months has been excellent and a decision I am really pleased I made but one I wish I’d made earlier! He’s an excellent PT, has got me motivated, fitter, healthier and achieving the results I wanted. Fantastic experience: I started to train with Chris (CMP) in February 2023.. Previously, I have tried different sorts of training and nutrition programmes with PT'S for years, with no actual explanation of the logic behind their suggested programmes. No wonder despite working hard and dieting, I never achieved the body transformation I wished for. Finally I decided to start training with Chris who is truly an outstanding trainer. Fantastic experience: I've been training with James for over half a year and I've lost 28 lbs and still keep dropping. James has developed a reasonable and flexible training program and diet plan for me. His training program is sustainable, easy to stick to, and progressive. It's taken me from someone who didn't like going to the gym so much to actually enjoying the process of exercising rather than something I had to do to lose weight. The diet plans and nutritional ratios allow me to enjoy the foods I like to eat instead of strictly eating "healthy foods", which makes it easier to control my diet. Even if I sometimes eat a lot of food because of mood swings, James will arrange reasonable diet break for me, redesign my eating plan to let me lose weight again, and don't need to feel hungry. Having the ability to manage my weight has freed me from all the anxiety I would have over overeating, which has made the weight loss process less of a grind. James is a very supportive and patient person. My past trainer often made me feel anxious because they asked me to follow a strict diet plan and made too hard a training plan, and such an arrangement made me unable to stick to it too much long and painful process. If you are also looking for a professional trainer who always supports you like a friend, James is a great choice! Other CMP trainer are also very professional and friendly. I highly recommend everyone to choose healthy and scientific exercise here

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Ben at Chris Mason Performance for 8 months now and cannot recommend the service enough!! Ben has helped me reach my goals of improving my posture, losing weight, getting stronger and fitting back into my clothes. Ben has helped me achieve a healthy balanced diet which is not a burden and I still enjoy the food I eat. This is not your typical personal trainer, Ben has tailored my workouts, ensured am using the equipment properly, taught me how to isolate muscle groups and how to get the most of my training sessions. In doing so I am able to maintain and continue progressing on my goals. Am now moving on to the online training due to work commitments and I except the service to just as excellent with the new trainerize app!

Fantastic experience: I began working out with Chris almost 1 year ago. My son was 3 years old and I just felt that I've lost myself taking care of my family during the pandemic. I started following Chris on Instagram during several months and then I decided to join online coaching. I had always been sedentary, no experience with gym equipment or diets, so everything was very new to me. Chris's explanations were very clear and easy to understand. He has a lot of advises, recipes, tutorials and an app that helps you monitor your progress. Basically the method consists of calorie intake, steps and workouts, and I promise that if you follow his instructions, you will get results. I've lost 8 kilograms, reduce 2 dress sizes and the shape of my body is like when I was a teenager. I've never feel frustrated with this method. Chris is a guru; he has a los of knowledge, experience and the communication is very personalized. Although it is an online coaching, Chris has always been there to solve my doubts, give me advise and motivate me. I highly recommend him, he has changed my life for better. I am a new person.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with James at CMP for 16 weeks and I cannot speak highly enough about him. I would not have any hesitation in recommending him, and the team at CMP, to anybody who is looking for a personalised training programme. James has been exceptional from day one and has made my gym experience not only a productive one but also really enjoyable. Having never set foot in a gym before, James' patience, manner and knowledge is exactly what I was looking for. James really took the time to understand me and my goals before setting out a programme to help me achieve them. Along the way, James helped me understand the importance of diet and macros, as well as the training programme itself. Fantastic experience: Tried everything to lose weight, gain some self confidence and being fit again Did the commercial gym stuff for a number of years doing the same exercises without knowing the correct way to perform or seeing any progress. Eating everything and anything without knowledge of calories, diet break etc Had enough of buying oversized clothing to cover ever expanding body Found CMP on Google and saw images of the results from every gender,race and body shapes having the same problem from the start to progressive weight loss. Signed up with Chris and found it wasn’t all about lifting weights correctly but about educating your mind and your body by watching videos through your portal for different stages of diet which I never knew existed and never taught in public gyms. Weekly check/in’s and discussions with Chris if you require any additional advice/support I have now seen unbelievable changes in my body by working with Chris and is now shaping up as it should be within 4 months No crash diets but eating correctly!! Self confidence has improved and now wearing clothing that fits correctly and not 4 times bigger to hide everything!! Definitely made the right choice!!!

Fantastic experience: Signing up to work with Chris is the best decision I have made in a very long time. Like many people I went to the gym but wasn’t consistent and probably gave up too easily. What I wanted was someone that would tell me what to do in the gym and when to do it. I also needed guidance on diet as no matter what I tried it never seemed to help. Chris offered all that and more. After working with Chris for just over six months I have never felt better. I feel body confident and am now comfortable in my clothes, although I need to buy new ones as they are all to big now! But it’s not only how you look on the outside, for me it’s how I feel on the inside and doing this programme has not only got me in great shape, but it’s improved my mental health immensely. Chris is always available to offer guidance and answer any questions, whilst also holding you accountable. The programme hasn’t been easy, but in my opinion nothing worth having comes easy. If you want to look and feel better I can’t recommend Chris enough, he’s amazing!
Fantastic experience: I had been following Chris for a while on Instagram and thought about joining his online programme earlier in the year. The books got closed and I regretted not signing up as I was still unhappy with where my body was. When his books next opened up I contacted Chris straight away and by the next day I had started his plan. I have completed several shorter term fitness plans before (insanity, couch 2 5k, the body coach) and although they did allow me to lose the weight and get in shape, I eventually put it back on. This time round I am now in a position where I have lost more weight than I said I wanted to at the start and am in a happy place and have just started my reverse diet so I learn how to maintain my current achievements and get stronger. It’s not been easy with the rest of the family eating bigger portions/naughtier food than me. But I have still been partial to the odd magnum, chocolate and my favourite cheese. I work shifts and have a job where I am mainly sat down, so having the flexibility to fit the workouts in at home around my shifts and on the days that suit me has been perfect. Having Chris there to hold me accountable has certainly made me think twice before I ate that extra snack etc. There have been weeks where my weight has plateaued or I’ve even gained a pound, but I know that it isn’t fat as I haven’t eaten the calories, low and behold a day or 2 later my weight is going down again. Although I could see the scales gradually going down, I didn’t feel like I was losing weight until I saw the progress photos, my waist is showing again. Other people said I was slim before, but I didn’t feel it and that was the key. I no longer have my muffin top overhanging my jeans, I’m on the tightest hole on my belt, I feel more body confident and my kids think I have muscles. I’m looking forward to learning the key to keeping it off and getting through the Christmas period with a plan to allow me to enjoy it without ruining all the good work I have done. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Chris for just over 6 months and have reached and maintained all my personal goals. These have included being fitter, stronger, losing the ‘lock down’ stone and being able to fit in and be comfortable in ALL my clothes. Fantastic experience: I started training with Chris in May 2021 after thinking about signing up with a personal trainer for many months. Having followed lots of different diets and exercise plans over the years, I still managed to gain weight to the point where I didn't recognise or like myself any more. Fantastic experience: I joined online training with Chris over three months ago with the main goal of losing weight. From the initial consultation and all the way through, everything has been so well thought out (including what to eat, when to eat, recipes provided, macros provided and the all important gym programs) and explained in a way that's really easy to understand. Whilst weight loss was my initial reason for joining, I think the main thing I'll take away from this, is the impact it's had on my overall wellbeing. Having much more energy, being more active outside of the gym, sleeping better and generally being in a much better mood. It's fair to see when I signed up for my initial 12 weeks I thought I was signing up for any other personal trainer. I was so pleased to discover how wrong I was! Fantastic experience: Over the last 12 weeks Chris has supported & encouraged me to lose almost 20lbs. His knowledge about training & diet is exceptional.
Fantastic experience: I came to CMP feeling exhausted and thoroughly run down. The nutrition programme reversed that quickly. Combined with the exercise programme the fat disappeared - and from all the places that I feared it never would. So, yes, I lost weight. The reason I am still there is that I have gained so much more: energy, self esteem, I can deal with stress so much more effectively, better skin, no more baggy eyes and much better sleep. The real proof of the pudding is that my daughter is following the same food programme not because I've told her to, but because she can see how much better I look and feel. I know it works and she can see that it works too. This can be a quick fix but for me it's been a lesson for life. If you're contemplating this programme I would recommend it - these guys have the keys to unlock the best version of you. Since the post above I've returned to CMP for online training. I felt run down after the first lockdown - the gym was closed and I'd spent too long with the same programme. With the online training I've lost the Covid extra and I'm really enjoying the new programmes, the food plan is easier to follow and there's more flexibility - I can budget calories for my beloved dark chocolate. The online training has really worked for me and it's reignited my love of training, I'm enjoying the challenge and I can really see and feel progress. The funny thing about getting results in this current situation is that it's not about fitting into a nice dress it's about looking at yourself in the mirror every day and not having to sigh and wonder how you're going to shift the extra pounds, it's about following a plan that really works.

Fantastic experience: `Chris has help me so much over these 12 weeks. I originally signed up as i was fed up with how my body look but i also wanted to learn how to work out properly as i have been to commercial gym before and was clueless about what equipment i should use and how to use it. As someone who never worked out before, nor know about the extend of food has an effect i am now leave with a wealth of knowledge thanks to chris, has that change my outlook on food and exercise The 1 - 1 sessions is what definitely what i needed! this gave me time to ask questions as well as having someone to make sure i was doing each exercise correctly but also explain to me why we work out in a certain way to get the most out of a workout, now i don't feel worried to push my self or to use weights! Above all, Chris is there to help you achieve the best you can. He has supported me during times where i lack motivation and ready to give up. he has been brilliant through the lockdown and still be able to progress and make visible changes, even when ive been stuck at home The changes to my body have been amazing to me, especially as someone who never use to go the gym or do daily movement. Fantastic experience: I started with Chris during lockdown as I felt it was the perfect time to cut down on body fat whilst maintaining my muscle mass. I think the most important thing is commitment and making sure you stick to the diet and workout plan. If you stick to the plan and are fully committed then results will follow inevitably. However, saying that, its not a magical process. A lot of hard work goes into the programme whether it is seeing what you eat or making sure you are working out. If you are serious about your goals then you are in the right hands as the knowledge Chris provides is second to none which you can apply for as long as you want to as its not just a process of getting lean or building muscle but also learning about your own body.

Fantastic experience: Trained with Matt - guided me through the 12 weeks with ease. The diet was manageable and I never felt hungry. The sessions always looked to push me without taking unnecessary risks of injury. Fantastic experience: I signed up to CMP in January as I'd tried all the fad diets and just couldn't seem to stick any of them out. I learnt alot in my consultation before I even started the training and Chris really listened to what I wanted to achieve which is why I took the decision to sign up. My trainer was Andy and he has been a great support throughout my sessions, teaching me the correct techniques for training and what foods to be eating alongside this. He really pushed me to keep going and know what I am capable of doing better than I did myself. I have been pushed to my limits and have learnt so much along the way that I can take away with me and put into practice on my own. All the trainers here are friendly and make you feel at ease whilst here which is a massive help! The best decision I have made and the most important thing I will take away from this is that you get out what you put in . I would love to continue my transformation journey at CMP but all good things come to an end!

Fantastic experience: I had originally been a client of CMP before Covvid 19 occurred. Through the epidemic, I cannot stress enough the support that myself has recieved. Not only did we receive check in and up lifting emails to see how the CMP members were all coping. We also had access to an online programme specifically designed for lockdown, not only was it tailored for the members who had there own equipment but it was also designed for the members who had very little equipment. Chris the owner of CMP created on online Zoom PT fitness programme which was taiolred to my physical needs and I personally cannot be more greatful. My progress throughout lockdown has been absolutely incredible, and to think this was all achieved by an online PT zoom experience. I would stress to anyone thinking about a personal trainer to certainly give Chris and the CMP team a call The support, results and venue have been incredible..

Fantastic experience: I contacted Chris Mason having struggled to reduce my weight and transform my body for a number of years. I started with a weight at 11 stone.12. Chris produced a training plan including macros and meal options to assist me. I followed this plan with training sessions on Zoom twice a week. Within 10 weeks my weight plummeted to 11 Stone 1, the lightest I have been for 20 years whilst starting to tone. Highly recommend Chris to anyone.

Fantastic experience: CMP is thorough personal training for people looking to work hard and achieve results. All workouts are one-to-one and every exercise I did was tailored for me, with my trainer (latterly Chris) monitoring technique and offering me motivation throughout. The key thing is that my trainer could react to my energy levels, technique and fatigue, making adjustments or encouraging me through key last reps. At CMP, you work to a programme with phases and are guided on diet throughout. The equipment is up-to-date and maintained, I was able to train at times convenient to me and the gym is never busy. If you're looking to commit and work hard....do it!

Fantastic experience: The hardest step is always the first and I’m so glad I stepped into CMP. Excellent facilities with superb and friendly staff, my body transformation started in January after admitting to myself that I needed a different approach to fitness. All was going great then lockdown, whereby Chris provided me with a specific tailored programme for me to carry on with. Lockdown lifted I was immediately back into the CMP gym. I’m 47 and had never done any weight training until I started training at CMP. After piling on too much excess weight, I am so thankful that took the decision to change my life and walked through the door. It’s hard work but enjoyable. I’ve been so impressed with my results that I’m now 2 weeks into another 12 week Elite programme. If you’re reading this review then I can only say just do it, you’ll never look back and the experience and education provided will change your life for the better. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend CMP. If you want a gym with a difference; 1:1 support and guidance from people who really know what they are doing - this is definitely the place you need to be. Andy is a great trainer, and helping to push me to levels I never thought I could achieve - am feeling motivated, healthier and always look forward to my sessions. Being able to trust your trainer because they really understand how to get you where you need to be - it's a differentiator. This is not your average gym (in a good way). Fantastic experience: I can’t thank a Chris and the team at CMP enough. I had to shift some weight due to health reasons. Chris put together a tailored program to suit my needs for the results I wanted to achieve. I’m now 11 weeks into a 16 week program and the results are amazing. All I have to do is stick to the diet Chris has put together for me, turn up and the rest is taken care of. Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with my assigned PT Andy for the last couple of months to help me with my fitness and to tone up - I found the sessions really enjoyable even though you have to work really hard. As I’m quite new to this Andy walked me through all the equipment and the routines making sure my technique was on point to make sure I was getting maximum benefit. Overall I feel in great shape and my posture has vastly improved and being a keen golfer I’ve noticed a considerable change in strength and stamina whilst out on the course. Highly recommend AF

Fantastic experience: I joined CMP two months ago as I was unhappy with my weight and my overall lifestyle. I needed 1 on 1 support to help me change my ways. I was paired up with steve and he has been fantastic he has supported and encouraged me from day one. In just two months i have lost just over a stone and gone down a dress size. Steve is very knowledgeable on nutrition and fitness and is always giving me healthy food tips and advice for fitness on days away from the gym. I would definitely recommend CMP to everyone. The other trainers are all friendly and the gym is never too over crowded so we get full use each session without having to wait for others to finish on machines. I cannot recommend CMP highly enough

Fantastic experience: I joined CMP on recommendation from a family member. I became a mother and was had too much baby weight. My goal was to shed 10kg weight and fit back into cloth size 10 in 12 weeks which I did achieve before 12 weeks. The diet is not difficult to follow if you have will power and when you are motivated by the amazing trainers. Matt is my personal trainer and he has always been so motivating and when one is so motivated and trained, no one can stop you to achieve your goal. My other trainers were also Jimmy and Andy which are equally amazing at what they do. I will definitely recommend CMP if someone is looking for weight loss or body building.

Fantastic experience: I have followed CMP on social media for several years, but it has never been practical for me to commit to a training programme involving regular attendance at the gym. When Chris introduced an online personal training offering during COVID-19 lockdown, this was a realistic option for me, so I took it. Training: My initial training programme was designed around my physical limitations and around the equipment I had available to me at home. It was well demonstrated and quickly adapted where required. My follow-up training programme built on my developing condition. All exercises were clearly explained. Chris’s experience is evident, even on a patchy zoom connection he knew just when to keep pushing me and when to cut me some slack. Nutriton: My nutritional plan was explained clearly, monitored regularly and all questions I had answered immediately. I was supplied with a lot of reference material and aspects of this were discussed during training where the information became relevant to that day’s situation. Support: This is where Chris excels. Obviously he has the knowledge and experience to back up the training and nutrition components of the programme, but he has also clearly worked hard to understand the psychological needs of the individual client, meeting you where you are at and encouraging you to consciously engage with the things that might be affecting your training. He has mature and versatile communication skills, and is able to tailor the information he is putting across to your knowledge and experience level. He is extremely perceptive, able to gauge your mood and capacity for training on any one day. Outcome: In 12 weeks I have lost 9kg in weight, 18cm of spare tyre from my waist and am comfortably in a 10/12 where I had been a 14/16. But that’s nothing compared to the psychological improvements I have seen. Chris has thoroughly overhauled my mindset and my attitudes towards food and exercise. I was not a ‘good’ client, I came to Chris with injuries and health problems, I hit setbacks during the 12 weeks, and struggled at times to comply with aspects of the programme for various reasons. At no stage was I met with sympathy or criticism, only empathy and constructive support to move forward. And I am left with a toolset I can apply to my own future transformation journey. I have no hesitation in recommending CMP.

Fantastic experience: No matter what diet or exercise I did I was not seeing any change in my body. My son recommended Cmp gyms as he went there to. After my initial consultation I booked in to start I was assigned a trainer but after a while they left. So moved over to Jimmy who is great at what he does (so are Chris, Matt & Andy). I can now see the changes in my body and also fit in to clothes I could not before which is amazing. Jimmy is a brilliant trainer and always on hand if I need any advice and explains everything fully. He really encourages me with every training session. If you are stuck in the same routine and not seeing results then don’t hesitate contact Cmp gym you definitely will not regret it. Fantastic experience: I joined CMP Gym In June 2020 to loose some body fat and generally tone up. Normal Gyms have no appeal for me, they can be too sweaty, too cliquey, too many poseurs, too many gym bunnies etc etc. They intimidate me and I don’t return so I waste my money ! CMP is different. It is 1-1 private personal gym and nutritional training. You can invest as much money & time as your goals and pockets allow to achieve the results you desire. My trainer “Jimmy” is a lovely young man who is passionate about turning your goals into reality and will support you both practically and emotionally throughout your journey. His delivery was less drill sergeant and more army padre which suited my personality to a tee. We found humour to lighten the sessions and the workload was managed with gentle pushing and lots of encouragement from the sidelines. I was struggling with putting my nutrition plan into place at the start and Jimmy helped me find the best way forward whilst keeping me on track. After almost 12 weeks I had reduced my body fat, gained visible definition in my arms, bum and legs and my back and tummy were thinner and flatter. Whilst I had initially aimed to continue training for 20weeks, unfortunately I have had to “halt” my training due to scheduled surgery. However I managed to seriously improve my all round fitness and as soon as I am able I will resume my training ASAP. Fantastic experience: I have been driving past CMP everyday for 5 years and decided to give it a go earlier this year as my weight was at its highest and fitness at its lowest. I can't describe how professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic this team is. I have been training with Andy who is always positive, so patient and attentive to questions or concerns. He is an excellent coach who encourages you along the way and keeps things light hearted. He is in regular contact to ensure the nutrition and cardio is followed through. I was not a "gym person", let alone someone that did weights. But there is so much care given to ensure you train safely on machines, that it now feels completely normal. The training is intense however you can choose to go slower to fit your job/life. I have also got to know the owner Chris, Jimmy and James and all are so keen to share their knowledge and essentially just want you to succeed.

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking about getting in shape, these guys will make it happen. Ive fallen back in love with exercise, become more aware of how to fuel my body and changed my physique back to the one I had 10+ years ago. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have lost 30 pounds including holidays in October and a naughty Xmas. Without doubt the training has been an integral part of my success enabling me to get back on track, keep my motivation high by focusing on the end goal, despite distractions which would normally take me off course. A focused approach by all at the gym is without doubt something that makes this establishment special.
