Sculpt Gym Ashington

Negative experience: I leaving this review in the hopes a manager or owner sees this, because if it was my business I'd want to know. I popped into the Ashington branch today as I'm looking to get back into healthier habits and just wanted to ask about personal trianers and membership options. There were 3 ppl behind the desk, & immediately I felt like I was intruding, all they coulld tell me was to go to the Instagram page and msg there. I'm not an insta person, I have an account but I don't even have the app on my phone. No offer to walk me around the gym or book a time to come back, or interest in getting an idea of what my goals were so they could maybe point me towards or share contact details of a PT that may suit my needs. Needless to say I walked out, rang another local gym who I have an appointment with tomorrow at 11am to discuss my needs/goals so they can match me with a persoal trianer and membership that is suitable. Not everyone is confident enough to walk into a gym alone their first time for various reasons, so to take that step to only feel like you're intruding is not very welcoming, luckily despite me being out the gym for a few years, this encounter wasn't enough to put me off returning, just enough to put me off this gym ... So maybe something management or the PT's can maybe address with desk staff , cause a PT has definitely missed out on a serious long term client and they gym missed out on a membership aswell.

Fantastic experience: Just stepped out of Sculpt in Ashington after a Day Pass session. I now live in Geneva having previously worked in the fitness industry in London for two high end gyms and I was so delighted with the experience here. Fern the manager made sure I knew where everything was. The equipment is sleek, stylish and more importantly really good quality, music was playing but not in your face or too quiet, they’ve really got things right here and I will definitely come back and train here when I’m in Ashington again, thank you for such a positive start to my day.

Fantastic experience: After not going to the gym for quite a while I registered with sculpt and have loved every session. The facilities are fantastic and the classes amazing. The staff are friendly and keep you motivated. They all have a great knowledge and always willing to help. Highly recommend this gym to anyone regardless of experience within a gym

Fantastic experience: I love it, plenty of equiptment and never had to wait for a machine, always someone on hand if you need anything. Right on my doorstep so have no excuses now......and the added bonus of seperate saunas for men and women
