Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Fraer, Giles, and Zoe are the literal dream-team for weightlifting coaching. Tons of experience between them (not to mention actual weightlifting records!). Seriously, you couldn't find a more inspiring bunch of weightlifters to learn from. Plus, there's a great atmosphere in the gym. All levels and abilities catered for, and the place has a very friendly and welcoming vibe. (Giles has a great sense of humour in particular.) If you're a weightlifter, or even just want to try out the sport for the first time, it's a must-visit place!

Fantastic experience: I cannot give enough praise to the coaches at the East London Weightlifting Academy. If you really want to go far with your weightlifting technical abilities of the Snatch and Clean & Jerk, this is the place to go. Giles, Zoe and Fraer are phenomenal coaches and really understand the science behind the sport. I have seen my technique grow from strength to strength and the cues I was given by Head Coach Giles are very effective… one can’t walk away without understanding fully what needs to be done to constantly improve and that’s exactly what you need in your training.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this weightlifting club. Professional coaching to learn Olympic weightlifting properly with knowledgeable coaches who are elite weightlifters you wouldn’t find anywhere in London. Good training environment and friendly people.
