Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this gym more highly! It’s a women-only space, which is fantastic for me as I was a beginner so wanted a supportive, empowering environment. The small group PT sessions are tailored to my specific needs, taking into account injury and ability. The trainers (there are only 3) are knowledgeable, encouraging, and really down to earth! I’ve gained so much confidence and strength since joining 18 months ago, and I always look forward to the sessions. The other members are all brilliantly supportive too.

Fantastic experience: Two years ago I was looking for a gym and personal trainer, somewhere that I would feel comfortable training as an older woman. After the menopause I wanted to get stronger and fitter and was interested in lifting weights. George at The Stalls has really helped me on that journey, the small group personal training sessions are fantastic and the gym is fully equipped with everything you need. It's been challenging but always interesting which has kept me coming back week after week. Everyone's got different goals and levels of fitness but the atmosphere is relaxed so you're just working to your own limits. There have been times when I've had injuries and George has adapted exercises to support recovery, getting me back to fitness again. My upper body strength is better than it's ever been and I'm now able to do full press ups which has made me very happy!

Fantastic experience: I have trained with George through 2 pregnancies and can't recommend highly enough. His knowledge, expertise and professionalism are second to none. I was encouraged and pushed to achieve personal goals, which we set together, and felt safe at all times. The Stalls Gym is an excellent facility, well thought out and set up with quality equipment. The small group classes are challenging but always fun. I would highly recommend to anyone for pre or post natal training, but also to any one starting out in their fitness journey or experienced gym goers looking to improve.

Fantastic experience: I have loved my training sessions with George at The Stalls Gym. I started exercising with George when I was in my third trimester as I felt too nervous to attend my usual gym as I didn't know what movements would be safe for pregnancy. George was so helpful and reassuring and helped me get a decent, safe workout in. I went back 10 weeks after having my baby too and was so glad that I did. George is so knowledgeable about recovery after having a baby and helped me feel like myself again. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’d had been a member of three other local gyms before moving to train with George. Although my fitness was good I didn’t achieve any of my goals at the other gyms. Since training at The Stalls I have dropped a size, become stronger and this year finally managed my long standing personal challenge of being able to do pull ups! The classes at The Stalls are fun and friendly and the knowledge of the instructors on nutrition, fitness and injury is the best I’ve ever experienced. I would recommend anyone at any level try it out. You have to put work in to achieve your own goals but there isn’t a more supportive, better equipped place to do it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with George for over a year now, and wish I’d signed up sooner. The Stalls gym is fantastic. Really well designed with a huge range of equipment to suit all levels. Relaxed and friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Parking is on site and easy. George is knowledgeable, professional and really knows his stuff, including some great tips on nutrition. He strikes a good balance of pushing you to improve and go further, whilst being mindful of not risking injury. He’s also friendly and a good laugh, which makes the sessions even more enjoyable. Since starting 2 sessions a week, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in strength and muscle tone, with the added bonus of weight loss - I’ve lost around 2 stone and reached my target weight.

Fantastic experience: I love The Stalls Gym ! George, the trainer, is really approachable, friendly and really knows his stuff. He gives helpful feedback and adjustments during the workouts, pushing you to achieve more whilst reducing any injury risk. The workouts have lots of variety - you won't do the same workout twice ! The gym has lots of equipment, really clean environment, large floor space - it's a great facility and has parking ! I'd recommend the stalls to everyone wanting to improve their fitness.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for six weeks now. George has made me feel very welcome and demonstrates a genuine interest in helping me to achieve my goals. I was 12 weeks post-partum when I started at the gym. George takes care to modify activities so they are safe and suitable for me. His programmes are professionally structured and his routines are creative, varied, fun and progressive. He also helpfully supports me to manage my baby alongside training when I need to take him with me to the studio! I have no hesitation in recommending George to others :) He offers a high quality and unique service, and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to train here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at The Stalls with George now for 6 months and I absolutely love it. Before coming I had never really done any exercise but after baby number 3 I thought it was time to take myself in hand! I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my confidence, fitness, posture and strength . The classes are very varied which I like and it’s a very friendly environment to train in. I would highly recommend .
