Fantastic experience: Great gym. Friendly, quiet and supportive. Not much you can ask for. No big groups of people hogging machines and lording it up. Just a decent group of people who want to train at a time that suit them

Fantastic experience: An absolute hidden gem of a gym, moved yo training here a few months ago after training in a very busy commercial gym and I cant imagine changing again. Great opening hours, well looked after variety of equipment, great little community, James is brilliant and the gym dog helps

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended Gym. Have trained at a number of gyms over the years and this is by far one of my favourite. Has the facilities to cater for all ages and all goals including, building muscle, generaly health/fitness and cardio requirements in a clean and friendly enviroment.

Fantastic experience: What a Gym! Love the colours, the music, the staff. Never once have I felt uncomfortable when I first joined Alpha, as newbie to the gym always felt welcomed, now I have been here for couple years really seen it go in the right direction.

Fantastic experience: 5* gym! I never had to wait to use a piece of equipment at all, there is plenty of it for everyone to use. James is incredibly knowledgeable & you will not find a more approachable guy anywhere else! The atmosphere in the gym is incredible, you shouldn’t ever feel uncomfortable or intimidated training here. Everyone is very friendly. Would 100% recommend the gym to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I moved over to Alpha from Phoenix Ministry of Fitness when I needed a more affordable way to continue my fitness journey. James is always around to make sure that things are running smoothly, and is incredibly approachable should you need any assistance, advice, or just a friendly face to catch up with! As a regular you will be sure to meet a bunch of lovely like-minded people - Alpha may be on the smaller side as gyms go but there really is space for everyone! If you're local and looking for a new gym, I would highly recommend popping in and seeing what you think!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending alpha athletic gym for a few years and cant recommend it enough, always improvements being made to improve the experience. New equipment is added regularly and as a member you are asked your opinion on what is needed and it’s actually taken into consideration unlike a main stream gym. If your looking for a friendly local gym with a great atmosphere and amazing owners then alpha athletic is for you

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with very friendly owners. Always available for advice on the latest training and diet techniques. A large array of gym equipment which is constantly being added to and updated. There is always a friendly atmosphere when you're training and no queuing for equipment! An absolutely brilliant gym, what are you waiting for.......!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for over two years now. The atmosphere is great and people either keep to themselves or are friendly, which adds to the atmosphere. I opted for this gym over other local gyms as I very rarely have to wait for the equipment and most importantly have never been made to feel uncomfortable. Also the range of music played is great, not to mention the gorgeous puppy!

Fantastic experience: The gym is affordable and nicely equipped. Further, Alpha has an on site trainer & he's fantastic. The trainer comes at an additional cost, but compared to other gyms: very reasonable. The location can be a little hard to find initially, but once you find... The hours are good and the owner/trainer will accommodate your specific needs. If you stay through the holidays, the gym holiday party is fantastic! People socialize & mingle. Every gym should do this. Of course, if they had a summer solstice party, no gym on the planet could compare! I highly recommend.
