Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Phil for a few months now and would highly recommended him to anyone seeking a PT. As a person who felt insecure about getting into the gym, my main priority was to feel comfortable in the gym environment and get set on the right track to become more independent with workout routines. Phil has really built my confidence to approach workouts and feel comfortable to get on in the gym. His personality would make anyone with the same concerns feel at ease, he conducts his sessions with a sense of humour and humility. He pushes you towards your goals, but completely recognises when your needs may need to be met more holistically, if you are having a stressful time or are run down. Fantastic experience: I met Phil after a recommendation from a friend, and I couldn’t be happier with him. He is a great personal trainer, and makes sessions fun & interesting. Fantastic experience: I have been having PT sessions with Phil twice a week since January 2023. Phil is amazing! Phil has a very person centred approach which is great. He is very focused on what I want out of the sessions. I am always asking questions so he is educating me. He is friendly, never judgmental and most importantly I am getting results. I am a lot fitter now, body composition has changed, I’ve lost weight and feel mentally great. I’m always looking forward to the next PT session! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have trained with Phil for the last 7 years, on average 3 sessions each week. Phil has changed my life, I am 2 stone lighter and fit. It's amazing how Phil keeps motivating me to keep well and fit. Fantastic experience: Been with Phil now for a couple of years, great for shifting a bit of timber in time for summer and getting fit for the skiing season. Mixes the training up well to always keep it fresh and non repetitive. Lots of targeted workouts to help you achieve your goals. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Phil. A chance encounter turned into what is now a 2 year PT/client relationship and also a friendship. I had lost some weight before I met him through dieting but in total I lost 6 stone and learnt so much. Not just about the gym but about myself and what my body can do. I have been pushed to limits I didn't know I had bit gained a huge amount of confidence. He even came to see me when I put on my wedding dress 5months ago and became honorary bridesmaid carrying my train down the stairs, who else can say they have a PT like that! He keeps sessions interesting with different things but also sticks the things I enjoy but pushes me harder in these so I can see my improvement. He isn't a scary drill sergeant making you vomit in the corner but has pushes hard to get results and that's what most people need. I was petrified before my 1st session and nearly backed out, anyone worried should just give it a go, only thing to lose is some weight and a little will to live at his bad jokes.

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained with Phil regularly for several years with the with the main focus being weight loss and toning up. Phil makes the sessions interesting and engaging as well as pushing me when needed as I’m not a gym goer by nature. He is a real tonic, fun to be around while at the same time being very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Phil has been my personal trainer for nearly 2 years. He keeps sessions fun, varied and just the right level of challenge ...which works for me (and my concentration span!) meaning you look forward to the session AND see results. He is knowledgeable, professional and I would highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: Phil is a great Personnel trainer, a professional who will work with you to do a custom plan to help you be where you want to be. From tailoring an exercise routine you can do when you go to the gym on your own to pushing you to do things you didn't have the confidence to do before. He will help with a swapping things in your diet to achieve better results without cutting out all the things you love. Phil is also very easy to talk to and likes to make the sessions fun not just a work out so you will want to keep up your routines. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I've been weightlifting/bodybuilding for over 10 years and have got into decent shape in that time. However with number of work projects on the go I was in need of some motivation to keep me focussed and consistent with my training. I train from home so got in touch with Phil to do some sessions. Phil has a good knowledge and designs well thought out sessions focussing on building muscle mass while dropping body fat. I like the fact he pushes me to work on my weaker areas and gets me to do exercises I often overlook or avoid which has helped me build a good balance in my strength and shape. I’ve been training with Phil for over 2 years now and I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I have been working out with Phil for 5 years since I moved to Chester and I have never looked back. I’m quite particular about who I want to have as a personal trainer and for me, Phil ticks all the boxes. Sessions are always varied and I feel that Phil knows my limits so can push me to the max so I get to my peak fitness. I’ve done a few different programs with Phil due to different goals, and even maintained training through my two pregnancies. Phil helped me get lean with a bespoke training and nutrition package and really works to what the individual wants. During lockdown we have continued to workout through Skype sessions and it’s great because, even though I don’t have the same equipment as the gym, Phil gets very creative and is still able to put together resistance workouts that meet my needs. Phil is also really personable and a genuinely nice guy so I couldn’t give a higher recommendation.

Fantastic experience: As a lady of a “certain age” (!) Phil has helped me over the last few years to overcome the difficulties of having a hip replacement. He has made the sessions enjoyable and tailored them so that I can follow them when on my own. I have SO missed them since ‘lockdown’ and am looking forward to eventually getting back to the gym. Fantastic experience: Phil has been my personal trainer for over 10 years helping me to meet my goals throughout that period. He has adapted my training to meet my wants and needs and take a holistic approach that doesn't only ensure a level of physical fitness but a focus on health and wellbeing that includes diet. His ability to adapt any training to the level you are and the levels you want to achieve is one of his many skills. With his wealth of experience he can work equally well with a novice beginner to somebody who is more developed who wishes to push their personal fitness levels further. Add to this an incredibly nice fella who is people focused means that training sessions are as much about having fun as they are about working hard and meeting your agreed challenges. He is constantly professional in his approach. Over the years seeing him work with other clients I have observed the enthusiasm he brings to his interactions he has with them and recognise the difference he makes to their lives. I cant recommend Phil Davis highly enough and look forward to training with him for many years to come..

Fantastic experience: I first started personal training sessions with Phil in December with the goal of losing a dress size for a wedding. Since then, I have lost 2.5 stone and I feel great. He is so knowledgeable about exercise and diet and for the first time ever, he has made both into something I find enjoyable rather than intimidating and confusing. His sessions are varied and he can adapt them based on how I’m feeling on the day, but knows when I need to be pushed out of my comfort zone too (and he does it all with extreme patience!). Phil is an excellent trainer and has become more like a friend in the time that I have been training with him, he is easy to talk to and a great listener. In the past I have never been able to maintain a focus on a healthy diet or exercise, and I had an unhealthy attitude to both. I can safely say now that he has changed my life, and helped me to see the benefits of proper nutrition and workouts, with amazing results for my body. Whilst I have lost more weight than I ever thought I could, I still continue to train with Phil for the benefits in all aspects of my health.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Phil over 2 years ago and honestly wouldn't use any other trainer. I wasn't happy with my shape and hadn't used a gym for a long time. Phil helped me set goals and stick to them. I haven't ever been in such good shape! Fantastic experience: I have been training with Phil for over 7 years. When I started I was pretty out of shape and nervous about being pushed beyond my limits. Phil is a fantastic trainer who really listens to what you want, is supportive and friendly, whilst also pushing you to get the best out of the sessions. I am now in the best physical health and shape I ever have been and this is thanks to Phil’s experience in putting together excellent training and nutrition programmes that deliver. Fantastic experience: Phil has been my personal trainer for some time now and I’m extremely happy with him. As a person who is not naturally sporty and who has always found going to the gym not very enjoyable he has completely changed my attitude to training. He’s very encouraging whilst pushing you towards your fitness goals, he devises a programme which is challenging yet achievable and can advise on diet and lifestyle as well and is very knowledgable and professional. In addition he’s a really lovely person. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone whatever their level of fitness.
