Fantastic experience: I have been training with Zen for over two and a half years. The coaches are excellent, friendly and will support you to achieve your personal goals. The location in Bushy Park is wonderful. I am fitter and stronger than I have been in 15 years and this is purely down to the Zen team. There are multiple bootcamp sessions available to book onto throughout the week which means I can balance work and family commitments with training.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with ZEN for just over a year now, and the difference in my health and fitness has been incredible. Before joining, I struggled with low energy, being overweight, and low fitness levels. I always found it tough to stay motivated, wanted more variety in my workouts, and needed someone to create the right training program for me. Since starting with ZEN, I’ve managed to get my weight down and my energy levels are higher than ever. My 5K time has improved from 27 minutes to 24 minutes, and I’ve been able to take on more half marathons. The coaches are excellent—always supportive and knowledgeable—and the sense of camaraderie in the group really keeps me going. If you’re thinking about joining ZEN, I highly recommend it. Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Zen Training in Teddington for a few months now, and I can already feel the difference. Fantastic experience: Alan is a personable and experienced trainer. He is easy to build rapport with and approachable and listens to your objectives. The small group training attracts a nice and friendly group of people with some interesting characters who make training fun. Initially I was hesitant about training with other people but Alan makes it comfortable and the people he attracts are genuinely good people. I would recommend small group training if you want to save cost and want a personable social experience.

Fantastic experience: Best way to keep at fitness if you're not so inclined. i'm not disciplined and almost have to be forced out the door to get to my bootcamp sessions ... but i'm always so pleased i got there when they're over! At 64 ... thinking about longevity and remaining mobile for as long as possible ... joining this happy crew is one of the best things i could have done. The trainers are fabulous ... they work around everyone's current physiological complaints and offer alternative exercises accordingly. They are funny, super-affable and explain everything really well. The other bootcampers are a joy to train with - friendly, comical, all ages and all levels of ability. So it sort of keeps me on the straight and narrow, and a year down the line I would recommend Zen Bootcamp and have no regrets. And I can now do a press up ... which i'd never thought possible before!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with ZEN Training for the past 9 months. That I am still actively participating on a weekly basis is a real testament to benefit they bring. I have always been an active runner - but they have helped me develop much more rounded levels of strength, core stability and much to my surprise flexibility. The team have a great can-do attitude and groups are inclusive, welcoming and supportive.

Fantastic experience: 1 am 76 and I joined Zen 6 week course which I have completed.At my age I was a bit apprehensive about starting strength training but as soon as meeting Alan felt completely at ease and felt so welcomed. Alan takes into account any niggles you have , back problem is mine, so you always feel safe with him. On the other hand he does push you and inspire you to do that little extra, I already feel stronger and fitter than I have felt in a long time, even feel fitter mentally. My advice is you're never too old and it's never too late to start training and I would highly recommend Alan for his professionalism and he's just a really nice guy. Your balance and strength have come on a long way to doing weighted squats and lunges, and also your core strength too being able to hold a 2 1/2 min plank now.

Fantastic experience: I came to Zen having spent 56 years on the planet without ever going to a gym – and now I regret not starting sooner. I wasn’t unfit when I started – I’ve played sport to a high level throughout my life – but I needed to counteract the combined effects of an increasingly sedentary lifestyle – spending more time working from home post-Covid – and ageing. Having put it off for a while, I finally signed up for the six-week trial at the beginning of 2025 and immediately felt at home. The training was hard, of course, but the atmosphere at Zen is tremendously supportive and welcoming, as are Alan himself and my fellow trainees. It really feels like a community here, and the sessions are very tailored. Alan’s experience and knowledge mean he is supremely able to take into account your particular goals – and the occasional niggle/injury that we all get from time to time. The difference in me within that short initial period was clear to see – and feel. I lost weight, gained muscle, became more flexible and stronger, and simply felt better. I had no hesitation signing up for a further year, and I’m delighted to say the improvements have continued ever since – regularly setting personal bests, giving me a real sense of achievement. Best of all, I’ve also achieved things I’ve never previously managed in my sport. I play a game called Fives (essentially squash with your hands) and in May 2025, I won my first ever singles title. It’s no coincidence that this happened within six months of me starting with Zen. If you’re thinking of training, I recommend Zen wholeheartedly. Just don’t do what I did and put off taking the plunge. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll see and feel the benefits – as well as making plenty of new friends along the way.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal results and a truly supportive environment! I've been attending Zen Training Boot Camp since the beginning of January, and the experience has been nothing short of transformative. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and committed to helping each person improve their fitness and strength—while being mindful of preexisting injuries and focused on further prevention. What really sets Zen apart is the community. The group I train with is supportive, motivating, and genuinely fun to be around. It makes showing up that much easier. In just a few months, I’ve lost 17 lbs, dropped 7% body fat, gained 4% muscle mass, and improved my overall cardiovascular health—my blood pressure has gone from 141/83 to 127/70, and my resting heart rate from 58 to 47. Fantastic experience: I've been attending small group bootcamp at Zen training for almost 2 years and really love this style of workout. The instructors are all brilliant (friendly, knowledgeable, bring variety to the classes) and I feel so energised after spending time outdoors in the park first thing in the morning. In the first 6 weeks I lost 17lb and gained over 2% muscle mass but I also find it easier to stay consistent with my nutrition and fitness with Zen. Highly recommend for anyone local to Bushy Park.

Fantastic experience: I managed to lose over 18lbs in my first 6 weeks at Zen, and nearly 2 stone after 3 months. You need to be disciplined but Alan and the programme helps with that. The flexibility of sessions (including catch up ones when I travel - frequently) means I don’t end up missing any. Alan also sends me programmes to follow when I am away, tailored to the gym facilities in my hotel. Classes are really small and friendly, and I even manage to do quite a few of them with my wife (who also signed up a few months after I did). He tracks all your progress, teaches you all the exercises from the beginning, and tailors / adapts each class to the people who are in it. I have genuinely found it transformational - I am 13.5 stone from 15.5 stone and fitter, healthier and stronger than I have probably been for 25 years

It's inspiring how well you've done since you joined us and especially also in the last year with the transformational journey you've been on. Fantastic experience: How did I start up with ZEN? Well, my husband joined ZEN 4 years ago, absolutely loved it, he got fit, healthy, lost weight and built muscle. He kept saying join ZEN, you don't know what you're missing..... Seriously, here I am today. I absolutely love it. I have got stronger, lost weight and built some muscle. I don't get back aches as much as before, so building my core muscles have helped. The sessions are great, the training instructors all have their own session and every session is different and fun. Sessions are outside and inside depending on the weather. Going to the gym is boring and you're working out by yourself. At ZEN you make friends during the sessions, there's lots of fun social events, Christmas party, Quiz nights, tougher mudder organised etc I feel this has been really great for my mental health too. I don't think I could find anything better than ZEN

Fantastic experience: I joined Zen training 5 months ago as part of their bootcamp 6 week challenge. My weight had crept up over the last few years and my fitness level was poor to say the least! At my very first session I was struck by how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Even though I couldn't move after the first session, it didn't take long before I was feeling the benefits and now feel much stronger and fitter. When the weather allows the outdoor location is amazing, especially early mornings or while watching the sunset. Alan Ezen and his fellow instructors always make sure the group are happy and always have alternative exercises if you have a niggle or injury. I'd highly recommend given Zen Training a go this year.

Fantastic experience: I was given the Zen Training 6 Week Challenge for my 50th birthday because I wanted to get into shape. The 6 Week Challenge was amazingly transformative with lots of quick wins on weight loss and increased muscle tone. I really felt better! Five years later, and I am still an active member of Zen Training. The bootcamp sessions are great fun and you are working out with normal people who want to stay fit, rather than gym bunnies there for their own vanity. The trainers are very professional and all routines are tailored to each member so we can all take part at the same time. I normally join 3 session per week. If you just want to get on with getting or staying fit, then I cannot recommend Zen Training enough.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Zen Training since April after initially signing up to the 6 week challenge. I’ve always struggled to motivate myself to exercise and am quick to find an excuse not to do so, but the bootcamps were different! The trainers make the sessions fun and varied and push you just enough that you still want to come back for more and aren’t running for the hills! I quickly found myself looking forward to the next sessions so much so that now the 6 week challenge is over I’ve continued with weekly bootcamp sessions and have been delighted with the results, not just physically but also mentally and my feelings about exercise have completely changed. Zen training have built up a wonderful community and regularly host social events and have an active WhatsApp group via which you can encourage and cheer on your fellow bootcampers. If like me you’re reluctant to exercise but want to improve your fitness then I’d highly recommend giving the 6 week challenge a go and seeing where it takes you!

We try and tailor it so we give enough alternatives that you feel the exercises are just right. Fantastic experience: I started with the six week challenge. Throughout Alan was courteous, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He kept track of my progress and encouraged me to progress in the weights I used. He carefully showed me the correct procedures each time (many) when I forgot them and ensured we all exercised safely. Fantastic experience: I started training with Zen after spotting Alan’s gym at the NPL sports club where I currently take my kids. I had recently started running again with a view to returning to marathon distance which I hadn’t been able to get to since having kids 8 years ago. I wanted to add some strength & conditioning to my routine for injury prevention & general toning/well-being - the boot camps are great for this! I felt great after the 6 week course and have stayed on ever since. I loved exercising outside in the summer months & the ppl who go are a lovely bunch! Varied workouts keep things interesting and I have noticed a difference in my muscle tone, plus it’s something to look forward to & get me out after a day of working from home. Highly recommend joining Zen regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at Zen Training for just over a year now and loving it! My primary fitness passion is running and in the early part of 2022 i was getting needless soft tissue muscles injuries so a friend of mine suggested i looked into getting a S&C coach. Alan at Zen Training fitted that bill perfectly. My ask was to get stronger, more toned and to make my running more resilient and sustainable. Since then my ‘gym’ journey has far exceeded any expectations i might have had. So much so that while running is still my focus - S&C has become a close second! Without doubt my running has improved - i am running longer and stronger but my thirst for PB’s in the gym has been huge. With Alan’s tailored coaching plans i have a set routine of compound exercises - bench, barbell squats and deadlifts - complemented with core, arm and leg exercises. Around these we do free weights on upper body and a range of kettle bell exercises and lunges on the legs. Together they are a great mix. In terms of body stats - I have actually put weight / muscle on and have gained 4 kgs over the last 12 months by improving muscle mass and lowering body fat - it would be more but my running helps ensures my BFI stays around 10% - it was at 16% this time last year. But this is what i wanted and now feel much better in myself. Ofcourse we took the obligatory before and after photos whilst i am very pleased with the improvement and gains - my S&C physicality is good but still very much work in progress. I still want to gain a couple more kg’s of muscle and have my eye on several more PB’s. Muscle mass aside my ‘strength’ has improved enormously. In the dead lift i am lifting over double body weight, on the bench well over 1x body weight and 1.7x on the squat. Alan has obviously been integral to this and through a combination of the training plan, the excellent gym facilities and hard work we are making great gains! I know that the fear of injury with previous niggles you were picking up on your runs was stopping you in your tracks so really glad I could fix that. You've been a pleasure to train and was incredible to see you progress from being someone who was relatively new to using weights, to someone who had confidence to use them proficiently and to get pbs and lift 150kg deadlift, be able to squat 125kgs and bench heavy too. Best thing about it is that you have a new sport you enjoy. Well done on your success for being our Client of the year for Small Group also for 2023. You've worked really hard for it and always a pleasure to train you , and everyone in the groups loved training with you too.

I am still there, tired and energised after we each session, but happy to go back. I have dropped a dress size and previously not worn clothes now fit! I would recommend the Small Group Sessions! For me, the class size created a sense of community in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Each session is different and challenging. Despite the differing fitness levels of the people in each class, Alan modifies our workouts during the session to suit individual needs. Fantastic experience: I signed up with Zen Training about four months ago on the recommendation of a physiotherapist treating me for a knee problem that was causing problems with sleep and mobility and keeping me off the golf course. I was not at all sure what to expect, not having undertaken any systematic training in a gym during my 74 years, but it has turned out to be one of my better decisions! I started with one-to-one instruction twice a week and also followed (more or less) Zen’s dieting guidance. Alan tailored my programme to take account of the knee problem and my general lack of fitness and has been extremely encouraging. I had no particular goals in mind when I began, other than to strengthen my knees, improve my walking range and lose some weight, but the results have been swift and positive. As well as losing about 20 lbs, the knee is greatly improved, I am getting back to golf, feel much more stable on my feet and generally fitter than I have for years. The experience has convinced me that with Alan’s advice and supervision, I can continue to benefit from regular attendance at the gym. I am happy to recommend him and will be working with Zen in 2024.
Fantastic experience: I've been with Zen for 2 years now and first joined the 6 week bootcamp hoping to regain my fitness and strength after getting Covid, and getting back lost weight and muscle. The HIIT training was tough but amazing and did the job, and the trainers are the best. I switched to small group (focused on weight training) after a year and have since regained my lost 5kg, and more than doubled my personal bests in bench, squat and deadlift, improving my overall strength. Alan is a fantastic trainer who designs each session for individual needs - I would definitely recommend Zen for anyone reaching a plateau in their training or whose progress has been plagued by injury. Zen Training also has a great community with many social activities, but the best part is training with some great gym partners to get the most out of each session.
Fantastic experience: As the years have crept on along with the pounds! At the age of 50 I committed to making a change to my life, at which point I reached out to Alan at Zen Training. I’d not had a positive experience of personal training in the past and hence was a little reluctant about taking the plunge again and sceptical about what I could achieve, but I’m so glad I did. Training twice a week in small group sessions not only is my confidence sky high but the results have been phenomenal. In 12 weeks with a calorie controlled diet (it is possible!) and hard but enjoyable work, I have lost 20lbs, 22.75 inches across my body and 6% body fat and increased my muscle mass by 3.3%. This is just the start of the journey and I am looking forward to getting leaner, stronger and fitter over the coming weeks and months and buying the type of clothes I want and not because they hide a multitude of sins. Fantastic experience: I found Zen in 2017 when I wanted to shape up for a dream holiday. I wasn't overweight but mid-fifties was taking it's toll! I joined the six-week challenge for the bootcamp and loved it from day one.Training with others is always motivating and happily I reached my goal within the six weeks. But that wasn't the end! Why would I stop a system that worked? And so began my strength and conditioning journey. After a lifetime of running and a hip arthritis diagnosis I realised I needed something extra to keep me moving well into my later years. I joined the small group sessions as these were more specific to my needs. Training is always challenging, varied and fun (even through the groans!), whilst being simplistic enough for newbies like me to the gym and instuctional as to why we do specific exercises and movements. Alan then prepared me for a hip replacement and we slowly started to rehab. Again his expert knowledge on muscles and movement got me on track and I am now back to full fitness and running again! From zero, I'm deadlifting 75kg, squating 60kg and bench pressing 37.5kg, not bad for an almost 62 year old! And I will continue to take on the advancing years! If you want a no-nonsense, no prisoners taken, yet fun approach, Zen is the place to be...

Fantastic experience: I trained with ZEN for just over a year and loved it. My husband and I decided to join the 6 week challenge before our wedding and both really enjoyed the routine of working out early in the morning and were both happy with our muscle gains and toning. Alan, Rich & SJ always keep the bootcamp classes interesting with varied exercises and formats. It's a really friendly group to be a part of and a great way to start the day if you can make it to the 6am sessions!
Fantastic experience: I joined Zen Training for their popular 6 Week Challenge. Very satisfied with the results, and impressed with Alan's professionalism and knowledge. He is the best guide one can get in a journey towards achieving fitness goals. And his studio is well-equipped. I have since signed up for another twelve months. Results of after 6 weeks: Lost 5.4kg in weight or 11.9 lbs Dropped 2.5% Body fat Lost 7 inches off the body Increased muscle mass by 1.1% Further, the fitness and strength gains are reflected in how much I am now able to lift. After about 8 weeks: Deadlift - 85kg Squat - 70kg Bench - 45kg It would have been quite hard to imagine such numbers before I joined! I am also performing other activities such as bicycling with much more ease. Impressive! and hope to keep doing better!
Fantastic experience: Allen is awesome at pushing us to the edge but also keeping things fun along with blasting out house music to hide all our grunting and swearing. Honestly, I think I would go into melt down without Allen’s classes. He’s great !
Fantastic experience: I came to Alan for the first time maybe 3 months ago, recommended by the physio at Waldegrave clinic. At that time I has experiencing severe and chronic pain in the region of my left hip, radiating down my left leg with exercise. A keen runner for 30-odd years the pain had become so bad that I couldn't run and was struggling to even walk long distances. A hip surgeon had suggested that I might consider a hip replacement. Not keen on the surgeon's knife, but seeking to be pain free, I visited Alan and we started left side strengthening exercises, focusing on lower body strength, but also mixing in core and upper body work. I supplemented by additional work at the gym. Simply learning how to stretch and strengthen properly was a huge bonus and the benefits from increasing core, glute and adductor/abductor strength and mobility has been fantastic. Now I am back to running once a week and am looking to increase that over the next weeks and months. Alan is an excellent trainer, knowledgable and committed to delivering on one's personal goals. He pushes you when needed but, through good judgement, builds exercise intensity slowly. He's also a great guy and a real pleasure to work with. I have signed up for the long term as I can see real benefits in continuing to train with him on a weekly basis.
Fantastic experience: I have been training at Zen now for over two years. I started doing the 6 week boot camp to lose some weight. I didn’t quite lose the 18lbs I was targeting, but got pretty close at 16lbs. It was hard work, but the encouragement of everyone at Zen and the feeling of being fitter was enough to see me through. After I finished my first 6 weeks, I carried on with bootcamp for about a year and have progressed on from there to the small groups. My biggest challenge has always been the motivation to turn up at all, let alone work on my fitness on my own. Knowing that a coach was waiting for me when I was booked in, let alone all the other terrific people trying to do the same thing is a great motivation. Small groups is excellent as well and I concentrate much more on building strength and shape – as you get older…. well I need a little help with the midriff! I find it hard to think about not doing Zen these days. I train with good people, I feel better as a result of being fit and healthy and although I struggle always to get out of bed – I have the impetus to make sure I get these first thing in the morning or I let others down. I would thoroughly recommend Alan, Richard and all the team at Zen to anyone a little nervous of starting out on a fitness journey. They carefully motivate you to do whats good for you, to achieve goals you set. Lots of social side to get involved in and no ones going to tell you not to drink or things you cant eat!
Fantastic experience: Having been plagued with various injuries (mostly brought about by having played rugby for too long, but not helped by young kids!) I was recommended Zen Training by a friend as they had had similar issues. I took on the 12 week programme and am nearly at the end of it now, but the results have been AMAZING!! My injuries are not bothering me anywhere near as much as they were and I'm feeling pain free for the first time in ages! Not to mention I'm sleeping better, eating better, feeling more energetic, stronger, faster, fitter! Alan has been hugely motivating and focussed on all the things that I needed to improve and the support team behind him are always there to help and give guidance on diet, technique, etc.. I can't thank them enough for what they've helped me achieve and plan to keep going with them. I never thought I'd feel this good, this quickly.

Fantastic experience: Throughly recommend. I did the 6 week challenge and not only did I loose 9lb but I put in 3% muscle - very pleased. I have continued with the boot camp which is hard work but such fun. Alan and Richard make the training sessions very varied and challenging. They take care of and injuries and generally help you build your fitness safely. Just started the small group weight training… so far so good! Alan creates a real team and friendly atmosphere and organises a range of socials - including Tough Mudder - which I got persuaded into doing. When I started at Zen I could not even run 100m but amazingly I managed to get through 10km of running and challenges (Including jumping into a big pool of ice!!!!). Huge flexibility in the schedules - so meeting needs of early birds at 6 am and owls at 8pm. They also do on line. So all excuses are covered!!! Could not recommend it enough. Fantastic experience: The ZEN 6-week challenge has been just what I’ve needed to get me back on track to feeling fit and healthy again. The sessions are varied, focusing on a combination of toning and cardio with a fun twist thrown in. The other Zenners are also what makes this a great group to join. They’re a fantastic bunch who really motivate you when you’re struggling.
Fantastic experience: I joined ZEN almost 3 years ago when I completed a 6 week challenge and haven't looked back since. The trainers are amazing, I've met so many new friends and the challenges keep me motivated. After having children, I had an inverted pelvis and such bad back pain that sometimes I could barely sleep. I tried everything, acupuncture, chiropractors, massage and nothing was helping until I joined ZEN! A combination of focusing on good form, strength training and learning to engage my core means I haven't suffered ever since! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to kick start their health and fitness journey as well as sustain the great results that are consistently achieved on the 6 week challenge. Fantastic experience: I was doing regular 5k runs but found myself getting more and more out of breath and I was carrying too much weight (92kg). So I decided in Jan 2022 to do PT/boot-camp style training. I tried a 1:1 session (elsewhere, not Zen) and I tried the Zen group sessions. The group thing really worked for me so I kept it up. In 6 weeks, between the exercise and the diet (which was really nice actually), I lost 9kg. 6 months later I am still going and, although I have relaxed a bit on the diet, I have kept the weight off and am very happy to say I'm not out of breath on runs any more - the core training really makes a difference! But the best part is all the encouraging comments from friends who've never seen me looking this good. Highly recommended!

You've been so consistent over the last 3 1/2 years with training with us. I think it's all about being able to relax with your nutrition, get a good balance of exercise and also really good to hear you don't get out of breath on your runs anymore.

Fantastic experience: Hello my name is Patricia and I’m 47 years old. I always have been active and I do like working out. I have tried a lot of different types of sport and these include Zumba, Barre , Pilates and the list goes on. These workouts have helped me stay active but I couldn’t reach my goals just doing this. So at the beginning of the year I stumbled across this 6 week challenge ad on Facebook. I was a bit scared not knowing what to expect and even if I could manage the sessions but I signed up and showed up. I had a meeting with Alan who asked me what my goals where. I wasn’t so much looking for just losing weight, I really wanted to lose body fat. And this is what I saw on the ad they promise you that if you follow the program , which by the way also comes with a nutrition program you will lose up to 2 dress sizes or 4% body fat. I won’t lie the sessions are tough and you need to work on your body to achieve your goals. But we have different trainers with different styles, and the best part is the flexibility of classes you can attend. There are very early morning, mid morning and evening classes so you should be able find that suits your needs. I joined for the 6 week program and wasn’t sure if I would continue afterwards but as soon as I had joined I knew I loved it and signed up for the long run. I did manage to lose weight, but most importantly I lost 9 inches in the stubborn areas and I lost almost 4% of body fat. I am amazed by the results and love working out. We have a great group of people and trainers and they make sure that they adjust the exercises to each participants. The best thing is that even now with things as they are with the lockdowns we have not stopped. Alan created a Zoom group and we are all training virtually from our homes and it is great. I have made new friends in Zen training and I am also keeping fit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Give it a try and you will see what I mean.

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin . REAL PEOPLE REAL RESULTS. Joining Zen was definitely the best decision I made end of Dec 2019. Started in Jan 2020 with a 6 week challenge .I was & am suffering from clinical depression stress and loss of my dad . My first meeting with Alan Ezen was totally life changing . I was very anxious and nervous at my first session , thinking there are so many others who are so fit and then there is me, what would all the trainers be like ??. However hand on my heart , everyone was simply amazing , supportive and the trainers pushed you to achieving your potential and are so supportive . There wasn’t a single person client or trainer who had a ‘gym attitude’ Alan takes care of each and every minute detail and helps you set your goals & then every effort is made collectively in achieving them . With the lockdown everything should have ended however Alan kept everyone fit through Online training. With lockdown easing I have a choice of online and face to face training and this helps me immensely as am back to work . Zen training is not just about Bootcamp workouts etc. It’s about nutrition too and never have I ever been so informed about my nutrition and how it affects my health and fitness . Got a whole load of recipes too I would highly recommend Zen training . It helped me immensely with my mental health , & am on my way to getting fitter & feeling so much better about myself. I made new friends & seeing their transformation is awesome and inspires me too. You are never alone as help and support is always there . Alan and all the trainers are professional encouraging and supportive . Alan is not just another physical trainer . He cares about you -helping you in achieving your goals. He is extremely passionate about helping and supporting all his clients . He helped me believe in myself and that if am consistent and put my mind to it and work at it. Anything is possible . This is something I have never get being part of a gym . The results are real , as the clients you see in the pictures are real - their fitness journey is real and it’s not a pic of some model in a magazine. Fantastic experience: I have completed the week challenge and with the support of the Zen Training team have managed to lose 18.25lbs, 4.8% body fat and can now fit into my suit!!!! I've been on many diets and fads over the years lasting no more than 2 weeks, joining Zen Training I have managed to complete 6 weeks of nutrition and training which has opened my eyes and belief. Fantastic experience: I joined Zen’s 6 wks boot camp and nutritional challenge in January 2020. Without sounding cliched, it really has been life changing for me, both mentally and physically! I really struggled to lose weight after having my two little girls. I have an under active thyroid and pregnancy left me with a deep muscle separation in my tummy, which really weakened my core, and as a result made me nervous about joining a class or bootcamp. But after just 6 wks I was delighted when I lost 12.3 lbs, 5.1% body fat and 12.5 inches off my whole body and by 12wks I lost 2st (28lbs) and getting stronger, fitter and healthier by the day. The trainers and Alan are all superb and my fellow Zenners are great bunch, we all have a great laugh, even via our zoom online sessions. I never thought I’d ever say that I look forward to a really tough sweaty workout, but I do absolutely LOVE it and highly recommend Zen, Alan and all the trainers.

Fantastic experience: I joined ZEN mid January doing the 6 week challenge and am very glad I did. I was the same as most people dipping in and out of the gym and not seeing results and finding it hard to motivate myself. I have definitely seen results with ZEN I’ve lost weight and feel much fitter and stronger. Alan and the trainers are great at what they do and give you a full body workout every session and they do adjust the exercises to your ability which is nice. I’d never done group training before and I can’t see myself doing anything else now or going back to a gym I really enjoy it. Also the nutrition plan is really good along side with the exercise makes you try things you wouldn’t normally, since starting I don’t eat gluten anymore and mainly dairy free which I never thought I would do and feel much better for it. I’ve also met some lovely people at ZEN it’s a great way to get fit and meet like minded people! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get fit and needing that extra motivation!!!

Fantastic experience: I decided to join up with Zen in Dec as I was struggling to make progress at Gym and really just wanted to get back in shape, loose fat and build muscle. Half way through my 6 week challenge, I made the earlier than expected decision to quit my Gym and sign up with Zen for the year. Best decision I have made. Why??? Well, after 6 weeks, I had lost 24.2lbs (just missed out on the record and was gutted by that), lost 4.8% body fat and 17.25 inches. I was chuffed when I look at the bigger picture, I am getting healthier and thus lowering my risk of the horrible things in life (diabetes, high blood pressure and more...) How you ask? I put that down to the excellent personal trainers, Alan, Richard, Marta, Adrian and Niall. They are the individuals I have trained with but I do know there are others who I hope to meet in the future but have not trained with yet. I have also been provided a very useful nutrition plan that has come in handy. They really encourage you to push yourself, whilst making sure you are getting the technique right, so not to get injured. It is really obvious that they enjoy what they do and it shows in the sessions they set up as they are very enjoyable. The sessions are never the same, not 1 has been repeated, ever. I have felt so welcomed by the team at Zen from day one, hence why I signed up fairly quickly. I look forward to loosing even more weight in the coming months in order to reach my goals. Fantastic experience: I joined Zen Training a year ago after trying to lose weight and fat and tone up by going to the gym but just wasn't getting results. I needed accountability so signed up to one on one training and the group sessions. I got measured and weighed and instantly felt motivated and believed that it was going to work as I had so much support. I met a nutritionist who tweaked my diet which I still generally stick to. The personal trainers are great - pushed you but not in an aggressive military way and I made great friends in the group sessions where we would bantz and push ourselves so made it fun and easy to get out of bed to attend. I've lost a stone, 8% body fat and 10 inches - and am finally happy with my weight which is a great feeling at 41. I can't recommend Zen enough, you won't regret it and won't want to leave

Fantastic experience: I decided to take the Zen 6 week challenge , reduce body fat by 6% or lose 8kg in weight. Alan Ezen clearly set out the ethos of Zen training, the need to be accountable, to have belief and determination. That in the group they would provide support and encouragement. I agree to join the bootcamp sessions, which were available unto 6 days per week. Each session is run by a top professional PT, no one session was the same, and you engaged in a total body workout for a full hour or slightly more. they ensured that you fully warmed up every time, and critically important stretched at the end. I started with 4 sessions per week, but enjoyed iy so much that i would aim to do 5 sessions . Towards the end of the six weeks I had a 110 mile charity cycle ride , which I would not have been able to achieve with out the help of the PT's. The best thing about the bootcamps is the support from fellow members, everyone wants you to succeed Zen provided you with a diet plan and guides you on the levels of calories and fats proteins and Carbs. its easy to follow and really worked for me. So the results after 6 weeks 8.4kg lost 7.6% reduction in body fat. 5% increase in muscle mass, 13 inches lost from around my body. feeling much fitter more alert can hold the plank position for 3 minutes, reduced my time to cycle round Richmond park from 28 minutes to 23 minutes Thank you Zen

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with for a little over 6 weeks, I started my Zen journey on the 25th March 2019. The training is basically in small groups doing various bodyweight exercises with a mixture of bootcamp workshops, the exercises comprise of but are not limited too:- Stretches Yoga Style Stretches Lunges with different variations Kettle bell exercises with different variations Med ball exercises with different exercises Boxing Rope Work Press Ups BURPEES with different variations Weight lifting Running Crawl Ball (like football but on all fours, no knees allowed on the ground) Zen training is a one stop all round great happy place to be, and nope they didn’t pay me to say that. I was particularly nervous to start the journey as I had a heart condition and had also been diagnosed as a diabetic. With these two concoctions I was quite fearful that something could and would go wrong, whether I did or did not do something about it. In addition to this I had stopped taking all my medications before I decided to start the programme, I did it the hard way in order remove this evil from my body and stop it from returning. After showing my initial interest I met with Alan and he asked me why I wanted to join so I told him the majority of my life story and he actually listened with interest and gave me the motivation I needed to sign up. On the 25th March 2019 I plucked up the courage and ended up at NPL Sports Ground. The initial session was a shock to the body, but I felt surprisingly good until the aches and pains settled in, the next day which, in the grand scheme of things is quite minor. Putting my personal issues to one side why did I go to Zen Body and why do I continue to do so:- well, first and foremost it’s the Zen Body Team, Will, Richard, George, Adrian, Marta and Alan, their motivation, support and best of all sense of humour which makes the whole experience worthwhile and addictive. Secondly there are no heirs and graces with the Zen Body team and for me that was the main thing I enjoy being with these people. I have also met likeminded members and I’d like to believe some friends too. There is a teamwork and family ethos within the programme each session trainer ensures that you get a great work out and offers all the support required for you to achieve your goals. One of the added benefits of the programme is the nutritional support, upon joining I was given a list of recipes and food groups that I could eat, the secret is to stick to the dietary instructions, and you won’t go wrong. For me personally I took the advice but consumed the wrong quantities so three weeks into the programme I did not see a huge improvement, in fact there was hardly any improvement, however my determination was strong, and Alan could see that so he realigned my thought process. They say that the proof is in the pudding this is what I lost and gained over a period of six weeks. I lost just over 13lbs of weight, 11.5 inches off my body, a 2.3% gain in muscle a 3.7% reduction in body fat, a massive 5% increase in musculoskeletal mass and I have jumped a band in my internal body fat. The biggest accomplishment for me was a huge 60% reduction in my sugar levels. I have not gone into remission yet however I am confident I will get there with this programme and with the support of the team. My results are amazing I feel great, confident and want to rule the world. It is hard work, the want and determination has to be there and the rest is pretty much handled by the Zen Team. I realise I have a long way to go however I have started the journey and vision. Personally this has been an amazing emotional journey that has literally reduced me to half the man I am, so much so that Alan and I discussing what my next goal is when I reach my target, we have been talking about Tough Mudder sounds like great fun.

Alan and his team of trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated to helping everyone improve. People of all ages, backgrounds and levels of fitness come together in a friendly and motivating environment. The trainers push you to do your best and guide you with form and technique. Each session combines strength and cardio training, along with plenty of stretching and advice. Alan himself guides you through your nutrition plan and is always there to guide you if you are stuck. They also provide delicious recipes to help you out in the kitchen. ZEN training is a little gem, set in a beautiful location next to Bushy Park. I personally lost a stone in weight, while decreasing my body fat by 6% but also increasing my muscle mass. Give it a try, you'll love how you feel about yourself!

Fantastic experience: I signed up for a six-week bootcamp in the summer of 2019 and was set the stiff target of losing 18lb in that time. The quality of the sessions is excellent. The coaches are expert and the mix of abilities is hugely inclusive. You are always made to feel welcome The result was that, to my delight, I lost 20lb and a total of 14 inches in under six weeks. Fantastic experience: I just completed the 6 week Zen Training programme and I can't recommend the team highly enough. The program does work! The workouts are hard but fun and the results are visible within a few weeks. I lost 10.6 lbs, 3.5% body fat and 15.5 inches around the body. I would not have achieved this result on my own. Fantastic experience: I have just completed the 6 week bootcamp challenge and had great results. Ive used gyms many times in the past, haven't lost as much as I have with Zen. I have never been bored here and love it that much I have signed up for 12 months. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. Couldn't of asked for better people and better results. Losing 16lbs, 4.5% body fat, 14 inches around the body and much lower blood pressure, very impressive for 6 weeks, didnt expect it. If I can do it, so can you!! Thanks all.

Fantastic experience: After Christmas and New Year I decided I needed to do something to lose some of my extra weight and improve my fitness. I had the winter blues and felt like I needed some motivation. I came across Zen Training on Facebook and thought the 6 week challenge was just what I was looking for. I have done bootcamps in the past albeit many years ago and really enjoyed them. I decided to take the plunge even though I was hideously unfit, I must do something... My first week training was difficult but very rewarding. All the trainers were brilliant, tough but really fun and helpful. I have some old recurring sports injuries but they all tailored my training to suit my abilities. There is nothing more invigorating than getting out in the fresh air. The hour passes so quickly. I always do the 9.30am sessions after I drop the kids at school. This time works really well for me. The diet is challenging but with guidance from Alan. The Zen recipes and my own basic knowledge of what is ok to eat. The weight started to come off. The 3 week weigh in was really helpful and the advice to treat it like two 3 week challenges really helped. At my final weigh in I was ecstatic that I had reached my goals of losing 18.26lbs dropping 29 inches around my body and 5.5% body fat. The results were fantastic.... After those amazing results I signed up for a year... The personal service and encouragement from Alan and his team is first class. Fantastic experience: I joined Zen Bootcamp for a 28 day challenge in February '18 and have been going ever since. I have lost weight, changed body shape and am much much fitter. Love the groups and the trainers and have made some great friends. I never thought I would be one of "those people" who went training at 6am, but now I am and I thoroughly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I joined Zen training in the 6-weeks’ challenge programme and I am happy to say that it has changed my life. I have lost more than 26 lbs and 8% body fat in these few weeks. The groups are sportive and friendly, everyone tries to motivate each other. There are varieties of workouts every day, so you never get bored or fall in a routine. The trainers are professional, supportive and fun at the same time. They ensure you are doing the exercises correctly, conducts proper warm up and stretching sessions, and encourages you to push your limits. Fantastic experience: I completed the 6 week challenge by training 3 times a week. This was the best thing I did for myself in a long time, I feel more energetic and fit, training in small groups is really nice, and love being outdoors, rain or shine it makes it even better. If you need that extra push sign up for zen training it has changed my posture body fat and even lost two dress sizes. I have never done any training sessions like this, so don't let it hold you back, Zen training have amazing trainers to help you with everything. Thanks Zen trainers for helping me.

Fantastic experience: I joined ZEN Training in July 2016 on the 28 day challenge. I like to keep fit, and running was the only exercise I was doing at the time. I did belong to a gym but never went as I could never motivate myself to go on my own, so I thought I would try bootcamp to see if that would help with my motivation. Over a year later, I’m still here! I go to bootcamp sessions 3 times a week and have kept up with my running. The good thing is that there are so many bootcamp sessions to choose from, you really have no excuse not being able to fit them in. Since I started I have really noticed an improvement in my overall fitness - I know I am much fitter, much stronger & more toned than before. I love the sessions as they are always varied. All the trainers are really nice & friendly, as are the other bootcampers. The trainers motivate us, push us to our limits so we get the results we are looking for and, believe or not, we have a lot of fun doing it! It is such a great feeling when you can do a few more press ups, or can lift that heavier weight than you did last week!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking part in Zen Training's bootcamps for almost 3 years now and could not imagine life without them. Since joining Zen in 2015, I have lost 1 and a half stone, dropped a dress size and am probably the fittest I've been for years. I have always regularly exercised but have never had the results that I've achieved since joining Zen. With a range of trainers, group sizes, days and times, no one session is ever the same so you never get bored. You are pushed beyond the boundaries that you would reach at a gym but in a fun, social environment. Physical exercise aside, as a mum of two the other huge benefit I've found is that it's a great way to find time for yourself and have a mental break from day-to-day routines and 'to do' lists. I was worried when contemplating joining Zen that I wouldn't keep up with other bootcampers but there is such a range of fitness levels and skills in every session that no-one is ever made to feel either superior or inferior to other participants. I wish I'd started them when I was 25!

Fantastic experience: So while sitting in a traffic jam on the M6 ( as a passenger), scrolling through fb, I responded in trepidation to an advert looking for 50 something ladies who wanted to get fit and join a 12 week small group training. I had done the gym routine for years but it was no longer the place for me. Neither was home and the spin bike which had become a clothes hanger. I needed motivation..........Something which Alan and his team provide stacks of. They are just the best. They ensure you are safe and do the exercises and stretches correctly. With their encouragement and support I have seen a massive improvement. My body shape has changed and is more toned, I’ve dropped a dress size, not a huge weight loss but it’s going in the right direction. The trainers all have their own unique style and the sessions are tough but I always go home feeling great. The groups are small and friendly.... no egos, no ageism, were all there for the same reason. I’ve just signed up for 12 months!

Fantastic experience: I love exercising with all the Zen boot campers, as all the trainers are professional, fun and supportive of your needs. I have made some fab friends lost weight, and toned up. At the age of 53 I have felt muscles that I had forgotten I had, and it's also helped me improve my tennis and general all round fitness.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the Zen 28 day challenge in January 2016 and have been attending the bootcamp sessions since then. My goals for the 28 day challenge were to strengthen my upper body and lose a bit of weight. At the end of the 28 day challenge I had lost the weight and felt better, both physically and mentally. I was so impressed with the improvement that I continued with regular training sessions. The bootcamps have an advantage over going to gym, as I have the benefits of a personal trainer providing structured training sessions, plus I get to train with a great group of people who make the sessions fun. The sessions are tough but enjoyable and cover a wide range of exercises, providing a full body workout. The trainers are excellent and very professional. My wife was so impressed with the results that she has since signed up and we now attend the bootcamps together.

Fantastic experience: I started training with the brilliant Zen coaches in November and after a month had lost 6 inches in total. I feel stronger and healthier and adore working out under the moonlight or in the beautiful evening sunshine. The sessions are all so professional, varied, and challenging. Fantastic experience: I've been training with ZEN for over 2 years and absolutely love the sessions. Each session includes a great variety of exercises mixing cardio, weights, core strength etc. I always feel great after an hour outside in the fresh air no matter what sort of day I’ve had! Alan and his team of trainers are great – they make their sessions fun, varied and are really good at keeping everyone motivated. I’ve met some great people through the sessions and have had great results - my body shape has completely changed and I feel fitter, healthier and happier. The Bootcamp sessions are aimed at all abilities and there are new people joining all the time – I can’t recommend it highly enough so come along and join the fun!
