Fantastic experience: I have just completed my 6 week challenge & am so pleased with my results. I can definitely see & feel a difference. The coaches are all really encouraging & there for you 24/7 & the other group members are friendly & supportive. Looking forward to continuing my health journey with Fli Fitness.
Fantastic experience: Primal Roots is a life changing fitness group, not just for the participants but for the wider group of people they help support. I could not go back to the Gym. Primal roots has opened my eyes, lungs and heart to the world outside my door. I've been embraced into an amazing family with support, laughter and friendship. I've lost weight and I feel amazing. I couldn't have done it without them. simply Amazing.
Fantastic experience: Firstly I would like to thank Steve Denby and the team for this opportunity and experience. I did not take this challenge to loose weight as I have always been thin, but to gain muscle and fitness. I achieved both while really enjoying the sessions and the company. Yes they can be hard work but at the end of each session you feel so good and to see the changes physically is unreal. I must say I’m not great with food and was really worried about the dieting or food planning but the menu and advice meant it had no problems at all. The meals were quick and easy to prep and cook. 10-15 mins the night before and I had a day of meals ahead and I hate cooking so massive plus there for me. My target was was to loose body fat but put on weight at the same time, I was skeptical as I had tried different diets before along with the gym with no great results. 6 weeks of this I had lost the body fat and put on weight. The body I had always wanted. Overall, great experience, great results could not recommend this enough.
Fantastic experience: Speaking as someone who generally dislikes any form of exercise I have been extremely pleased with the classes I've done with FLI. The instructor's are fabulous, the programme varied so you don't get bored and the activities doable. I will never be the fastest and I'm never going to enjoy running any distance (sorry Steve!) but I'm really enjoying the boot camps and HIIT. Boxercise has been a revelation so even though running isn't for me turns out I do like hitting things!!! Thanks FLI
Fantastic experience: Since joining 6 weeks ago, I've lost 6.7% body fat and 14 lbs and I've never felt better. The workouts are varied and all the instructors are motivating. Everyone works together to achieve their goals and the support is endless. Thank you to everyone.. truly inspiring workouts!
Fantastic experience: I can’t rate this group high enough, such a great bunch of trainers that mix things up all the time and cater for all fitness levels. If you haven’t tried it and really want to see great results get involved. I lost a stone in 6 weeks and am now fitter than ever!!
Fantastic experience: I’ve now completed the 6 week challenge and enjoyed every minute with a great bunch of people! So much so I’ve signed up to carry on! I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to keep up but the groups are so varied in age & ability I never felt left out. I would highly recommend Fli Fitness to anyone who wants to get into a steady fitness routine that never feels like a chore, and leaves you feeling great after doing it! I’ve really noticed the results in myself but it’s great being told by other people that they have also noticed the change. Thanks Steve & co!
Fantastic experience: I started my FLI Fitness journey 6 weeks ago and was apprehensive about what I'd be able to achieve in such a short space of time. But I've been so pleased with it having lost a ton of weight so far. When I started I found the group really welcoming and encouraging and everyone wants you to succeed. The team at FLI are all excellent, varying the workouts and sessions so you don't know what to expect and keeping it fresh and fun. Definitely worth trying out and can guarantee you'll enjoy it more than your normal gym sessions.
Fantastic experience: I've just come to the end of the 6 week challenge and I cannot recommend Fli Fitness highly enough!! Working long days in Sussex meant that fitting in any exercise I've always found difficult and no motivation to try until Fli! Exercising in a group of all abilities and ages out in the open air with all the support from the group is motivation enough. Having classes in the morning, evening and on Saturday morning meant I could get 3 classes in a week which has been perfect. But the encouragement of everyone has been amazing, especially when I have really struggled. I've transformed my shape and outlook on food and definitely intend to keep it going so thank you all!!
Fantastic experience: In December 2018 I took up an offer to join a 6 week challenge. A fitness challenge - exercise and nutrition seemed totally out of my comfort zone but exactly what I needed. At 48 I have tried many diets and even joined a few gyms, hoping to get the bug and get long lasting results. But the diets would eventually tail off through boredom and the gym memberships never got me into the frame of mind to build continuous development. So eventually the weight I dropped would sneak back on, plus a little bit more. So I was 48, knowing I was unfit and not having a plan. Hence the challenge! I was nervous when I started but Steve, Lauren, Jenny and Tanya are really the best possible people to be doing what they do. Great motivation and support, they get you to push more for all those gains in strength , speed , recovery etc that mean so much on this journey. Celebrate the wins with you and encourage you to keep at it. The fellow participants in each class are all there for the same drive and openly encourage / support you too. So I can honestly say the mental and physical improvements I have experienced over my 6 week challenge have been truly exceptional. I have finally got the bug to keep going - nothing has ever unlocked that before , I promise you IF YOU TAKE UP THIS CHALLENGE YOU WILL SEE RESULTS, ENJOY GETTING THEM AND FIND A PASSION TO GET CONTROL BACK OF YOUR OWN FITNESS. My results after just 6 weeks .... Weight Loss = 8.1 KG 5 cm off my waist 7.1 cm off my belly 2.5 cm off my chest My resting heart rate has dropped by 15 BPM! I am just starting this journey and cannot wait to see more results in the next 6 weeks/6 months/12 months. Thank you to the Fli Fitness team, you are incredible.
Fantastic experience: FLI has provided me with the confidence, support and encouragement that I needed to change my lifestyle. From loosing weight to eating healthy, and getting fresh air to trying new things and getting fit, FLI has changed my life! I have spent years doing fad diets and getting gym memberships that I never used... the six week challenge gave me the push I needed to preserver through hard times and shed the unwanted weight. It has also made me feel more energetic, sleep better, my memory is improving and I feel more confident! I totally recommend FLI to anyone who is struggling with their weight/ fitness levels or just wants to join a lovely bunch of people working together towards the same goals! A healthy lifestyle! Fantastic experience: I am nearly 70 and had never used a gym in my life. The weight was going on but, as I don't like group classes, I took the plunge and signed up with FLI and Jenny Rumsey as my personal trainer. I am so glad I did. Jenny is brilliant, loads of patience with a good sense of humour. She has given me the confidence to continue with my own regime and I can't thank her enough. Added to that Steve is a great masseur - his deep tissue massage is a delight! In short I can't recommend FLI highly enough.
Fantastic experience: What can I say? I was reluctant to start this program, knowing that I have some problems with keeping up with any kind of resolution and commitment related to fitness :) I couldn't be more happy that I found FLI.. Firstly - it's amazing group of trainers - helpful, enthusiastic, engaged, funny. Secondly - other people you can meet during the training sessions; people who also started the journey to re-shape their lives, to be healthier, to enjoy physical activity. There's always great amount of support from both FLI team and other participants. I highly recommend FLI Fitness to anyone!
Fantastic experience: FLI FITNESS THANK YOU. After trying and failing on fad diets for the last 4 years, I’ve finally found something that has worked. Not the only have I had amazing results on the 6 week challenge, I’ve really enjoyed the classes, made some great friends and felt fully supported from the lovely instructors throughout my weight loss journey. It wasn’t easy and takes dedication but the ‘family feel’ you get from the classes makes you want to go. Couldn’t recommend FLI FITNESS enough

Fantastic experience: I started at FLI after really being pushed into it by my son and daughter, who were so concerned about not only my weight but where I was mentally. I've tried so many times to join a gym to lose weight and get fit and had such poor nutritional "advice" handed down over the years, that I didn't know what to eat, so I ate very little and binged on chocolate and crisps. I felt very unhappy, was down and at odds with everything. I fought myself to make the first meeting with Steve, kept thinking I'm going to cancel it as it just felt like it was too huge a hurdle and that I just couldn't do it.... arriving late after being forced out the door by my daughter! Once I got talking to Steve he listened to my personal problems, my physical problems, having a very painful neck and shoulders. In his non-judgemental way he talked to me and showed me how I could start to make changes. I felt like a ton of weight lifted off of my shoulders. I then started personal training and making good progress. Progress that I never thought possible, after around 4 months of life-changing personal training, mindfulness and nutritional advice I started to see a difference in my mental health as well as my physical health Having been on this journey for about a year and a half now, I have lost weight, I can do so much more than ever before and this is not just because of weight loss. It is due to mindfulness techniques, amazing nutritional and planning advice, the neck/shoulder pains have gone and I feel strong and capable. I feel actually like a whole different person and have learned how to look after myself through mindfulness, positivity and training. FLI have showed me how to be healthier, to make good decisions about my food, to be kind to myself, how to train hard and to achieve a well mind and body. Most importantly they showed me that you do not have to spend hours in the gym. FLI have been with me on this journey, coaching, listening and advising.Their knowledge is immeasurable. I am feeling very happy and thankful to have taken that first step 18 months ago. Thank you FLI.
Fantastic experience: Having seen Steve's work on a couple of occasions, I was intrigued to find out how his techniques could help me improve. I had a personal therapy session which lasted around 45 minutes. During that session Steve worked on areas that had been causing me problems and limiting my movements. To cut a long story short. I no longer have painful achilles tendons, I had them for about 2 months, I no longer have 'duck feet', my shoulders are back and no longer rounded and my spine is stacked as it should be! Steve did a lot more for me in one session than any gp or osteopath had achieved. I will definitely be returning to join one of his classes.
Fantastic experience: I have been to Bootcamp for just about 4 months but loved every bit of it! It's a great way of getting fit and being adventurous at the same time. The outdoor circuits were very hard initially but got used to it later on. Am sad that I have to give up in between as am starting full time work. All the Best!
Fantastic experience: Since joining fli fitness boot camp in January my life really has changed...Steve and Lisa are both very passionate coaches and have taught me so much about how to hold my posture properly and to get the best out of my body...I've also had a few massage therapy sessions with steve to help correct my posture...before fli fitness I would often turn to pain killers for my back and neck pain...but now I exercise with them at boot camp with excellent guidance and eat extremely healthy and can't wait for my next boot camp session
Fantastic experience: My wife pushed me to speak to a personal trainer when I hit the age of 42 as I had become unfit, lazy and put on too much weight, the spark I had to keep fit and motivated had gone and this old dog was not going to be taught any new tricks........then I met Steve at FLI Fitness. We discussed in depth both my physical and mental ambitions and my journey back to fitness and well being began. It has been a tough journey but under the guidence of the FLI Fitness team and it's members a whole lot fun! I am without a doubt physically and mentally the strongest I have ever been, and to my amazement lost only 1kg if weight in the process but lost 50% of my total body fat, and feel great for it.
