The all-new, multi-million-pound Leighton Leisure & Community Centre offers the local community a wide range of activity options. However you choose to get moving, you’re sure to find a way to get active here, whether it’s in the state-of-the-art gym, three swimming pools, group cycling studio, Reformer Studio, squash courts or the wellness and group exercise studios.

Leighton Leisure & Community Centre boasts a spacious and well-equipped 150-station gym that features all the very latest fitness equipment. Whether you prefer a cardio workout, functional exercises, taking on the resistance machines, boosting strength in the free weights area or a combination of all four - whatever your fitness goals, there’s everything you need to take your regime to the next level.

The new leisure centre also features three swimming pools, each of which offer something different. The eight-lane, 25m main pool hosts the majority of the swim sessions, including lane swimming, family swim sessions and, of course, Everyone Active’s award-winning swimming lessons. The teaching pool is ideal for younger children just beginning their learn-to-swim journey, while the shallow water confidence pool is ideal for the littlest ones who are dipping their toes in the water for the first time.

The dedicated group exercise studios offer a packed programme of classes designed to suit everyone regardless of age or fitness level. These include a suite of ever-popular Les Mills sessions, plus bespoke Everyone Active-developed classes designed for those who want something intense, as well as those who want a more relaxing, chilled-out session.

Meanwhile the dedicated Group Cycling Studio offers a full timetable of classes and has all the very latest equipment, including the very latest Keiser bikes.

Leighton Leisure & Community Centre also features a Reformer Studio, offering a new way to strengthen, tone, and energise your body. This class takes place in a state-of-the-art studio and is designed to provide an exceptional experience, whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or new to the practice.

The hydromassage beds at Leighton Leisure & Community Centre offer a premium recovery service to help melt away the aches and pains of your workout for YOU+ Ultimate members. Local professional practitioners also have the opportunity to hire out treatment rooms at the leisure centre and offer their services to members – please ask in centre to find out what treatments are currently available.

There are also two Squash Courts, so if you fancy a game of this fast-paced racquet sport, this is the perfect place to come!

Local community groups and businesses can utilise the leisure centre’s dedicated meeting rooms to hold events, meetings and seminars.
