Negative experience: My dad visited today for the first time. He went for a swim and left his glasses by the pool and when he got out they had gone. When he reported this to staff they were not interested or helpful. He is nearly blind without them. They offered no assistance or help. He's said he will not try your pool again. Glasses were taken between 10:15am and 11:15 am today 9.9.25

Fantastic experience: I recently visited with a Wellhub pass and Rachael was amazing at getting my membership set up, as well as walking me through how to use the facilities. Her patience and kindness really helped me to feel comfortable at the gym. I also really enjoyed the layout of the weights area - plenty of machines and availability.

Positive experience: This is not a warm and peasant swim. Today the water was very cold. Staff are lovely and place is clean but the water temperature definitely needs adjustment!!!

Fantastic experience: Last week was our first visit to this centre as we were on holiday for the week and i wanted to go swimming to test my new knee out. I had it replaced in April. The entrance was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked online using the app the day before and was very impressed by that too. The whole centre was spotless and the staff are constantly cleaning the changing room areas and pool sides. We did a lane swimming session and loved how big each lane was and that they limited how many could book each lane. Will definitely be going back there again.

Fantastic experience: A lovely, friendly leisure centre, where the water in the pool is tested regularly and the changing area is always clean. I enjoy the aqua aerobics sessions I attend twice a week, as well as the slow lane swimming once a week, which are beneficial to my health. The staff members are all very helpful, and I look forward to my weekly visits.

Fantastic experience: Value for money, well equipped gym with a good mix of fitness & strength equipment, lots of classes and private gym instructor available and a good pool. Also has 'virtual' classes. Recently (August 2024) refreshed the weights & strength equipment area.

Fantastic experience: We have just visited the swimming pool for the first time and can't fault it. The staff very extremely helpful, the swimming pool for perfect for out 3 children 6yrs and under. We would definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: Victory has been such a massive part of my weight loss journey. So friendly and the staff are brilliant. I love body pump- faith and tree are fantastic instructors- always motivational and supportive.

Positive experience: Good size pool for lane swimming, kind of annoying we get booted out ten mins early to allow pool setup for the kids classes which come in afterwards. It then means we don't get the full hour swim session, its more like 50 minutes.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are super friendly. The pool and changing rooms are immaculate and clean. Definitely the best leisure centre I've been too!

Negative experience: Not impressed at all, only just got the contract and they don't even have a website that is working properly, need to up their game and also have people on the receiption that know what they are doing !!!

Negative experience: Lovely people, nice and clean but driving a long way to let my son have a go on the inflatable and when we get here they don't have one! Went to calm down with a coffee but no cups!

Fantastic experience: Have been to a couple of swim parties here. Kids love it but if you are considering booking one I would recommend a private session than a shared public one as it was hard to tell who was part of the party.

Fantastic experience: I have been to yoga and Pilates at victory swim and fitness centre. The teacher (Donna) is thoughtful and understanding. I always leave her classes feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Positive experience: Decent gym, for £20 it’s a good gym, a little small and gets rather packed when the younger college students flood the gym but it does the trick, cheap and cheerful gym

Positive experience: The water was a bit cold we where on holiday down there i was shock that the lockers had no locks as all been stolen we had to left the bags with a life guard

Positive experience: Clean tidy and great for the family but be warned you need to take a padlock for the lockers. Luckily for us they had a spare at reception as we didn't know this but we will be returning again. Especially when the inflatable is out.

Negative experience: Really disappointed travelled from Norwich after the swimming pool was too full there. To then get here and thelockers you have to bring your own padlock. Which i was not aware of. There were nothing that I can see on their website to say you had to do this! They didn't even have any to borrow or even buy. They said to leave belonging at the side of the pool! No wonder people are not using swimming pools much as they make it difficult !

Fantastic experience: Visited Saturday 9th Sept, changing rooms were clean, swimming pool wasn't cold. The staff were very pleasant, especially the lady looking after the fun inflatable. She did have to tell my 4 year old to not run but she did so in a nice manner. Will definitely be going again.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym and pool. The staff and other visitors are friendly. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Lots of classes if you like those, a good range of equipment in the gym and the 25m pool has deep and shallow ends. Sometimes lane swim, classes, lessons and women only.
