Positive experience: A good place to go for a swim. It’s in the centre of Redcar and consists of a nice clean swimming pool with swimming classes and more, a medium sized gym and more!!!

Fantastic experience: Great customer service from Jack today! We were in Redcar visiting family and had just failed to get into OneGym. We came here and managed to get a free day pass to use the gym. Jack was super patient and helpful! Gym is well stocked - as with many gyms, not enough mid range weights - but good vibe, not too busy and really friendly staff!

Negative experience: Leisure centre is fine however, I was charged £2 for 2 trolley like tokens for lockers and told that £1 coins don't work in the lockers. When I used the lockers everyone of them had £1 sticker on the mechanism on the back of the door. I tried 3 different £1 coins in 3 different lockers and they all worked fine! This is a complete scam and don't fall for it. On leaving I brought the matter up with the receptionist who sold the tokens to me. Her reply...... " Only old £1 coins work in the lockers and new ones get jammed". Complete lie. My Granddaughter loved the beach pool though

Positive experience: The centre is fab. The staff lack enthusiasm. On the last three visits on a Sunday the cafe has always run out of food which is a poor.

Positive experience: Very good facilities, car park was full but parking a little way down the road was free at the weekend.

Negative experience: Nice pool however cost is wildly high. 17.95 for a family of 4 (one under 2). Less than 50 mins of swimming and then parking close by is challenge or 1.80 for the first hour then 2.40 every hour after.

Negative experience: Asylum discount not rascist! it's just not fair on local family's that also struggle!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Leisure Centre located in Redcar. It has many facilities, including a 25m indoor pool and kids pool, various indoor courts for football, tennis and badminton, exercise classes, a large gym and sauna and steam rooms. Provides access for people with disabilities and also swimming classes and gym training sessions.

Negative experience: It is very bad that even though I have been married for the whole century, they took money from my account within three months

Negative experience: You would get more customers if you actually answered the phone and not cut people off

Positive experience: Everything I need and more only problem is cleanliness of sauna / steam room very rarely gets a clean should be done a least twice daily not twice every 3 months

Positive experience: I only use the gym so I cannot speak on the other aspects, but I have been enjoying it. Good amount of equipment and friendly staff. I think it would be helpful to keep the sanitary wipe rolls fresh (sometimes dried out). Changing rooms are alright, lots of lockers. The daytime parking charge is a council cash cow during the week but free after 4pm and weekends.

Fantastic experience: Nice kids pool. The website is dog water to use. I would say you need to book though. Really nice pool and changing area, slide in the kids pool and some sprinkler stuff. Super fun, only think I would say is get there and paid early so you don't have to queue as I had to queue to get in a bit and lost 10 minutes of my 50 minute session queueing.

Fantastic experience: Went for a birthday party on the flow rider today, all staff where really helpful and friendly and Ryan our instructor today is a credit to the place, so welcoming and always encouraging everyone to try new things. Will defiantly be back to ride the waves with Ryan

Fantastic experience: Receptionist Deanie was phenomenal tonight. I called to let her know we were running 10 minutes late for a flow rider session. It turns out we weren’t actually booked in (my error). In those circumstances many reception team members would have said ‘computer says no’. Instead, Deanie was super helpful and said we could come. She not only allowed us to come, but took payment over the phone while we were en route to save time, and had the consent forms and video lined up for us on arrival and genuinely cared about us getting as much time as possible in the session. She’s a real credit to your organisation! Ryan was an awesome FlowRider instructor. Really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun. He was super accommodating despite us being late and we had such an amazing time. Deanie and Ryan’s handling of my situation (running late to a session I hadn’t actually booked onto) was nothing short of exceptional. Commercially, they have secured weekly future flow rider bookings for 2023 and beyond for me and my husband.

Negative experience: I've tried to cancel my membership multiple times and the staff dont give me a simple and easy way to do it

Negative experience: I went swimming. The changing room we're not clean and showers were absolutely shocking . The pool had plasters and bobbles galore on bottom of pool. I would post photos if it was aloud of the changing rooms and showers but camera's are not aloud.

Positive experience: Not too bad using gym / swim facilities if your a member but pay as you go clients are restricted to 2 50mins sessions for their £6 odd otherwise I'd given 5 stars as staff are helpful and friendly

Negative experience: Ridiculously over the top regulations for Covid, Completely unnecessary. The viewing area for the swimming is like sitting in a sauna. Theres no adequate ventilation for spectators, no air conditioning, not even a fan! You're expected to watch the kids swimming lessons for a full hour in these conditions. If I hadn't already moaned enough, I'm certain the railings in the Viewing area are designed purposefully to annoy people, I'm sure of it! Haha. Two inches lower, you can watch over the top from a seated position, two inches higher you could watch through the glass partition.. but no! Designed at the exact height of everyone's eyeline, maybe part of an elaborate joke from the designer because 'they' would like to watch the world burn

Fantastic experience: The leisure centre is located quite centrally and is very well equipped. There is a steam, sauna, swimming pool and a very adequately stacked weights section. The staff are friendly and helpful. Stacey was really kind when she showed me around. The features are currently limited with the covid restrictions, but it will be behind us in no time.

Positive experience: Professionally run gym. All the equipment appears to be well maintained, and social distancing measures are in place. Bookings are required. (The app is working again) Today, it said there were 23/60 places left, but there was plenty of space.

Positive experience: At first joining it was easy to get around the exercise machines, of late it's been rather busy with youngsters who are always exercising on their phones rather than on the gym equipment, mind you the older ones are catching them up....And stopping those that want to use the equipment with this selfish pastime.....You don't want to cool down too much...But no choice....It seems.....Or is there...

Positive experience: It's a decent gym but it's just a mess about having to book your slot then only having 50 mins before having to leave then circumnavigate the building to get attitude for not bringing your card... Even tho I'm already booked in, in my name through the app...

Negative experience: Experience marred by members leaving all their weights on machines. I had to strip all machines before using. Staff walk by without saying anything to people, letting them leave everything for members to do. Members should be barred if not putting equipment back. Spoiled my workout. Staff do not clear the machines. They need to sort this out ASAP. Other gyms members put their equipment away or are barred. Failing this, staff clear the gyms. What is happening here? Heaps of miserable staff here. I have trained all around the UK, and this has never been the case. A gym is a positive place to be in. They need to hire upbeat staff with fresh, vibrant, and happy personality.

Negative experience: Had so much potential. Should of been a gem in redcars crown but so many things let it down mostly too poor design. It's in a terrible spot in the town so driving to it and parking are the first grievance and cost. Staff lack enthusiasm. The kids pool looks amazing and is great for smaller children, the changing rooms are a down right nightmare , unisex and cramped a scramble free for all for small inadequate lockers and even smaller cubicles. Shower facilities are infront of the kids pool and cafe and freezing. Theres a sauna and steam that I cant comment on as the walk all the way round the pools is so long to access them, feel sorry for anyone whos not very mobile. The pool has a deep end , somewhat amazing in today's health n safety world .... so naturally you still cant jump in so basically 50% of the pools not accessible to none simmers and hardly used. Any actual swimmers must avoid the traffic at one end . Gym facilities are good cant speak for classes but the gym is well equipped and thankfully the staff upstairs are a world apart from the rest to welcoming .

Fantastic experience: We use the pool here quite often, there's a full size pool, a training pool and a kids beach/paddling pool area as well as a flow rider surfing machine. Can get very busy at peak times.

Fantastic experience: We go here for swimming with the kids. Large normal pool for adults, wave type thing for surfing, smaller pool with with adjustable height floor and kids pool with slides and water fountains. Would advise to check that no water exercise classes or parties are on before goinv as if they are then some parts of the pools will be out of bounds.

Negative experience: Dzisiaj football odwołali, a po jednej godzinę gdy wróciłam z synem na lekcje pływania to stwierdzili że mój syn nie ma lekcji na których był przez ostatni rok, po dziesięciu minutach wymienili kartę i można było wejść... ale połowa lekcji pływania minęła. A tak poza tym lekcje pływania są beznadziejne, tylko raz był pan który naprawdę zajmował się dziećmi ( przyszedł na zastępstwo )
