Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found Reformer Pilates again after moving to Newton Abbot! I used to do it when I lived in Australia and really loved it, but after coming back to the UK, I couldn’t find any classes nearby. Life got busy, and like many of us, I let exercise slide. When I saw Premier Fitness was offering Reformer, I booked in straight away. The intro session with Lenka was fantastic, she’s so friendly, confident, and really knows her stuff. It had been a while since I’d worked out, and even though I’d done Reformer before, the equipment was a bit different. Lenka explained everything so clearly and made it all feel easy and welcoming. I left the class feeling amazing and excited to get back into a routine. Highly recommend Lenka.

Fantastic experience: Premier Gym is a great gym and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and I enjoy the classes. I have to make a special mention about Jo, who teaches Hot Yoga Sessions. I started doing Hot Yoga about 2 1/2 years ago following on from an accident which resulted in me fracturing my spine in two places. As a result of the accident my rotational mobility isn't great and I get muscle spasms in my back. The accident also affected me mentally and I was a lot more anxious. When I was told about Hot Yoga and thought I would give it a try, that's when I met Jo. I explained to Jo about my accident and issues and she has been fantastic ever since. She always gives me guidance when required and has helped me to adapt the poses so they don't cause me issues. Jo really has gone above and beyond what I would expect of a class Yoga teacher. The one thing that also surprised me is how relaxing Yoga can be and how good it can be for your mental health. I remember one session Jo said, "now relax your jaw". I thought how silly is that, you don't need to relax your jaw to release stress, well how wrong was I! I have also found that using the breathing technics I have learnt in Yoga has helped when I feeling anxious, I use my Yoga breathing technics and calm myself down. My wife and I have noticed that the best night sleep we have is after our Yoga sessions at Premier Gym. Personally, I have learnt a lot from Yoga both for my body and mind and that is down to Jo and her patience for helping me to adapt the postures and her teaching really works for me. I know there are other Yoga teachers at the gym but I have found that Jo fits my needs. I haven't heard anything bad about any of the teachers or the PT's that work in Premier Gym. The staff at Premier Gym are all supportive and keen to help / give advice when needed, so a big thanks to all the staff at Premier Gym and keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined this gym and I only have good things to say. I have been made to feel extremely welcome, including from the moment I walk in by reception staff to all the PT’s who run the classes. The gym is always clean and tidy and there a wide variety of classes for everybody. Highly recommend to everybody.

Her classes are so thought out, super fun and her energy makes you want to give it your all! Never had such an empowering instructor! Thank you premier for being a fab gym!

Negative experience: Bonkers booking system. Unable to come. Just moved to the area and they said free for day pass for locals with proof on driving licence and passport. I don't have these updated yet. Offered to pay instead and they said can't charge for day pass

Fantastic experience: I was visiting the area for a few days, and decided to use this gym. They have a weekly pass, which was a good price at £20. I really enjoyed every session that I had at this gym. Its well equipped, spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I used the bags quite a bit when I was there - great workouts. Will definitely go here when I visit again.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the premier gym now for a couple of months and have been to many gyms in my 15 years of working out and premier gym beats them all because all the staff are friendly and treat you as a individual not a number, also the equipment and facilities are amazing enough for everyone and what ever goal you wish to achieve you can so i recommend you switch you won't regret it, give premier a go no matter where you are in your fitness journey there is PT's to hand to guide you and support you on that journey.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to so far! Great facilities, weights, cardio, cross fit, bags, yoga room, spinning room and more. The staff are so friendly and always happy to help. They even have a cafe to get your protein fix for after your workout. All this for an amazing price as well. Well done guys!

Fantastic experience: Premier Gym is by-far, the best, fitness complex in the South West. I have been blown away, by how clean everything is! It’s like no other gym I’ve been to, you could easily lose a day in this place, with fitness classes, then some lunch, a coffee and even get your hair done! All without worrying about the ticket running out on the car as parking is free and I’ve never had a problem getting a space, even at busy times. I am so glad I found this place, I’d advise anyone to go take-a-look.

Fantastic experience: Just over a month since joining Premier Gym +Fitness and I’ve not been disappointed! A huge range of high end good quality gym equipment that I constantly see being cleaned and maintained by staff. I regularly attend the spinning or HITT classes that have been scheduled thoughtfully and allow me to attend either before or after work, the changing room and showers are always clean and unlike my previous gym you don’t have to wait to use them. What’s impressed me the most about Premier Gym are the staff, I can not recall a single session were I’ve not been greeted by Trace in such a genuine happy and enthusiastic manor, such an asset to the gym. Of the class instructors I’ve met Aaron, Will, Leanne, Fiona, and more recently Jo & Neil all add their personal touch to make the class unique even if they teach the same activity. It’s reassuring when they explain and demonstrate exercises before or during the class and it’s great to see new participants get the support they might need. I’m starting to shed some of the lockdown weight now and even started beginners Yoga!!! I shall continue to meet and make new friends through the classes on offer and long may it continue and thank you Premier Gym.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic space, lots of brand new upto date equipment, and not crowded by equipment. Literally has something for everyone. Massive free weight section, enough cardio machines, dead lift and powerlifting and deadlifts area. Sprint run and 3 punch bags on the cage trainer. Also has a room for spinning yoga and Pilates. Great range of classes on offer and to top it off the staff are friendly and welcoming. Worth a look at the very lest

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym in Newton Abbot! Wonderfully equipped with a fantastic app that tracks all of your exercises for you. I'm not all that familiar with gyms and this makes it so easy to workout. The team are very knowledgeable and super friendly, they helped me immediately when I asked for advice and they set me up with a plan too (this cost a little extra but I'm very happy with what I got for the little I paid!). They also have healthy foods available to buy as well as fruit smoothies (and they'll put protein powder in too if you want it!). And last but not least, they do really lovely coffee! Really cannot recommend this place enough!
