Thank you for visiting Fitness For Purpose. I’m Joe Sidey and we’re based in Pamber Heath near Tadley on the Hampshire/Berskhire border.
Since 2005, I have been on a personal journey to learn everything I can in order to help as many people as I can who are suffering from the challenges of recurring or intermittent injuries (or pains) anywhere in the back, pelvis, hips, knees, down the legs, arms, wrists, shoulders and neck.
Along the way, I have become a fully qualified Biomechanics Coach and have helped everyone from elite professional athletes and recreational sports enthusiasts to manual workers and drivers. I also work with a lot of people who spend far too much time sat at their desks!
"I've been a road runner for the last few years covering approx. 16 miles a week. 9 weeks ago I started to suffer excruciating pain on the outside of my right knee which was so painful I was unable to run. I have carried out the exercises as instructed by Joe for over two weeks now and I am absolutely amazed at the benefits they are having on my body. I haven't had any extreme pain now for over one week. It is thanks to Joe I am able to continue running so quickly after my injury."
"Prior to first meeting up with Joe, I would wake up in the morning in one of two states, (a) a gnawing ache at the base of my back or (b) a dull ache at the base of my back that turned into a gnawing ache by the time I had boiled the kettle. This would stay with me for the rest of the day. After running with the exercises Joe set out for me, I can honestly say that getting up in the morning is now so much less painful. Some mornings there is no ache, others, I feel it there but not at the forefront of my mind...........As for Joe's help, simply invaluable. Joe explained in terms I can understand, not only where the problems lie, but why and what each exercise aims to address. I don’t think I would have been as committed without the encouragement Joe provided."
