Our comment from FitFit UK about Rena Health & Leisure at Leonardo Royal London City:

Rena Health & Leisure at Leonardo Royal London City is a health and wellness center located in the heart of London, offering a mix of fitness and relaxation facilities. Users have noted the friendly staff and clean facilities as significant positives, particularly highlighting their enjoyment of the pool, sauna, and steam room. Many appreciate the warm atmosphere and spacious areas available for relaxation. Specific treatments, such as massages, received praise for relieving tension and providing a calming experience.

However, a number of reviews point to several areas for improvement. Users reported issues with unprofessional staff, long waiting times for treatments, and occasional lack of amenities. The equipment in the gym has been described as outdated, and the changing facilities sometimes felt crowded and messy. Some visitors expressed disappointment in the quality of certain spa services, feeling rushed or neglected during treatments.

Overall, Rena Health & Leisure has the potential to deliver a satisfying wellness experience, but has areas that require attention to enhance customer satisfaction.

Negative experience: Got a prenatal massage. It was very disappointing. No pressure at all just slathering oil on the body. Masseuse was very chatty and that did not help relax either. The swimming pool has a very strong chlorine smell.

Positive experience: I was a member of this gym for 4 months. Staff: There are two members of staff who work at reception who are absolutely lovely, always donning a smile and seem like they are there to help. Everyone else acts like they are doing you a favour, and sometimes treat you like an insolent child. One receptionist barely looked up when I entered and when I asked a question did not even stand up to address my concern. Small niceties would actually make up for the issues described below - for example offering to pour a cup of the stale fruit water by reception, or asking how your day was. This is a 'spa' in central London for goodness sake. Gym: Equipment is ancient. The cardio machines feel like looking at an elderly man who has to work to feed himself - you just want them to be retired for a final rest. The bench and smith machine rests on uneven flooring which has led to one of my quadriceps larger than the other. Kettlebells are single (one of each weight) and only go up to 20kg. There is an incredibly strange bench-type thing in the middle of the cable machines - this once nearly fell onto my head with the slightest touch (actually a bit dangerous). Pool: This is a tourist hotel gym, so it would be wrong for me to assume the pool would always be reasonably free. If you go at the right time it's great. However, if you go after a popular weekend (like valentines day) the pool will be full of couples making haste with their love (kissing), if you go after a summer day, it can be full of thick water with numerous floating bogies. Hot tub: Warm at best, frequently out of service (for bubbles). Sauna: The saving grace of this entire 'spa' establishment. Steam: Ok, feels a bit gross. Aromatherapy room: Rarely actually smells like a relaxing scent, feels like a cop-out. A waste of space frankly. Cold / Hot shower outside sauna: Decent. Cold shower also frequently out of service. Overall: This is a low-middle tier spa, and a low-tier spa if you take the prime area into account. I feel sad for the manager, I get the sense he is financially constrained to improve anything - and is just the front man to deal with complaints of a poor quality spa he has no power to improve. Leonardo is a well known hotel, they must be doing well. The rest of the hotel is outstanding. It is truly tragic to see other reviews (not just mine) complaining about the same things for years on end. If a higher up manager, or even the manager of this Rena sees this - take this as an opportunity to raise all these issues and get more funding.

Negative experience: Under no circumstances please do not go to Rena spa in Leonardo City Hotel. They treat people poorly beyond belief and are disrespectful. Never again. Massage didn't last 25 min but 20,was rushed, not enough pressure, finished too early inc me getting dressed and undressed. And they hazard with my personal belongings and shared my personal data, called me a liar when I complaint and denied wrong doing. Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK HERE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY . IF YOU CANT ATTEND THEY WILL NOT RESCHEDULE EVEN UNDER EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES!!! Bought a spa access and treatment for my friend’s birthday who is pregnant and I wanted to treat her for her birthday. She lives outside London and unfortunately trains were cancelled so while she was waiting for more than 1 hour at the station in the heatwave, we tried to call the Spa and explain the situation to try to reschedule her access. They didn’t care and not only they didn’t allow her to reschedule for their stupid policy but I also lost my money as they don’t want to refund me. SHAME ON YOU this spa deserves to fail in every aspect, disgusting service and I hope no one shows up for your services in the future .

Negative experience: The massage was not worth it! Lasted 40 instead of 50 min, and she focused on anything but the neck and shoulders (which is what I asked her to focus on). Not enough pressure , and rushed as if she ran out of time for the upper body; and yet finished the massage too early! Pretty poor quality overall.

Negative experience: The spa and facilities are alright. However, me and my mum were rushed out of the room after our treatment because they were running behind. We got give less than 2 minutes once our treatment was over. We were literally getting dressed and the lady opened the door and left it open telling us to hurry up whilst we were naked. My mum is a traditional woman, she did not appreciate this and felt embarrassed.

Fantastic experience: My wife surprised me for my birthday and it was an enjoyable experience with spa and pool available... Little Asian lady did my treatment and was careful and mindful as I was a little worried as I never had a massage before but if you ever get that treatment ask for her

Negative experience: After reading the reviews, we thought to give this ago, We had a not so great experience, initially booked a couples spa treatment, upon arrival the receptionist advised couples spa room is not available and it was in use with other couple, although we booked in advance? So in which case we was separated for the treatment, attempted to speak to the receptionist and manager (blonde lady with classes) who was rude and ignorant and dismissed our claims, was not happy at all. This was a birthday treat to my partner and the overall experience was not good. The facilities was basic and the message was mediocre. I would most definitely not recommend and advise to book elsewhere. The package came with a glass of prosecco, which we did not receive or did we receive over vouchers to spend on products. So not only did we have a bad service! We was also ripped off. AVIOD AT ALL COST

Fantastic experience: Spa and changing rooms were clean. Bathrobe and towel were provided. We went on Sunday afternoon and it was quiet enough to get loungers and have steam room/sauna/hot tub to ourselves at various points. Would highly recommend!

Positive experience: Very mid. Lots of kids running around and the jacuzzi was so chlorinated it stung my friend’s eyes. Not many chairs to sit and relax in either. The aromatherapy steam rooms are nice though.

Negative experience: Very good facilities (swimming pool, sauna, steam room). But no restrictions on children and noise on the weekend, so not relaxing at all. The bathroom facilities are also oddly laid out and do not have a luxury feel at all. I felt I had paid 3 times ten price of my local health and fitness center for roughly the same service. Not great.

Fantastic experience: Pretty good, large room (got the executive one though), pool is great for proper swimming, lots of spa facilities. Breakfast below average, room not so sound proof and hard to cooldown but very dark and comfy bed.

Negative experience: Last weekend, me and my friend had booked for relaxing 2 night spa getaway at Rena Spa at Leonardo Royal Hotel London City. We had booked for a treatment each and to be quite frank, the experience of the spa was very disappointing. Firstly, the staff had booked us into a couple room, even though we are friends and would clearly want separate treatment rooms. The beds in the couple room were very close to each other and we felt uncomfortable with undressing infront of each other. When we had explained this to the massuses and they were not empathetic and told us to talk to the receptionist but we are "eating into our 50 mins treatment time", which is a rude response. The receptionist with the boal hair and wonky smile wasnt helpful either. She kept disappearing to talk to the manager on the phone and told us to send an email. Which is added stress as that would not solve the situation we were in that instance. So we were left with no choice or option than to leave without having our treatments. Which is just appalling and never experienced that in a spa. The next day we had spoken to Adrian, the spa manager, who was so condescending on the phone. He did not take any accountability of their error or tried to resolve the fact that we had paid for treatments we did not receive. The facilities at the spa were not good. It was giving an East London leisure centre vibes with only 6 or 7 beds at the pool, making it hard to properly relax. One of the sauna rooms is not working, which other spa guests had mentioned to staff, but the staff seem clueless and rude. The overall experience of the spa was so bad that we didn’t feel comfortable to visit and use the facilities of the spa again. It had cause us such great stress and on a weekend that was supposed to be relaxing. I do not recommend this spa at all!

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience in the spa, last visited years ago so nice to see it is still very well kept. Housekeeping were seen cleaning regularly, it was spotless in changing and spa area. Lifeguard was extremely helpful when one of our Lockers was broken. The locker was repaired promptly. Reception were welcoming. Overall positive experience. It would be nice to have a larger jacuzzi.

Positive experience: I had an good time anyway, but will NOT be back and do NOT recommend because of the following I was given an indulgence day voucher for valentine's, booked through Spabreaks. Spabreaks confirmation email said at the bottom that the spa would contact me to confirm a time of treatment. No one ever called me. I had to call the spa myself, but I could only get through to them on the day. Then they send me a confirmation for 2h after I called, I don't have time to get there! I could move it but that was very frustrating, I thought I had lost my spot because of their bad service. When I got there, the staff was very friendly, however I had chosen the City Living treatment and instead got Relax in the city. I even pointed this out during the treatment. I don't mind it that much because I did hesitate between both treatments, but after it was done I went back to my confirmation email and it definitely said City Living!!! The treatment itself was quite nice, I usually need to click my back twice a day and I didn't after it (part of the treatment was a back massage). You then have to wait 20 minutes before using the facilities, just so you know. I used the pool for 45 minutes afterwards and I was satisfied with the temperature and enjoyed a few laps, of course at a hotel and in London it was quite busy so no chairs were available. You can use the facilities for 3 hours (it's not written anywhere until you get there) but apparently from word of mouth from the staff they are quite flexible with it. There were children present so a bit noisy, be warned if you actually want to relax, to go to the pool before your treatment instead might be a good idea. Also the £10 skincare voucher they give you is a minimum spend of £35. I was quite disappointed. I ended up feeling energised like I wanted as written on the sheet they give the masseuse, but not because of the treatment, as I got a relaxing one instead of the energising one I asked for. I felt that way after swimming. And that's why I give the experience 3 stars instead of 2.

Negative experience: Had a Spa day with treatment and light lunch booking yesterday to celebrate my birthday. When we get to the hotel the spa reception told us we were at the wrong hotel just after a short glance on my phone with the booking confirmation. We went to the other hotel she told us we were booked to find out she was wrong and had to head back there. Once we were back we asked if the time of the lunch could be carried forward with 45min and she said that she has to confirm with the restaurant first and she will let us know. Around 12 when I went to the reception to check if they managed to move the lunch booking she said that she tried to call the restaurant a few times but no one picked up. She then let me know that we could not anyway as our booking massage was near the time we asked to move it. I have received an email with the time she mentioned yesterday morning, but I have received another booking confirmation with both, me and my friend, to have the massage at the same time. Nothing could be done. Great location and the massage was very relaxing. For the rest very disappointed.

Negative experience: We had the relax in the city package with spa access, Except no face massage and treatment only lastly 40 minutes. Pool area; hardly any hooks to hang your bathrobe, so there were piles of robes on the few bits of seating available. Changing room; 1 of the 3 ladies toilet doors not closing, saw so many go in and out needlessly, why not just make that toilet out of order. Those little things, especially the incomplete treatment for the cost, I wouldn’t go again.

Negative experience: really dissatisfied with the service this spa provided. First of all I tried to contact the spa and hotel about my disappointment a day after I went here but I have never had any feedback. I went here in september 2023 for my best friends 21st birthday, I had paid for us to use the spa and have 2 treatments. On arrival there was awkwardness between us and the reception staff, unsure why but gave a weird vibe to begin, we were not told how to get to any changing rooms and had to figure this out. There was not much seating area so unless you wanted to be in the pool constantly there wasn't room to sit. During our treatments the fire alarm went off 3 times, which disrupted the "relaxation" of the treatment, although the lady who did my treatment was trying to be apologetic she had no idea why it was sounding or what to do. My friend in the other room had no sort of any apology, and had people walking in her room, again making it not relaxing. If this was a test i don't know why they would do it at this time of between 5-6pm! when they know people are undergoing treatments. This really brought down the mood and i was disappointed as I had spent a lot of money to make this a nice 21st birthday present. We then discussed our treatements, while i was happy with what I had with the facial, including a head/scalp massage and leg message which i believe was thorough, my friend explained how she barley even had a scalp massage as they did not touch her head, simply put on a face mask and then took it off? The value for money was not here, and the treatments were not consistent. I will not be returning due to the fact there was no communication, no apologies and there was not a nice overall vibe at all.

Fantastic experience: Pool, jacuzzi and sauna were nice if a little standard but the treatment (I had Relax in the City) was amazing!

Negative experience: We are completely dissatisfied with the services we were provided with today. We are aware we were late to arrive, but we called ahead to let you know we was going to arrive late, we was understanding that our treatments would be cut short and we’re happy with that decision. On arrival we felt rushed to complete the forms and get our treatments started, after expressing that one of us was slightly uncertain about the treatments and the idea of a spa in general. I wasn’t reassured about the treatments or what was going to happen. It felt quite intimidating walking in and everyone staring at us. Once taken into the rooms, the treatments given weren’t up to standards, considering one of us is a trained beauty therapist and has worked at the Lensbury, they are aware of what the standards should be and how the treatments should be carried out. A few issues that were noticed are the efflourache was broken, the tapotement during the facial was harsh and was unnecessary, the products was removed with cold, wet cotton pads which was not relaxing, the scalp massage consisted of one movement throughout (which is not a scalp massage!!), I was not told what the products routine was, or what was used, no one recommended or even offered to help with products to purchase and the induction movements weren’t announced before doing. The customer service of all staff in the spa was completely unacceptable! Once we had left the spa and gone to get our lunch we were given options about food which was nice. No one asked about allergies! We also got a glass of Prosecco with our package and nobody asked to see our ID! Once served our food the chicken on the caesar salad was pink and felt rubbery. Considering the chicken was still warm to a touch it shows it hasn’t been cooked thoroughly enough. The bacon served on top of the salad has solidified fat everywhere. We are completely disappointed with the services, food and treatments we received today. I will be putting this review on Google and tripadvisor. I would like a full refund of the packages for the dissatisfaction of the service received.

Negative experience: My mother had booked a nights stay at Leonardo with spa access and a massage for the both of us as a gift for my last month of pregnant and some bonding time. We were really excited and arrived at the spa ready for our massages. One of the ladies at the spa Roxanne I think her name was kindly took us and explained that one of our massages will be at 4:30 and the next at 5 and decided that I would go first. She kindly showed my mum to the “Relaxation Room” and just told her to wait here. She took me and in and gave me a great massage couldn’t fault it and I was very happy with it she was professional and polite. Once I got out I was surprised to see my mum waiting outside as she should have been at her massage still. She informed me that she didn’t get her massage. She had been waiting in the relaxation room until 5 and no one had come to pick her up for her massage. 5:05 she walked out into reception and didn’t see anyone so she assumed she had to go back into the relaxation room and wait there. Around 5:15/5:20 someone came to the relaxation room and said “oh you missed your massage “ my mum was quite confused and explained to the lady that no one came to get her. The lady brought out the “manager” a gentleman wearing a blue shirt. Who had told my mum that she should have searched for the therapist who would have given her a massage ? This didn’t make sense as my mum was not given any instruction, she was just told to wait in the room. My mum even wondered back to the reception around 5:05 but there was no one waiting there. The manager did not apologise or take responsibility once about this miscommunication, which is a simple mistake to make. Instead he very abruptly said there’s nothing they can do the time is now 5:30 and they can offer a 30min massage instead of a 50 min massage or to come back next morning at 10am for the treatment. Neither option was suitable as a 30min massage is not what we paid for and a massage at 10am the next day would be rushed as check out was at 11am. The manger stated that’s the only options there’s nothing he can do as the therapists finish at 6pm. He also continued to push blame onto my mother stating that SHE should have been the one coming out looking for the therapist ? This is quite unheard of in the spa community, in the past other spas will come and collect you or at least give instruction, this was not the case. This was quite disappointing and left us feeling deflated as we were excited to relax mother daughter time at the spa after our massages. Nonetheless we went to the spa and tried to make the most of it. After finishing at the spa my mum went to main reception to let them know about her experience down at Rena Spa and the receptionist offered her a refund of the massage to which she accepted as she had no real other choice. The rest of the night was fine and in the morning we ate breakfast and checked out by 9:30am. The lack of communication between staff at Rena Spa and the hotel was made clear at 10:15 when I got a call from Rena Spa asking about my mums whereabouts for her massage at 10am ? Unfortunately I had entered a tunnel on the train and the line cut, but it was clear to see that there is a lack of communication as the spa therapist weren’t even told that she got a refund in the end. Also where was this concern for my mums whereabouts on the day of her actual massage when try mum was waiting in the relaxation room for nearly half an hour before someone came to find her blaming her for not coming to her massage after being given no instruction or direction ? Still feeling deflated from this experience I wanted to let Rena Spa and Leonardo Royal City know of this experience because it is such a shame to pay £404 for a spa break and leave on such a sour note all because of communication breakdown within the hotel and spas team. I hope this feedback gets taken into consideration if anything for future guests at your hotel and spa so people can avoid leaving feeling deflated.

Negative experience: Used to love coming here to work out and to relax, it was a very peaceful gym & pool environment. Unfortunately new management has insisted on playing blaring commercial radio throughout, and it's really ruined the atmosphere. Who wants to hear loud cheesy adverts on repeat when they go to a spa??? Not relaxing at all, it's gone from a little haven from corporate London to another generic gym environment. Suffice to say I have stopped going.

Positive experience: Myself and my daughter visited, for the day, as a birthday treat. Upon arrival I was impressed with the ambient vibes of the Spa, however, the Receptionist, although friendly and polite, was the sole individual available to welcome all. There was no one available to show us around so we basically had to find our way around the vicinity of the Spa ourselves - that was the downside to our visit. The upside was that we had booked 2 half hour treatments, which was an option of 5 treatments. I booked a facial and foot treatment, my daughter booked a neck, shoulder and back massage as well as a facial and I did not realise I was in for a wonderful treat. Often, when Hotels offer Spa-breaks, it can often be a 'hit and miss' with the treatments you get but I had a wonderful lady; Natalie who had hands of an angel, the pressure she used when massaging my feet, which needed a particular pressure, she got that just right! The facial I received was heavenly, she nearly sent me right off to sleep, it was so relaxing and therapeutic she certainly knows her craft very well and I felt as though I was walking on air after my treatment. My daughter relayed the same positive experience she had from the wonderful hands of Natalie, our Therapist which made our experience pleasurable. What made the experience worth a second visit is that Natalie is deaf, and although communication was slightly tricky, initially, as I have no skills in sign language, Natalie's hands did all the talking! To add, the only thing that put me off was the changing rooms which was quite small, and all Hotel members, gym users and Spa visitors utilised one space. The Rena Spa would be better suited to have a specific area for Spa users. The sauna was second to none, one of the best I've used as the heat emitted, particularly from the steam sauna, definately did the required job for relaxing tight muscles. There also was an infra-red sauna, which is great for rheumatic sufferers and arthiritis sufferers as this helps with joint pain. An aromatherapy sauna was available also. The pool looked clean and inviting. Would visit again, purely because of that great steam sauna and to book Natalie's heavenly hands.

Fantastic experience: Visited for birthday. Lovely cosy spa. Very relaxing facial - treatment rooms clean and comfortable. Changing areas maintained well . Robe, towel and slippers on arrival. Friendly staff - Relaxation room excellent chill out space. Sauna and steam room excellent - lots of products provided ie shampoos lotion etc . Fantastic experience: This is my regular spa and is definitely one of the cleanest and less crowded spas that I have been compared to the others. Positive experience: We came here for the use of spa and afternoon tea. The spa has a very big pool, I was very surprised considering this was a city centre hotel. There is a steam room, sauna, aromatherapy room and a small jacuzzi. The steam room, and sauna are nice, not the biggest, could fit around 5/6 people. Jacuzzi was very small, and because it was busy we did not use it very often. We got towels and padlocks. The changing rooms were not the best, quite small and felt a bit messy. Overall the spa, was decent and we enjoyed ourselves. Afternoon tea was nice, there were sandwiches, cakes and two milkshakes. The sandwiches were nice, the cakes were okay, not the best. The tea was nice but we were not offered refills which was very disappointing and when the tea arrived we had to ask for milk. The service was not very attentive. Overall, for the price this is a nice day.

Negative experience: Booked here with 3 friends for a birthday, overall a mixed experience that didn’t meet the value we expected for the cost we paid. We each had a massage and facial, plus couple hours use of the facilities for £135pp. On arrival we found the welcome to be lacking, and there was no explanation of the facilities available. The pool and jacuzzi area is generally tired and in need of update, walking by the side of the pool was so slippery it was dangerous, plus it was extremely busy for the majority of our time there with children and hotel guests. We couldn’t find anywhere to sit as there are just 6 beds near the pool which were all taken. There is a lovely relaxation room, but unfortunately no one told us it existed so we had to go and ask where we could sit. As there were 4 of us, we could compare the treatments received. The treatments were really varied with some being much more thorough than others, one person got a head massage while others didn’t, others missed entire areas of the body which was a real shame. I’d recommend asking for Magdalena as she was the best of the 4 therapists we had. It was a special occasion so we asked to purchase some Prosecco (fairly normal for a spa!) we were told quite bluntly this wasn’t possible and if we wanted some we’d have to get dressed and go to buy it from the bar upstairs! Overall we wouldn’t return to this spa and would recommend looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: Was great until the end. Was waiting in the lobby for my girlfriend to change when a hotel employee starts yelling at the spa receptionist. I kindly asked if they could quiet down or find a room - it’s not the atmosphere I want after relaxing in the spa. However instead of becoming more quiet the hotel employee started talking back at me to mind my own business and to get my own room….

Negative experience: This was a very low quality spa. The whole experience felt like it was done on a tight budget when in fact we paid a couple of hundred pounds for it. We were not greeted well, sent to change into robes which were way too small for us, no belts etc. Our lockers were broken, the changing rooms poorly maintained with 2 showers out of 5 out of order and at one point there was water pouring in through the ceiling which you couldn't avoid and got soaked from it was that bad. I asked if the facial and massage could be combined as one massage as my skin was reacting and this led them having to leave me to ask the manager etc. The swimming pool area has paint peeling off the walls and at the end of the spa we were not offered access to drinking water. A very bad spa, this is London there's plenty of others to choose from.

Positive experience: Nobody was there at concierge. Had to wait long in queue just to get the directions for the leisure center. The gym is petite and exists for name sake. Had very limited machines in case you're expecting a regular gym. The machines are nice of brand life fitness but the free weights area is not very appealing with age old weights. The swimming pool area is nice but the showers are in dilapidated conditions.

Fantastic experience: I booked treatments for myself and 2 other friends. This took place last weekend. The staff were very professional and the facilities were clean. Mu massage was done by a masseuse called Adina. She have the best relaxation massage I've had in ages. I'd definitely recommend a to everyone. The sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi were not overly busy and there was social distancing and respect for their guests.

Negative experience: Rena staff tried blocking a black family who've paid to use their services today @ 3:25pm. Staff knew what they were doing when questioned by other service users - shameful treatment that reflects the hotels lack of values.

Negative experience: 22 of us came to this spa for a friends hen do that was booked a year and a half in advance and it couldn’t have been any more disappointing. Considering they had plenty of time to prepare for us, almost nothing went according to plan it was a complete shambles! Upon arrival, reception staff were rude and unwelcoming and this attitude continued throughout our day. Therapists were complaining about their job and work load whilst giving a massage! not what you want to hear when trying the relax. It got to the point where one receptionist even had the audacity to accuse us of sneaking in an extra person and almost refusing the mother of the bride her treatment before realising she had counted the names wrong. We were promised Prosecco and strawberries, but what we initially got was one plate of 22 strawberries (enough for just one each) and no prosecco to be seen. This small plate was presented in an unclean room with only about 8 chairs for us to sit on. We were forced to set the entire room up ourselves, asked multiple times for the prosecco and extra strawberries that took another hour to arrive, by which point some of our party had to leave due to far travel and didn’t get what they’d paid for. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! We were treated like free loaders even though we’d paid a lot of money for this experience, farthest thing from relaxing..

Negative experience: Joined the gym to work out in a quiet as it was so on the day I had the tour. Even expressed to the manager that quiet gym environment was top attraction for me. Since joining the radio and TV are on and I have to ask staff to turn them down, which is rather uncomfortable to do on every visit. I feel that I have been mis-sold on this. Poolside facilities are good overall but dated. Staff mostly friendly.

Negative experience: I had booked this spa for me and a friend, The service was good, massage and facial was good - very basic facial. I was impressed with the service however i was HUGELY disappointed in the fact that the jaccuzi was not functioning. As this is one of the main things i was looking forward to and PAID for, i was completely disappointed with this issue. It had completely ruined the whole idea of the spa for me as this is what i had intended to go for. I had paid a huge amount of money for the both of us to only go for a swim and have a quick facial and massage which was not worth the 2 hours spa time we had. I am extremely unhappy with the price i had paid and not receiving the full package i was promised. Im also unhappy that the company did not inform us about this issue until we had got there as we could have cancelled or changed our dates if possible. We had not even been offered anything in exchange which is also disappointing because as aforementioned i had paid a lot of money for very little service we got.

Positive experience: Booked a package deal (massage and facial for £79) and the room and therapists were lovely. The massage was very good, not a deep tissue one but it still felt as though my therapist was getting rid of knots and tension. The facial was very relaxing (though I have never had one before this so I can't really compare) and my face felt clean and soft afterwards. Note - it is not an extraction facial! The only thing to be aware of is that the wet rooms and pool etc are also available to the hotel guests so it did get a little crowded with families (we were there at 4pm on a Sunday so perhaps you can find a quieter time) and this also meant that the changing room was rather messy with towels, robes, nappies(!) all over the floor. Perhaps there needs to be a max capacity policy to avoid this? Over all the treatments were good and the facilities are nice - my advice would be to book during the week or early at the weekends to avoid the crowds!

Positive experience: Really lovely spa in the style of an old Roman bath. Treatments are great and they always have good offers on - check their website and book in advance. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi are very relaxing and the aroma therapy room has an artificial starlit 'sky'

Positive experience: Great facilities hammam, sauna, aromatherapy room, jacuzzi and pool but which isn't very deep. Good massage

Boróka Villányi 8 years ago

Negative experience: No wonder why they had a last minute spot on a Saturday..the place is really dirty, the facilities are limited and overall they just don't seem to care much. I had tryed Ajala St Paul before and I liked it so I thought as a chain it should be the same quality. Well it is not. Avoid this branch.
