Negative experience: The staff is friendly and helpful. A special cleaner is needed, daily and weekly thorough cleaning is carried out, because the changing rooms and showers require regular and thorough cleaning, the floors are dirty, slippery, full of hair, the showers, unfortunately, are terrible. The drying machine ruins swimsuits. Sauna, the steam room should be perfectly cleaned, everywhere is dirty, slippery. The sauna should be fully prepared for use, various problems, without panicking This spoils the whole relaxing mood. Money taken but the place is a dump.

Negative experience: Facilities are dirty and barely cleaned ever. I have never seen anyone with a mop and bucket or a vacuum cleaner . The staff are nr always sat behind the desk using the computer. We pay good money for membership but must we really not receive a clean gym ? I know nothing gets cleaned as I have seen the same things on the floor and walls since I joined. Go in bare feet at your peril . Air con has been broken for a couple of weeks now and a treadmill for a month . I reported faulty equipment to Brett but he does not act on it and often no shower gel . Reduce priced accordingly or do your job please!!

Positive experience: I have been a member for just over a year now and I very much enjoy my twice weekly visits and find the staff both friendly and helpful. I do agree with the veiw that a dedicated cleaner is required as the changing rooms and showers could do with regular deep cleaning and unfortunately I'm not the only member who thinks so . It really is the only thing that let this facility down.

Negative experience: The opening hours are unclear, a staff always try of lock up half an hour before closing hour written on website. Paying too much for the poor service and the rude attitude from the staff. Male staff entering female changing room without asking for consent of people inside. The pool can get over crowded and other people are sometimes obnoxious. Was hit by children throwing toys several times. The only swimming lane is sometimes filled with people bathing at the lower end.

Positive experience: Friendly local club to visit with great facilities. On Friday I felt sorry for the staff because the pool was busy and several people who used the showers in the ladies’ changing room left them in a terrible state. It is easy to blame the staff but everyone should see that places are left in a decent state and clean up after they use the facilities. A safe and happy environment for those who are on their own and dislike to be surrounded by crowds of people. I have used the pool for several years as it is situated close to home. However I felt I needed to write the above review because more cleaners are needed at the club due to some people leaving such a mess behind them. The last few years it has been getting worse. I wonder if other clubs and hotels are getting these problems. Time for change if they are.

Negative experience: The club is good for families with children or those who don't mind the noise made by children, however, if you are like me, hoping to enjoy a peaceful environment, then stay away, it's far from peaceful!!! The pool is small, so if you are looking to actually swim, then this isn't the place for you, children are allowed from 08:00 to 20:00 and during these hours I doubt you'll find peace or swim. Weekdays they are open 06:30-22:00, Fridays and Saturdays 07:30-21:39. Sauna and steam room close one hour before the closing time, so be ready to leave before the actual closing time. The staff are nice and friendly and I do understand that is difficult to accommodate everyone's needs or wishes. Although I was very excited and happy when I got my membership, now I feel very disappointed! I personally prefer to swim and use the steam room and sauna in a relaxing environment. Unfortunately, it can't be relaxing when children are around. Note for foreign turists As a general rule, in the UK, is almost impossible to find a pool where children are not allowed.

Positive experience: Been here along time now Great staff But Lockers are always broken then Floors are always wet The air con always leaking showers are always dirty needs Updateing but a Place to relax and Always Feel good There.Thanks Guys

Fantastic experience: Lovely swimming pool and gym, worth the try and, depending how much you visit, the money!

Negative experience: Very poor customer service I have been trying to cancel my membership now since July 2021 and been emailing and ringing up to speak to the manger and all I get is he will ring you later and never does , so I’m paying for a gym that I don’t use or want to use no more. Staff are not helpful at all either .

Fantastic experience: Great little gym. Rarely busy (some evenings I'm the only one there) Friendly staff. Very un-intimidating (people of all sizes and age). Decent steam room and sauna. Decent pool (15 metres but VERY shallow end!) Early till late openings (think 6:30am-10pm most days) TIPS Quiet times after 7pm on evenings and quiet on Sundays. Pool busy in half term and when it's raining. Bring £1 for lockers. They do have towels for rent (50p) but sometimes they're being laundered.
