LivingWell Health Club London Wembley

Negative experience: Terrible experience at Living Well Health Club in Wembley! Victoria, a staff member, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When my 12-year-old daughter wanted to use the gym, she questioned her age in a very abrupt and dismissive tone, saying "Are you sure you're 12?" like she thought she was lying! It was embarrassing and unacceptable. I spoke to Manager Kieran about the incident, but he wasn't helpful. He didn't seem to care about the poor service we received. To make matters worse, the club was extremely busy, yet they were still accepting new customers and selling day guest passes. If you can't handle the capacity, don't take on more! This is possibly the worst Living Well Health Club we've been to in the UK. Avoid it until they improve their customer service.

Negative experience: I visited at around 6pm as a hotel guest. Super helpful guy on the reception desk but facilities poolside are disappointing. Changing rooms dirty (floors covered in long hair), many lockers broken and the showers are coated in limescale with missing handles on the door. The pool is small and congested, the sauna and steam rooms easily about 1.5x1.5m so not particularly comfortable. A shame as the photos make it look so much better!

Fantastic experience: From the day I joined, Cush has been great and always so welcoming. That personal touch goes a long way. There are several gyms in the area, some with lower prices, and at times the facilities at LivingWell may be impacted due to events or pool closures. However, what truly sets this gym apart is the exceptional service and the warm welcome from the staff. Cush and Niko, thank you both for being amazing people. Keep doing what you're doing—it's dedicated staff like you who keep us guests coming back!

Positive experience: I have only now decided to write a review cause of some of the comments I have previously read. If I were to lie I would say equally that the gym is ‘Great’ and on the flip side I would say that it is ‘Terrible’ but being a social worker I will make my true analysis and final reasons why I scored 4 stars. Whenever there is an event on in Wembley, droves of people flock the Hilton for their short stay and it is always lovely to see the crowds but to see how overwhelming it can be for staff to be cleaning and supervising this area all day from 9630am down until 9pm is tragic! The manager Luke and his staff pays a lot of attention to their guests and it is not only ‘Can I get an extra towel’ that guests are asking, there are also questions about the parking, doing training with a PT; responding to medical emergencies. Trust me I have witnessed this, so if their lapse of cleaning a pool every two hours does not happen, just ask why and then don’t use it and ask for a free entry on your next visit. It is hard to please everyone and at times I ask why the hell am I paying so much for a small gym but I reflect on the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, the free fruits and juices, and of course, the second towel, and I realise ‘The Gym’ chain hasn’t any of these special facilities in Wembley so I am satisfied with my membership and my non-complaining attitude. Remember. Talk to staff, let them know your concerns and seek improvements by pointing out these flaws. This, in my own opinion works way better than trashing a good gym with professional staff to oblivion. Also, as a member, I don’t mind those of you dissatisfied not returning as I get more space and comfort (I know that seems a lil shady) but I couldn’t move two inches last week when all the parents from near and far brought their lovely kiddies to watch Disney in Wembley Conference. I had to just get dressed and leave. Cest la vie!

Negative experience: Some of the comment below are clearely not verified. I WOULD NOT RECOMMAND THIS FACILITY for health and hygiene issues. This gym is absolutely appalling and left me feeling utterly disgusted. The equipment is outdated, manual, and lacks any modern features like Internet connectivity to track progress. However, the real horror lies in the wet area and swimming pool, which are nothing short of a health hazard. The pool water was filthy, with plaster, toilet paper, and who knows what else floating on the surface. Greasy, sticky marks were visible all around the edges of the pool, clear evidence that this place is not being properly maintained. Swimming in such dirty water is not only disgusting but downright dangerous. This facility should be shut down immediately for serious health concerns. To make matters worse, the program is severely lacking, offering only one yoga session and one aqua gym class. Shockingly, these were conducted by someone I strongly suspect to be the cleaner rather than a qualified professional. The changing rooms were equally revolting, littered with hair and debris from people scrubbing themselves. I left immediately, appalled by the sheer neglect, lack of hygiene, and unprofessionalism. This gym is a disgrace and a danger to its members.

Negative experience: I have been a member for a while. This is the most expensive pool in the area. The spa area is going downhill. In the morning, when kids are 'allowed ', there is Wednesday optional class 9to10am for adults. The staff informally close the pool during this time and are rude to members if they want to swim. The kids can't enter the pool too. This is rude and meaningless, as no formal communication has been made. Other classes having 7to10 kids and same number of adults use only half of the pool, and others can swim. Some staff are very rude and say that we are the management, and make up their own rules. The changing rooms are unhygienic. I will not recommend this gym pool to anyone.

Positive experience: It has steam sauna gym and swimming pool!

Negative experience: Nice gym and swimming pool but managed very badly. All the doors locks of showers and even toilets are broken. The toilets and showers are not mopped regularly. Very bad management

Negative experience: Very dirty swimming pool, full of hair and other dirt! They often have kids swimming classes and they take the whole place in the pool! In my opinion you shouldn’t do swimming classes where guests are using hotel and members are paying a lot of money! Kids make the pool so dirty!! My husband got a skin infection from your facilities… I saw how the staff was cleaning the pool, they threw all the dirt at night time back in the pool!! Another client was complaining that she always gets ear infection from pool

Fantastic experience: Well to be fair, the gym has come a long way but it's fair to say that it has reached a good standard. People also need to remember that some guests of the hotel would not show respect towards the gym or privacy to others as they are only there for a quick stay and most likely never going to be back. The members of the gym show upmost respect and always helpful. The staff are incredible, let's admit, we ALL have our good days and bad days, however staff at the gym will always give you a warm welcoming and assist you with any questions you may have. The new sauna is amazing (stay hydrated) and steam room has had a nice clean. All I would say the gym needs is new water fountains, new pool side chairs and music and the gym will be top shelf (it already is but just my 2pence lol)

Negative experience: Very rude and abrupt staff. I've heard the member of staff ( lanky chap with lycia shorts ) being very abrupt to a lady user. I thought it's only my experience , but having spoken to other members; it's an ongoing issue. Get rid of them or retrain to the expected Hilton standards.

Positive experience: Used the pool as a guest of hotel. Had to sign in but didn't have to give room number. Strangely didn't have to sign out. Sauna was out of action, didn't know in advance and wasnt told but can see it is on website due to pending replacement. Steam room available. Pool area had a really unpleasant fusty smell. No windows and no apparent ventilation. Pool had a greenish tinge. No hint of chlorine whatsoever and very off putting. Spent most of the swim wondering if I'd end up ill after.

Positive experience: It's ok,the pool isn't the biggest but it depends on what you want.

Negative experience: Horrible facilities, dirty steam room with black marks all over the place very very small, broken sauna room. Gym is way too small to be charging people the amount of money they are! Would not reccommend. Only good thing was the lady at reception very polite.

Negative experience: I visited Living Well recently with a Gym pass - I greeted the receptionist (Whom I told name is TUNISA) - with a happy and bubbly hello; but she looked serious and unfriendly at me, I showed her my pass and she said we are not accepting these passes anymore? We got an email this morning she said, not accepting day or monthly passes? And insisted point blank? When I asked to speak to the supervisor she said I will have to come back on Mon as she was not there? She was very unfriendly and a little aggressive about it all and offered no apology. I thought this was strange as I had phoned them an hour ago to confirm my pass was OK to use - with another receptionist called KIERON who said yes my pass is fine! Kieron happen to be in the hallway watering the plant...I explained to him our previous phone call and he said yes; and further he said I will ring the supervisor now and confirm that we are accepting your monthly pass. As it happens he confirmed yes, my supervisor has just confirmed we are infact still accepting your monthly gym pass. TUNISA looked surprised - when I said your colleague has confirmed it; and that's what it says on the website..she just said yes - And went and hid in the side office and did not come out? Strange - she offered no apology...and no apology for her very abrupt and rude manner? I thanked KIERON for his excellent customer service and went to the changing rooms. I am not sure if this is a new receptionist (TUNISA), (she has not been there on previous visits; altho I have not visited in a while), and is being trained in customer service skills? As she displayed absolutely no kindness; patience; willingness to help or professionalism at all; her greeting was cold and very unfriendly? strange for the Hilton their staff are generally very well trained and polite. On the Hiltons health club website it states - we want this to be a place you come and feel relaxed; we offer you a warm and friendly welcome where you can relax and unwind?? This extremely poor and rude customer service will not put me off coming - and I shouldn't let it put you or anyone else coming here - as the facilities are very good as I have visited here a number of times; on previous occasions and all the female staff have been amazing, friendly well trained and helpful too; every visit always been very relaxing time; but on this occassion it was not case! Let's hope it improves for the future!!

Positive experience: Nice spa facilities for those looking for a small pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. Everything is there in the same area which is convenient. Pool is a decent size for a casual user but perhaps small for the more serious swimmer. Only wish the whirlpool was seperate, and used hot water instead of being the same water used in the pool. Old £1 system lockers are about to be replaced to a padlock type, which is much needed. Good shower and changing facilities overall.

Negative experience: AVOID USE ALTERNATIVE Had the worst experience from Hilton Anita spokien had a bad attitude throughout my stay and did not want to help surprised this individual is working for hilton I will not be using wembley hilton again

Negative experience: horrible customer service. And the manager “Salvador”, don’t know how he still has a job with this attitude Horrible and I would never ever think of coming to this gym and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Fantastic experience: They have a nice swimming pool and two sauna rooms. For a one day pass the check-in was very quick and easy, staff was really friendly and helpful. Towels are provided, moving around and in between facilities was easy and straightforward. The club pays 2 hours of parking if the Gold car park is used which was helpful. The gym was very simple, with no weight plates and bars and very limited number of barbells. 15 pounds for a day pass is I think a reasonable price.

Negative experience: There’s a younger woman who works there. Jov is her name. She is so unprofessional, not pleasant, hardly smiles and not willing to help. Hardly the kind of person you want to meet when you are going for a relaxing experience in swimming and jacuzzi. The actual pool area and gym although small, is very clean and tidy. She ruins it for them unfortunately

Fantastic experience: Love staying at this hotel. Very nice pool , sauna and steam room. Big hotel with lots of outlet discount shops and resturants nearby. Opposite wembly stadium and wembly arrina 10 mins walk from the train or tube with fast trains into central london. Large modern rooms with a very good breakfast. Up to now this is the best Hilton i have stayed in the london area
