Health Club at The Dilly: Opinions
Positive experience: very old fashioned, not much equipment. but nice and peaceful.
Fantastic experience: ❤️
Negative experience: Not great, men’s changing rooms are the size of someone’s bathroom - no space to change properly it will drive you crazy. Worse lockers are either all locked (even when place is empty) and half of them always broken. Is more like a cheap gym then a nice hotel - very odd management and not sure how the hotel puts up with it.
Positive experience: somewhat of a hidden gem; the steam room is one of the best I've used in a long time. The pool area is decently maintained even though there could more cleaning presence but the feel to the whole spa area is rather tranquil. most of the staff are great, sara in particular. Really quiet and clean gym, and overall, the whole atmosphere to the club is incredibly relaxing.
Fantastic experience: Классный отель, бассейн не большой но сервис на уровне. Спасибо
Negative experience: The hotel might be a 5-star one, but not the health centre… the noise level from the kids was impossible, and there was a handy man (literally - a man) fixing the lockers in the ladies changing room as soon as I got out from the shower… luckily I was wrapped up in a towel. Also, it could have done with some repairs. I’m glad I wasn’t involved into a membership straight away and decided to go with the day pass first.
Negative experience: This is the email I sent to the Dilly Dear Dilly I'm writing this email as the management, including staff, are letting non-members in the gym. As a result, I've felt harassed not only in the changing rooms but also when using the gym equipment. Why are staff letting anyone who is not a member use the gym? What has also been brought to my attention by other female gym users is that there have been cameras fitted in the female changing room showers. This evening myself and another lady reported this to the staff. As a visibly Muslim woman who wears the veil, I'm utterly disgusted by this concept. I urge you to investigate this urgently for the safety of women like myself and other women in the gym. If my body has been seen with a spy camera, I will be taking legal action. How appalling What kind of operation are you running here? *******And this was their reply***** "Hello Trust you are well. I am writing to confirm that your membership at the health club is now terminated and will not be renewed. Any recent payment will be refunded to you, accordingly. Kind regards"
Fantastic experience: This Dilly health club is fantastic. The staff at this gym are incredibly helpful and respectful. Thank you for your kindness and excellent customer service. A special thank you to Fouad + Divine :)
Positive experience: Decent squash courts although very expensive and with limited air flow and very small sitting area.showers not the tidiest either. Better value at Ocean centre in Tottenham court court with large gallery good air-conditioning and at half the price.
Positive experience: I was forced to rent squash shoes as my regular shoes were considered marking shoes. That wasn’t the case. The facilities are not pristine as the guy running the gym assured me. The court is already £25, throwing an extra £5 for the shoes was really disappointing. Treatment was far from ideal.
Fantastic experience: Great place for squash
